Today I went to the café to order one whole pizza when they opened at 10:00 am. Erik was the cashier and he told me that they don't do whole pizza orders that early, but could sell me a slice of pizza. A week earlier, Erik told me the same thing. Both times he said that they were understaffed and had large orders to fill. Before now we have always ordered pizzas at this same time without a problem. Something does not add up here. I think its time that Costco comes to town. read more

A few months ago, I bought my car tires at Sam's Club. Part of the benefits is that they repair the tires. I went 2 days ago and I got an appointment for today at 2 pm because it seems that I had a nail in one of the tires. I arrived at 1:30 pm, hoping that the would take me early. The woman at the tire and batteries desk told me that they couldn't check my car earlier and I understood. I asked her how long was the tire repair and she informed me that it would take 45 minutes. I got back to the tires desk at 2:35 and the woman told me that they still haven't taken my car in. I finally got my car back after 3 pm. Fortunately no puncture on the tire. I asked the woman why they didn't honor my appointment at 2. She replied that they only had one technician. No apologies for the delay in service. Prior moving to Las Cruces I was spoiled shopping and tire services at a Costco where customer service is top nosh. We still shop at Costco in El Paso, 50 minutes away. read more

When I shop at Sam's in Las Cruces, NM, I utilize a motorized cartair as I am a 79 year old above knee amputee. When I went to shop today (8/14/25), it was nice to see the new carts. However, when I went to leave, I was informed that I could not take it t to my car. I was offered assistance but could not use the motorized cart. I had to reload all my stuff into a shopping cart. My comment is, if you are going to offer help to reload a cart and help me take ito my car, why must I reload everything into a shoopping cart? Why not just have the store assistant come with me and return the cart to the store? Simpler for all of us and the cart t is not left outside. Definitely, you have become unfriendly to your handicapped shoppers. I will spread the word. It will make me hesitate going to Sams in the future due to your new very unfriendly and inconvienient policy towards your handicapped shoppers. read more

I used to live next door to a Costco and was really spoiled. Now Sam's Club is almost an hour away so it's very infrequent that we go. But I love the selections and could spend a lot of money there. Our favorite is their frozen salmon. Wish we had more room in our freezer to buy 2 bags at a time! Really like Sam's Club. And the gas prices are great! read more

Horrible customer service. Today an older anglo couple (in there 70s) in front of us were asked for iD. the elder man provided his iD and that was the end (his wife was not asked for and iD). I expected the same ridiculous request, and I would have been fine with that request. But me and my wife are latinos and the rude clerk insisted that we both had to show an iD or she could not sell alcohol to us if only one of us had an ID. I would have thought this was racially based, but the clerk with this ridiculous request was a heavy set latino women. So I believe it was more about showing us how much power she had over us elderly folks (we are also in our 70s). read more

Sams Club is super cheap for it's food court. Hot dog & drink for $1.50. Whole pizza for about $10. Their $1.00 chocolate frozen yogurt was great during the hot days. Lines for their fuel station are long due to being one of the cheapest gas in town. The annual $45 membership pays for itself. read more

The purpose for my review is to share my recent experience with online delivery in hopes it saves others a migraine headache. In general, I will say that this store is definitely not customer service oriented. When I shop here I keep my expectations pretty darn low - go in with a list - avoid having to ask questions or ask for help/support - use the self check out and on my way. My experience with their online delivery service was a total nightmare. Heck, they could make a really funny Saturday Night Live episode with this material. Here's my tale-I suffer from a chronic autoimmune that makes it difficult to move on some days. I needed household items and ordered them using their online site. You have three options when you order online 1) Pick Up; 2) Delivery, and 3) Shipping. I chose option 2 and that is where my regret begins. My order amounted to about $260, I selected the next day for delivery between the hour of 7am and 9am and the system is to send you a text when when the delivery is on its way. Well next day came and by 2pm, decided to check the online site since I had not received the delivery. My online account indicated that the items were delivered. What? Attempted to contact the store customer service that afternoon "option 0" and after 10 calls and no one picking up, I didn't have it in me to keep calling. Next day attempted calling, and got through to someone who transfers me to the delivery department. I learned that Sam's Club uses 3rd party drivers for their local deliveries. I was also told that there are occasions when the drivers confiscate items. Interesting right? They assured me that an investigation would begin and promised to call me back within the hour to let me know what my options are. Never got the call back. Decided to take matters into my own hands after trying to call again but no one picks up the phone. I physically went to the store and waited another 15 minutes before someone could help me. A kind young lady that works in the curb pickup area was kind enough to hear me out and point me to where they keep items that are about to be picked up and/or delivered. I finally asked, where the heck is my order and why has no one called me back. I waited yet again while they looked up my order and tried to figure out what happened. All this to learn that my order was sitting right there! Yup, it never left the store. WHAT? Who is responsible for updating the online account that something is delivered, when it wasn't? And why does the customer have to get in their car, mind you not in the best health, to get to the bottom of this ridiculous circus act? All to say that I "finally" got home with my items and immediately called Sam's Club corporate to issue a complaint. Thankfully, they were very helpful in listening, taking down my complaint, and apologizing for the nightmare experience. They assured me that this is not how Sam's Club handles clients or does business. I was credited the delivery fee that I paid and that was that. Lesson learned - never, ever, use their online system to order items. The End. read more

Horrible customer service in this Sam's club store. I have been a club member for over 5 years and today was the worst customer service I have ever seen anywhere. The customer service representative and the manager were rude, condescending and unprofessional. In addition to this the cashiers and managers know nothing about the state alcohol sales laws. This Sam's club is always clean and the staff is always nice. I can conveniently find anything that I need here. They always have great deals on fruit and vegetables. And I don't know a single person who hates the cheap rotisserie chicken. But this Sam's club I'm always able to get what I want. So I ordered this tv for pick up the next day. Brought it home and noticed it had a little dent on one of the corners. No worries, I thought to myself. Then find remote control is all scratched up and chewed up like a dog got to it. Then I connect it and tv not turning on. Called customer service and they said they would start a return process...which they didn't. Supposedly they were going to send return slip, called back another day and followed up and was never sent out. I bought another TV same day same model, realized the other tv was not the same as the newer one. So called customer service and they said to take it back to club and no label needed. Get to club, told them tv was not the right TV, and they would not take it back. I had to call police and file a police report. Tim the Mgr, would not take possession of tv. Called customer service again and they said they would reach out with local management and they would issue credit. very poor customer service. I've been in a management position for many years in the restaurant business, customer service, and oil field, I would never treat a customer the way I was treated. Especially a loyal customer. This was very poor customer service. I basically had to come home with a non working tv I was told to return at the club. Till someone w more authority, I guess, can handle the issue. read more

On my last visit one of the check out associates convinced me to upgrade my membership. I knew I was going shopping this afternoon , so I upgraded my membership this morning. When I arrived at the store, my membership did not show up on their system. I was told by a manager that nothing could be done. I would just have to wait a couple of days. He stated that if I had upgraded at the store, I would have immediate access. But because I upgraded online, I had to wait. When I headed for the door in frustration, he told me to "Have a nice day." I went to my truck and contacted Sam's corporate office. It took me about an hour and a couple of transfers, but my upgrade was pushed through to the local store and I was able to receive my benefits. 1. The corporate office was very understanding and helpful. 2. Sam's front line workers, products and prices are great! 3. The management at my local store is not understanding nor helpful. I had to call someone thousands of miles away to fix a local problem. I wonder exactly how much they need my local business? read more

I've shopped at Sam's Clubs across the country, from California to Mississippi, and as of last year, started shopping at this club in Las Cruces, NM. I am disappointed in this Club, especially since it's close and I have to go there often. The meat department seems well managed and the clothing area is usually pretty neat, but most of the other departments could use work, for instance, better rotating in the produce department. But the Snack Bar is unbelievably bad and the restrooms are always filthy. My family often wants to grab a hotdog from the snack bar after shopping, and 2 of the other Clubs that we have most recently often been at, 1 in Gulfport, MS an 1 in South Denver, CO, the hotdogs are ALWAYS good. The hotdogs here at the Las Cruces location have been bad every time. Hard, dry, or cold.... always something. How can you consistently mess up a hotdog? We have NEVER gone and found a clean table in an entire year. Really? The soda fountain is filthy and often many of the soda varieties are out of soda or out of order. The condiments are usually dirty an/or empty (like the onions). The service seems unusually slow compared to other clubs. Honestly, it's a nightmare. The overall atmosphere of the Club is old and dirty. I don't mind the old, I've shopped at many older stores, but I REALLY mind the dirtiness. Someone with an eye for detail or who is somewhat observant really needs to pay some attention to the place and really get some hands on to the snack bar and restrooms. Also, maybe shine some cooler handles and doors, be sure produce is properly rotated, not multi dates, weeks apart, etc. All in all, I just wish there was a 2nd Club close or a Costco in town. If there ever is, you'll lose my business. I already drive to El Paso more and more often. Again, just clean up your snack bar and restrooms! That would help a lot. read more

This is simply for the way customers are handled and poor communication. I came in for headlights restoration. I was simply told it'll be a wait and there's only one technician on the clock. He said he'll give it a try. I was not given a time estimate but I kept jumping up each time I saw anyone working with my keys in their hands. I waited almost 3 hours for my headlights to be restored. I regret going here now. Other locations would have me warned and ask if I would like to make an appointment for next time. I feel bad for the technician but I'm disappointed in the way this business is run. read more

Sam's Club made this new rule that when you check out, you need to transfer your items from your cart to a new cart. That is stupid as hell. What is the point of having someone at the exit checking our receipts then? Also, what about those that use the scan and go feature? The local Sam's Club clearly didn't think this through. I wish I could rate this store zero stars. Every time I go in without my husband I get treated poorly. Today a cashier treated me very poorly and when I tried to report it to the manager I was told if I don't like the cashier treating me poorly to use the scan and go app. The manager treated me so poorly I immediately returned my cart which was over $200 worth of items. We live very close and have to say we do most of our shopping there. Mostly food items that we stock up on. We also use the online shopping for even better deals on items like computers and such. I used to love shopping in the Sam's club, I mean coming from Almagordo what choices do you have. I came into Sam's Club late last night to return something and was literally standing there for 25 - 30 minutes and I was the next person in line. I consider myself a person with a lot of patience, but this is seriously ridiculous. To top it all off the young man working customer service let someone cut in front of me to give them a temporary shopping card because they forgot their Sam's Club card. Another reason customer service at Sam's Club is completely lost. Where is the management? I understand they may be short some people but why is only one person working customer service when there's people waiting an extremely excessive amount of time because of problems/issues. I did not notice this employee ask for any help whatsoever. Many of the workers in this store also seem cold and basically tired. Seems to me this store is in desperate need of proper management or a complete overhaul. To top it all off, there were no boxes in any of the check out lines like there normally are. The wait at 8:30 to check out was pathetic again. Another 20 minutes or more. Only 2 registers open on a Friday night? This place seems to be cutting corners at every angle. I spent more time waiting in line than shopping, which to me a sign of badly managed store. Please tell me when they open a new register, why they let the people at the end of the line who just got there or have hardly been waiting in line... go first? How hard is it to ask some people near the front of the line who have not put their items on the conveyor belt to come in line next? Only takes an ounce of customer service, employee consideration and it's the right thing to do. I'm seriously considering not renewing my Sam's Club membership. It's not worth it. OK OK my mistake for going on a Saturday afternoon and thinking I would be able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I was returning an item purchased online. Customer service or lack there of... There was only two people working at the "member services" or whatever it is called. But really there was only one because they were "training." It took an incredibly long and unreasonable amount of time to even get to someone that would help. After about 20 minutes or so the person did call for help but when manager types responded they came and then just walked away. Eventually they did start helping customers. I am certain that these people really don't care as is par with giant corporations like this one. Oh well, I will not be returning or buying anything that could possibly need to be returned to a store/club. read more

Bunny, I agree with you about the float. However, this place sucks. And not just because the prices are sometimes more expensive than just going to regular old WalMart. But because the selection is horrible. The "bulk" items are half the size they are in other cities. The electronics were only (and I checked around town) about 5 to 10 bucks cheaper than you could get elsewhere. The lines can be a little long (not due to an influx of people, but the seemingly Sunday Afternoon Drive attitude of the check-out clerks). It IS Las Cruces, I guess.
