This place is for people who seriously have low standards. Anyone that has given a 5* review here clearly had a good first time very doubtful it was worth anything afterwards. I've been 3x now after a custody battle and first time was decent very slow it takes me 15 - 20 mins to do the actual donation portion and was herefor 3 hours watching employees play on there phone talking while my machine was done for every bit 30 mins and everyone just continued to walk past me without a care in the world. Finally got out of there thankfully due to one employee that cared. Second donation some rude careless employee jammed the needle through my vain I literally told her she missed and it hurts she looked r8ght back at me and said " I never miss" and taped my arm and walked away not even2 minutes later my elbow had blood pouring out of it I simply put my other hand in the air and watched the clock it took 13 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge rhe pool of blood that had dripped out of the IV already. When they noticed the blood the young emotee panicked and went and grabbed 3 more employee's all 3 came over to me and left and went amd grabbed another employee till they finally got someone that knew semi whay they were doing she restuck me on the opposite arm because they told me id only get half the funds after they blew my vein out go figure. 3rd time I literally got pricked in 3 fingers 2x each because the lady clearly had never done it before, I got put in a chair at 825 didn't leave till 948 and I timed my donation it took me exactly 13 mins 48 seconds to donate i finished before 9am and sat there watching employees play on the phone passing by me numerous times to assist other patients that came in way after id already been done donating after about 30 minutes I mumbled under my breath to myself "this is a F***ing joke" someone must of been right behind me and went and told the supervisor here that I "cursed at an employee" far from the truth. So now my 4th donation is come in trying to do express kiosk it wouldn't let me sign in so I went to the front desk stood there for 15 minutes before rudely being addressed with "what you need" told the lady my issue and then I get told that I need to speak to the supervisor so I do exactly that and get threatened with not being able to donate again because "i cussed out an employee" -_- if I wasn't financially struggling rn I would not ve coming here even if my life depended on it they are highly improfessional here and there's a good reason they work here and not a hospital. If I could give zero stars I would, I have donated with this place a few times now and no matter what time of day you come the wait time is ridiculous for anything, if you finish the plasma donation workers will walk past you and not unhook you and proceed to do other things like talk to other workers instead of care for patients My wife went to donate and the workers have also shown unprofessionalism and poor training My wife went to donate and got stuck in her arm poorly, once something was said workers couldn't decide if it was a hematoma or something else so instead of treating her immediately they chose to decide what's going on in her arm, they ultimately decided to switch arms and in which they made the same mistake and had to keep adjusting the needle in her arm, it took multiple people to figure it out, for reference my wife is a 145 lb woman as well. From what I've experienced as well as she's experienced. These people are poorly trained and unprofessional, I would not recommend donating here, go to another Biomat. read more

I have been sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes waiting to become a donor and not a single person has come up to the desk to check for myself or the other people here waiting. This is not the biomat I go to even though they are closer, reason being they gave me a hematoma the size of a baseball last time I was there. My original center didn't pick up their phone so I tried this center, twice to voice mail 3rd time I got through asked a general medical question. Very clean and sanitary. Many plasma centers attract bad company, but this center is very good about making sure to hold the customers accountable to the rules. Unprofessional place to deal with, my dad has been donating plasma for the last 26 years well before this place had digital records when it was still called Biotest, he has VIP status in which he is supposed to be put at the front of the line the minute he checks in, that is what the signs advertise for this title at least and how he and or vips were treat until recently, this last time he went in last week, he had to wait over an hour, I remember when the girls would question why there was a vip sitting in the waiting room still now they don't even care, when he questioned the girl why he had to wait so long once he was finally called back to a room after several people the only answer she gave was "we're busy" my dad took his VIP badge off and threw it at the trash can and told her then what's the point of having the vip privilege? She then goes and tell the manager Jerry that he threw the badge at her basically accusing him of assault, Jerry then called my dad into the office and told him he was being ridiculous about being upset because they didn't honor his VIP badge status, my dad told him they were in the wrong and left, apparently Jerry has blacklisted my dad from being able to donate at either location in our county. So a one sided story they put in with no proof and all the work my dad has done over 26 years ended, twice a week every week all year, over 15,000 donations from my dad alone and they black list him from a one sided story. He has been hit by a technician at this business and she blocked him from being able to donate the next time because he told her if she hits him again he will report her but he is the one being accused of assault. Every single time they take my pulse it fluctuates to the point of being impossible... then they do the other arm it's fine. Today's experience was disappointingly odd. I am a regular donor and usually everything goes well. I waited an hour to get into donate. Hematircit level was low but needed approval from Medtech. Phenomenally clean facility, very well kept establishment made it a very comfortable process for a first time donator. Staff was very informative, with a plethora of pamphlets and knowledge to ensure you were eligible and knowledgeable for donating. Manager was very rude we saw her yelling at a woman out of no where just snapped at this poor woman who was sitting there not making a sound made the lady leave. When this company was Nabi they tested me regularly for STDs randomly after two years of donating I had a false positive on one test that they instantly reported, putting me on the National Deferred Donor Registry(NDDR). I immediately went and got tested thoroughly at the local health department from which I learned I was still STD free, relieved I then brought the results to my donation center who informed me it's too late nothing I could do; I'm banned from donating plasma and blood nationally for life. I've been told by the physician at Biotest that he's seen a woman who figured out the proper channels and got herself removed from this registry, but that he had no idea how she did it and that if he did he could not help me to do so, because if he were to do that he and the center would get in trouble because it would look like they were manipulating the system to get more customers... Unethical... Blah... If you attempt to call the NDDR you don't get an organization you get tech support for the software used by plasma centers to view those registered on the list. It's been over 10 years since being put on this list. I had another checkup just a couple months ago, still clear; brought the results from then and now into the center again, they still wouldn't bother to look at them. Someone or some equipment made a mistake, you'd think in a network so organized that a false positive could instantly ban you across the nation from participating there would be some sort of contingency set up to allow one to appeal a false positive or at the very least someone to talk to that could lead you through the appropriate channels on how to do so, since a few internet stories and one physician's eyewitness account attest that such a thing is possible. Went to Biotest on Yopp road. First 3 times everything was great. then I got a girl who flirted with marines instead of doing her job. I yelled when she stuck me and she just walked away. Then it took 4 people to come over and help me cause i was having pain, I asked to take out the needle and be done but they didn't want that. They encouraged me to keep going...
