It is to my understanding that during shipping the paint got scratched and some got rubbed off. We had charged you $1744.00 to paint it and reimburse you more than that a total of $2375.00 This should have covered more than the touch up paint and labor cost. We hope you can enjoy your pavilion and again i want to apologize for the issue MY RESPONSE: The product was not damaged during shipping. It was actually packaged and wrapped extremely well. Your salesperson concurred that it was a poor paint job and that your company does not have experience with painting pavilions because most of your orders are either painted pergolas or stained woods. You response that it was damaged during shipping is false. I sent you the breakdown of the bid from my contractor to fix all that was wrong, which was not just a shoddy paint job. Detailed here in my email to salesperson (Mark) on 11/30/20: Materials/Labor to Sand/Paint/Caulk: $1925 The price I paid Backyard Showcase to paint it white: $1744 You have seen the pictures of the "finished" product and agreed that it was a poor paint job. Please show the pictures to the owner. Wood is showing through. 8x8 posts which I believed would be solid posts are actually multiple boards sandwiched together. The paint job is so poor that this is visibly noticeable. The interiors of the headers will all have to be "fixed" to hide the many nail holes from multiple boards being sandwiched together. Decorative covers of the 6 brackets are poorly put together. Materials/Labor to install 1x12" fascia on the outside and 1x6" trim on the bottom of header: $450 (materials) + $360 (labor) My order with Backyard Showcase states "no bottom seams". Additional cost spent on building the pavilion due to cutting all roof tongue and groove boards, fascia, roof metal cups: $525 Total reimbursement requested: $3,260 _________ The fact that I have to pay $3260 fixing the product after spending greater than $20k is irritating.

This is disgusting and unacceptable behavior, especially from a local business in my home town.

Honestly, I have had "white glove delivery" services before, and Mt. Everest services raises that bar! Even after they had placed the piano where I wanted it, they didn't leave until it was thoroughly checked over, played, and that I was happy. Their pricing was extremely fair, and actually the best price I found, considering the amount of stairs to my house. What really impressed me was the level of knowledge and extreme organization in getting it done so quickly! I was simply amazed in watching them disassemble/move/reassemble so large and heavy, yet delicate! Not one scratch!! Add a door too small to fit and a rotten sunken floor and it seemed impossible. They came and reinforced the floor, took the wheel base off the safe and squeezed her out that door, down the street and into their trailer. Once at our home she fit through our garage door with barely a 1/4" to spare. Very professional, double checking measurements, and taking it slow to fulfill my dream of bringing this family heirloom home. Well done guys.

Recently made a cross country move and rented an 8x7x6 foot POD unit to pack up my studio…read moreapartment. Our POD was delivered on schedule to the Middletown location (actually a day earlier than the estimate I was given). I called ahead a few days ago to ask if I could access the contents of my POD and was able to schedule it later in the week to go retrieve my items. At least for this location, the PODs can be accessed between 8am-3pm. When you arrive, you can call the number on the front door and someone will come help move your POD storage box outside with a lil truck--just make sure you bring your key! The manager (whose name I believe was Jim) was super helpful the day my dad and I tried to access my POD. We struggled to open up the pull gate (some furniture had moved in transit and jammed the door) and Jim helped us even push the box open and troubleshoot. Moving is extremely painful, so we were super grateful for his help!

We needed a place to store furniture for about one month until both jobs were completed. Hubby ordered a POD delivery for about one month to get us through the painting and floor work. The POD stored large pieces of our furniture from the two rooms. The cool part of the POD storage is the delivery and pickup of the unit. POD utilizes a hydraulic lift system called POD Zilla to lower the unit and load it back onto the truck when your contract ends. Please note that a permit is required to park the storage unit on the street near our property. We live in an older home; our garage is detached and on the back of our property. Lausch showed up at 8:30 aM as promised... and we had 3 great guys who were here to help us move. They had us out of the house by 11 AM, and even needed an extra truck since we had a few things that didn't quite fit. Moving in, they were professional as could be. Verified each room we wanted the boxes in, damaged absolutely nothing(so far, still unpacking) and their move came in..... are you ready for this... WAY under estimate. Literally the most stressful day of our life..... and it went off without a hitch. Lausch did a great job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who's moving.
