I would not recommend this venue based on my experience.
We paid $300 to rent one of the small rooms at Birdie's. When it was time to pay for our food and drinks, the young blonde employee rang up only our drinks. I asked why the food wasn't included, and she told me that the food was covered by the $300 room rental. Another person in our party also asked about paying for their food and was told the same thing. I even asked again for clarification: "So the food is included in the $300 rental fee?" She answered, "Yes."
After everyone had finished and was getting ready to leave, the owner called us back and said there had been "some confusion." My daughter explained exactly what the employee had told us, but instead of taking responsibility for the miscommunication, it felt like the owner tried to shift the blame by suggesting the employee thought we were only paying for drinks. That explanation simply didn't make sense to us. We specifically asked about the food, more than once, and were clearly told it was included.
The lack of communication between management and employees was incredibly unprofessional. Customers shouldn't be put in the middle of conflicting information, especially after asking multiple times for clarification.
Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing as the service. For the prices charged, the quality was nowhere near what we expected.
By the end of the day, we had spent $590, and not a single part of the experience justified that amount. Between the poor communication, the way the situation was handled, the quality of the food, and the overall value, it was an extremely disappointing experience.
We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend spending your money here. read more
