Stole a transmission from me. Brought my truck here for a simple transmission swap (I supplied the…read morenew transmission) & lo and behold they "lost" my original transmission. My first mistake was when I came to pickup the truck he waited until I already paid to tell me I would have to come back the next day for the transmission since he was still "draining the fluid". I gave him the benefit of the doubt but the next day he then claimed he didn't know where it was at that moment and asked if I could come back the next day. After that day he quit returning any of my calls. The company that sold me the new transmission required me to send in my old one (for a core charge, a common practice) and since I couldn't they charged me an additional $300 and voided the 30k warranty I purchased. They didn't adjust the shift cable properly on install and it ended up breaking the plastic assembly on my shift cable a week later while I was at work. These guys got lucky I was in the middle of moving out of state when this happened or I would have had the time to stand outside their shop making sure every customer saw the absolute headache they were causing me. If you are the owner of this shop and want me to remove this then "find" my phone number and see if you happen to stumble upon my transmission for me to pick up.

A warranty they gave with the transmission. Aamco will not honor it. After only 2,000 miles on their transmission they refused to honor their warranty. We need a whole new transmission. This place is a scam and their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else . Anywhere else would be better. Then when a O2 sensor alarm popped up he explain she could wait on it and didn't push for a repair and even put a fuel additive to clear the alarm temporarily at no cost. I talked to him in person a couple of times while visiting during the timing chain issue and I left comfortable know she is in good hands. Shops is very busy which is always a good sign and his team was very professional and corteous. Very recommended

Team Automotive provided the knowledge and skill in implementing a good solution in altering the valve to allow constant transmission cooling. This came in really handy because I'm towing a large RV which tends to heats up the transmission fluid. Thanks again Team Automotive.
