They are my go to people for my 2001 Tundra. She's a fairly low mileage vehicle for the year that I've had since she was new and I don't have vehicle payments. So if you want a dependable vehicle you need a dependable and honest mechanic/technician to take care of it. Aguirre Auto Shop is the place to go for good, honest, dependable, Auto Service. You can tell them my review from Yelp sent you. read more

This is *the* go-to auto service in Las Cruces. We had a 2014 Subaru Outback with some rough steering linkage issues. Aguirre Auto found the problem and had it resolved in a day. What was amazing is the depth of knowledge of your front office person (I missed her name). She is a gold mine! And her baby son is cool, too. Made me laugh. The technicians and staff at Aguirre Auto are amazing but I would tell any customer using their services; please be kind. Auto work and service is not easy but these folks... Awesome!!! read more

If you want dishonest mechanics, this is your place! I purchased a car which they replaced the clutch on within the last 300 miles(with receipts), the clutch failed, they looked at it and told me "the clutch fork fell off" which was a bold faced lie. Upon inspection the fork broke, they didn't want to deal with it, welded it back together (to save the labor of pulling the trans) and told me it was "fixed". I had to pay $800 to get the car shipped home, only to find they slapped it back together without any care for why it failed. They also LIED about what happened to get rid of me, then avoided my calls. Dishonest, crappy shop. If you want quality work, look elsewhere. read more

Aguirre Auto Service - Welded clutch fork, "fixed" according to them - Auto Repair Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

Professional, friendly fair and thorough service!!! We broke down on our way through Las Cruces from San Antonio, TX to Casa Grande, AZ during the Holidays. Aguirre's came recommended from local friends and even the tow truck driver. So glad we found them. Mark and Antonio were great in listening to me about the issue, what trouble shooting I had done, confirmed the issue and the truck was fixed in a day (A/C compressor seized and caused no start condition). Have dealt with one too many shady shops and "stealerships" in my day. Aguirre's definitely does not fall into that category. These guys are top notch. Definitely a benefit to their community. Many thanks! read more

Aguirre Auto Service - On our way to Aguirre's! - Auto Repair Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

Unable to speak with a live person via the telephone I opted to make an appointment online with their booking service. It took three weeks to get an appointment and on the day I arrived I was informed they had no record of my appointment. It turns out they use several different booking applications as well as the telephone for their appointments of which none are synced together. I was informed that they could book an appointment for me in another three weeks. We immediately turned around and walked out. read more

When I arrived in Las Cruces as widowed friend of mine said her husband wouldn't consider any other mechanics. Since then I have used this business for over twenty years. Regardless of what vehicle I have I always feel secure in having them check any problems, as well as taking care of regular maintenance. Both Mark & Keith have been more than helpful and the rest of the staff is dependable, too. WW read more

Came in with a loose bolt from the hood latch and they saw us within a minute, got it fix in 10 min. Great customer service!! read more

They diagnosed the problem (my starter) easily and were very nice about explaining what was happening. They did not get it done as fast as I would have hoped but they did drop me off after I gave them my car. I'm not sure how cheap they are, but they have a AAA discount. I think they are honest about the work they do, but maybe a bit expensive. read more

My car developed a big leak in its cooling system and had to be towed to Las Cruces. I talked to the local Pep Boys about repairs and they were very discouraging. Pep Boys told me that the defective part was no longer made. Not true. Aguirre located a brand-new OEM replacement part in Colorado and had it shipped in super fast. They were done the day after. Very good communication about what needed to be done, time frame and cost. Plus, they have TOM--the coolest shop dog in the known universe. Get your car expertly fixed for a reasonable price. And tons of unconditional dog love for free. What's not to like? read more

Aguirre Auto Service - Tom, the coolest shop dog in the known universe. The blur is his tail wagging. - Auto Repair Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

This is the best auto place in town!!! And we are not even from the area. We had some car problems driving from far away and though they were about to close and super busy they had generous hearts to take care of us. Thank God it wasn't a big issue so they were able to fix it in a good amount of time. We are so blessed by them and hope their business is blessed in return. Thank you Mark and team!!! read more

They're friendly and can't seem to say "no" to a job. They diagnosed issues with my car and took good care but I ended up leaving my car for a week. I didn't have a mechanic yet in town so I brought it in for a simple oil change. Left it for three days and it still didn't get done by the final day. After then, I stopped going. If you're patient, it might be worth the wait. Or maybe their cute dog is worth the wait. read more

We limped in from out of town and they were busy but managed to squeeze us in. We had a 2000 Ford diesel truck with bad front wheel bearings. They got us out of there the next day. Price was reasonable. Thanks guys! read more

These guys are the best, was driving through town coming from California trying to get to Texas. Heard a terrible clicking rubbing noise when getting off the highway. They got me in and took a look at my car within 5 minutes of being there and had it back to me fixed and on my way within the hour. Each gentleman i talked to was extremely helpful and patient. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR INEXPENSIVE, FAST, AND POLITE HELP. read more

Idiot light was on, so I asked my wife to drop off the car at Aguirre. She mention the front desk guy was rude (Keith?) they diagnosed the problem purchased a replacement part then later on found out the part wasn't needed only the wire needed repaired. They did a lot of extra work just to get to this part though something tells me they probably could of figured the wire issue out if they just spent more time looking at the issue instead of going by the book (repair manual) all is well need some time to settle on whether I'm going back to this shop. read more

They failed to apply our AAA discount to final bill (the only reason we took it there was because AAA recommended and we were suppose to get a discount). When we told them the discount was never allied the liner said our wad our responsibility to tell them at check out. Even though we had already had the vehicle serviced there just days before and had to take it back because they failed to fix whatever wad wrong with it in the first place. That first we used our AAA membership so they knew we were members. I paid over $2000 and they had the vehicle for over 2 months collectively. At the end of it the A/C still didn't work. The owner was very rude and said "if you have a problem your can take your car back." So I did, I'll gladly pay a more competent mechanic who will actually fix my car the first time as this is the 3rd time I've had to take the car back to Aguirre Auto and it's still having problems. read more

WOMEN & LADIES beware. My experience was horrible. Keith was very rude and unprofessional. I feet taken advantage of since I am female. He treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I was overcharged by over $250.00 for parts and I did call to verify the part cost. These guys are crooks and take advantage of women. Stay away. read more

These guys have been doing the repairs on both my car and my husband's SUV for years. I have absolutely no complaints and one example to share. My husband had the clutch replaced in his old truck and about two weeks after he got it back, we recieved a ckeck in the mail for twelve dollars and change from Aguirre with a letter stating that they had accidentally overcharged him that amount for the clutch replacement. I have never heard of a mechanic giving money before. Have you? They do great work and they are HONEST. read more
