Stole a transmission from me. Brought my truck here for a simple transmission swap (I supplied the…read morenew transmission) & lo and behold they "lost" my original transmission. My first mistake was when I came to pickup the truck he waited until I already paid to tell me I would have to come back the next day for the transmission since he was still "draining the fluid". I gave him the benefit of the doubt but the next day he then claimed he didn't know where it was at that moment and asked if I could come back the next day. After that day he quit returning any of my calls. The company that sold me the new transmission required me to send in my old one (for a core charge, a common practice) and since I couldn't they charged me an additional $300 and voided the 30k warranty I purchased. They didn't adjust the shift cable properly on install and it ended up breaking the plastic assembly on my shift cable a week later while I was at work. These guys got lucky I was in the middle of moving out of state when this happened or I would have had the time to stand outside their shop making sure every customer saw the absolute headache they were causing me. If you are the owner of this shop and want me to remove this then "find" my phone number and see if you happen to stumble upon my transmission for me to pick up.

Today they fixed a flat for me at no charge...as usual. Sure, they will try to sell you tires if yours are not up to snuff, but all tire stores do that. And all the tires I've purchased there have been good quality and fairly priced.

I was not dressed up, I was dressed for the laundromat, which is where I was going next after getting my car. I have not been made fun of in a very long time. I'm somewhat overweight and was dressed in casual clothes. I think it was Eric that told me someone went to bring me my car. They kept telling me the tow truck driver said something was wrong with my battery - there is nothing wrong with my battery. They did not bring me the car. This guy handed me the keys and told me we here it was, on the other end of the property. It was 100 degrees outside and I had a hard time walking. I was not rude and demanding, I was polite and nice to them. But I really felt like that was so humiliating and disrespectful, they wanted everyone that worked there to see how funny I looked as I slowly hobbled to my car. NEVER AGAIN. My usual tire place is a little more expensive, but they treated me always with kindness and dignity. I cannot say the same for discount tire. They acted like middle schoolers or frat boys, except for Steve, who had sense enough to not go along with them making fun of me. God it was horrible. And I'm a Christian, we are to be kind and serve others, it doesn't give you license to treat people you see as inferior to you, badly. I was just some kind of oddity to them and that's how I was treated. The guy who had me walk across the property had an orange mustache and goatee. Everyone else there was not treated like this, I witnessed it. And they brought them their cars. Also of note, I cannot leave a review on their page, either they prescreen all the reviews by only letting certain people review, or they knew I would not leave a good one after how they treated me.
