I first discovered Discount Tire in 1986 in Phoenix. Forty years and four states later, they are still the best place to go for tires. Today they fixed a flat for me at no charge...as usual. Sure, they will try to sell you tires if yours are not up to snuff, but all tire stores do that. And all the tires I've purchased there have been good quality and fairly priced. read more

I always stop here on my way to Tucson, because usually I stay at least one day if not two in Las Cruces They still provide a valuable community service by giving you free tire checks and air. I'm sure all of us are more interested in going to a place that does something for you when we start to look at buying tires for our car. Once you get your vehicle information they'll have a record of the history of your tire use and temperatures and let you know how much longer they think before you need tires. Even though there's no charge for the service I always tip the staff five bucks. If you're traveling I believe this is a service that they offer it all discount tires. I've used them in cities all along my route going west read more

Cross country road trip, starting in Syracuse, NY. Spent 2 days in Las Cruces. The morning we were leaving, we came out of breakfast and I just happened to see something shiny in the front tire. Appeared to be a nail. We headed to the closest tire place...Pep Boys. They were busy, but after telling them our story, they took us right in! They were able to repair it and we were back on the road in under an hour. We put an additional 4000 + miles on, including Monument Valley and Valley of the Gods...very rough roads. Thanks Pep Boys!!! read more

Amazing customer service! They only had two of the tires I needed in stock, so they changed those two for me right away and Josh, the assistant manager, arranged with a location in El Paso to pick up another two before opening in the morning. He went above and beyond and was exceptionally helpful and kind. Every worker I met was friendly and efficient. Absolutely wonderful experience! read more

I have always been pleased with the service at this store and I'm a return customer. 1 Star because the MANAGER flat out lied to my face. I brought in my 4runner for a tire rotation. When finished the tech told me that I had a center cap missing, which I knew was there when I brought it in as my husband changed the oil and tightened the lug nuts last night. When I told the manager it was there when I brought it in, he insisted he had prepped the car and it was missing at that time. Long story short, as I was leaving, the tech Olivia ran out and told me it was in the back of the car. She took it out and put it on. 5 stars for Olivia, 1 star for the blatant lie and gaslighting by the manager. Please consider Olivia for the managers position. read more

Discount Tire - Nexen Roadian ATX on a 2020 Subaru Outback - Tires Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

This review involves the 420 S. Telshor in Las Cruces, NM. Purchased 4 new Pirelli all weather tires at a cost for $1237.00 for tires & mounting and balancing. Had the tires installed yesterday (4/21/26). I received auto back with my keys after they said the job was finished. Upon inspection before I left, the new tires had all the lube and dirt on the sidewalls from the mounting process still on the tires. Since I live in Silver City NM and had a two hour drive home I figured I could clean the tires when I got home. Upon cleaning the tires, ( 1 hour labor) I also found that two of the valve stem caps had been lost in the process and not replaced. I now feel totally uncomfortable with the service provided and don't trust anything the tire tech didl. Therefore, I will be checking the torque specs on the wheels myself later today ( 1 hour labor) and will go back to the store and have the wheel balancing checked by a supervisor. This is totally unacceptable service for the cost of the new tires ($1237.00) and would strongly urge tire customers find a reputable tire shop in the area. Lee B. read more

Another great experience. Went in for tire rotation and was alerted that the tread depth was nearing the benchmark for replacement of all four. They checked the warranty on the tires and adjusted the price as the tires had worn more quickly than expected based on the mileage since purchase. Check tire light came on after the new tires were installed and I went back to have it looked at. The reset apparently didn't complete at time of installation. I was shown where the reset button was as they reset it just in case. My thanks to all involved. read more

I made an appointment for tire balancing and rotation. It is worth the $16 per tire to reduce wear. It took 20 minutes for the whole process, including checking in. An appointment is key to get served this quickly. read more

For the past 10 years this is my place to get tires for my vehicles, no issues , no hassles and the people are always welcoming.

Very professional check in. Work done quickly and in first class order. Waiting room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Great customer care. Very affordable. However I bought four new tires and one of them already has a slow leak. I guess I should have purchased the insurance/warranty. I will still repeat because my overall experience was great. read more

They say "if you aren't not satisfied with the service, tell us. If you are, tell everyone" So had some work done on the front end of the car, front tires showing unusual wear on outside. More than just the alignment, and took a day. So decided I needed to replace the front tires. I went online to DISCOUNT TIRES, made an appointment for next day. I looked at same time for tires to buy that matched. I didn't find them so just figured I would work it out when I got there. I showed up at 11:00 and they were ready for me, already had the information in the 'Puter. They didn't have the brand I bought there before in stock but found some that met the same specs at a great price. I bought TWO for the front. Had a lunch planned with weekly lunch group at Chili's across the parking lot next door and went to meet everyone. After lunch walked back over to DISCOUNT TIRES, went over to my car and walked around it and saw I had FOUR NEW tires. Ok, wondered what was up? Went in to get the keys and ask if they had found something I hadn't noticed. Sales repre said just a minute and Manager came out and hand me the keys. I said I notice FOUR new tires. He said Yes, the ones in back needed replacement too. I had figured they looked like they had tread and would get me by in short term. He said that they wanted me to be safe on the road so they replaced the back ones too. NO CHARGE. Just come in and pay us sometime. I mean WHO does that? DISCOUNT TIRES entire process from online booking to purchase and service is the BEST. So telling everyone. read more

Hit a pothole 73 miles away. Called and Jesus assured me he would replace rim and tire. Limped back on a spare. The tire and rim were ready for us. They made decision to balance front tires better by rotating front and back ( no extra charge). In and out under ten minutes. And the price was unbelievably low. Hands down best quality service around. read more

This is a shout out to Andrew and his team at discount tire in Las Cruces. We were on a road trip heading towards Tucson when we had a fatal gash in the sidewall of the tire. The tires were originally bought at discount tire in a distant city and we were welcomed as if we were local customers. The correct size tire for our 21 inch wheel was not available in stock. Andrew got in touch with his distributor immediately and ordered the tire for us; saying that it would be in later in the afternoon. They put our donut spare on our SUV and we were able to have some fun in Las Cruces while waiting for our tire to arrive. Andrew gave us a ring when the tire arrived and it was promptly installed and mounted on our vehicle, and off we went. All the technicians in the shop were friendly and professional and we were able to carry on with our vacation without further drama. Great job Andrew and great job from your teammates at discount tire. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this Discount Tire location! We got a flat driving across the country right when they were closing and our spare tire was flat too. I called them and they told us they would stay open late to get us in and taken care of. Tavo was the guy who helped us out, he stayed late, met us in the parking lot and had us back on the road in no time. The customer service here is unmatched and I am so thankful to them all! read more

When you are out of town and your tire is low, this is the place to go. Andrew was over and above wonderful. We explained that we were from out of town and needed to get on the road. They checked the tire and found out it had a slow leak by the rim. They did not have our kind of tire but had an old tire that was the same size. They put it on so we could get home. Absolutely the best customer service, knowledgeable and professional. read more

I purchased a set of tires from this location back in 2019. No problems and smooth riding up until I caught a nail last week. I was able to make an appointment same day. Thank you Discount Tire...see you next time! read more

Make an appointment online. You get in & out faster. I buy tires here because they are a national chain and should something happen when I am on a trip, the tire insurance covers most issues. Plus they carry a great selection of tires. I am a Cooper tire gal. Doing a super social distance thing at this location, btw However, I am quickly running out of plastic wheel nut covers on my Tundra. I have 2 left. Two have been broken by Discoubt Tire when they do my free tire rotation. Once in Houston and now at this location. The place in Houston replaced the one they broke. I guess this location didn't notice...or didn't think it important to tell me. read more

I LOVE discount tire! Free patches and quick, friendly service. I called to find out what their COVID protocol was and the guy that answered the phone was friendly and enthusiastic. We were driving from Tucson to Dallas. Outside of Deming, we hit something in the road and flattened both driver side tires. After a tow to Las Cruces, this store was great. I had taken in my car to check tires. There was a long line. I started to make a right turn to get in line when I when over the curb and got stuck on some huge rocks. Quickly one of the staff came out and talked with me and assessed the situation. He could not have been any nicer. AAA came and with some help got me unstuck. The same Discount Tire agent had me go to an open bay after and checked all my tires, and filled them. I would highly recommend this location. Super attentive and friendly staff and eager to help. read more

So thankful! After having service difficulty at a different Discout Tire (it happens?) I stopped here on my way cross country where Gregory came out and properly flipped and reinserted spare tire correctly. He's front end - not bay. His manager came out to check and help. My front tires were getting to 2/32nds and that is the final warning till the tire is almost bald. Was busy working and not considering tires till Costco had a sale on Bridgestone. Was in ABQ at a Costco and the Tire Specialist indicated that Bridgestone wasn't the best tire and it's better to wait for Michelin or BF Goodrich to go on sale. He provided a quote printed, and I was in need of a store that would have inventory and a good price. I walked in after work to my local Discount Tire, and met Danny Cluff. He was very responsive and courteous. We looked into a couple brands and decided to get the BF Goodrich. I brought in my quote from Costco and Danny beat it! I had some new shoes on my car right before the heavy rain storms arrived. I would highly recommend Danny, and this location as they are very aggressive to earn your business. I made an appt. online after I received an email indicating my tires were ready to install. The turnaround time was only 40 mins from entering and leaving with new tires. I'm very pleased from entry to exit to this facility. Bruce Halle would be very happy about this experience! read more
