This place is for people who seriously have low standards. Anyone that has given a 5* review here…read moreclearly had a good first time very doubtful it was worth anything afterwards. I've been 3x now after a custody battle and first time was decent very slow it takes me 15 - 20 mins to do the actual donation portion and was herefor 3 hours watching employees play on there phone talking while my machine was done for every bit 30 mins and everyone just continued to walk past me without a care in the world. Finally got out of there thankfully due to one employee that cared. Second donation some rude careless employee jammed the needle through my vain I literally told her she missed and it hurts she looked r8ght back at me and said " I never miss" and taped my arm and walked away not even2 minutes later my elbow had blood pouring out of it I simply put my other hand in the air and watched the clock it took 13 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge rhe pool of blood that had dripped out of the IV already. When they noticed the blood the young emotee panicked and went and grabbed 3 more employee's all 3 came over to me and left and went amd grabbed another employee till they finally got someone that knew semi whay they were doing she restuck me on the opposite arm because they told me id only get half the funds after they blew my vein out go figure. 3rd time I literally got pricked in 3 fingers 2x each because the lady clearly had never done it before, I got put in a chair at 825 didn't leave till 948 and I timed my donation it took me exactly 13 mins 48 seconds to donate i finished before 9am and sat there watching employees play on the phone passing by me numerous times to assist other patients that came in way after id already been done donating after about 30 minutes I mumbled under my breath to myself "this is a F***ing joke" someone must of been right behind me and went and told the supervisor here that I "cursed at an employee" far from the truth. So now my 4th donation is come in trying to do express kiosk it wouldn't let me sign in so I went to the front desk stood there for 15 minutes before rudely being addressed with "what you need" told the lady my issue and then I get told that I need to speak to the supervisor so I do exactly that and get threatened with not being able to donate again because "i cussed out an employee" -_- if I wasn't financially struggling rn I would not ve coming here even if my life depended on it they are highly improfessional here and there's a good reason they work here and not a hospital. They suck 1* only because there is no option for 0*

I have just recently started donating plasma and this location was the closest. The center is…read morelocated in a new building and everything looks new and fairly modern. I am always greeted in a welcoming manner by one of the ladies at the front desk. I have never had an issue with any of the employees, they have always been accommodating and helpful any time I have been there and that says a lot about them as people because there are times when the wait is extremely long and I am sure their stress level is longer. A couple issues I have run into are the computers, wait and the TVs. The check in screens that you must use when you first enter are very difficult to make a selection with your fingers. It works better if you have a pen, stylus or your keys to tap the on screen keys. All of them are equally as difficult to enter your info. The other issues is that the screen moves according to an automated recording of what is on the screen. If you are a faster reader, you have to wait until that screen has been fully dictated. The wait time from when I enter the building to when I make it into the plasma draw room has been from about 20 minutes to as long as an hour. Most times it has averaged about 45 minutes to get called up. Once I finally make it to my chair/machine, I have had varying wait times. On one of my last visits, I waited upwards of an hour before I got stuck with for the plasma draw. Basically, I waited 2 hours from when I got in the door to when I started to donate plasma. The plasma draw too another 45 to an hour a that ended up being roughly 3 hours to earn $25 that visit. I need to do a better job trying to avoid peak times. The final issue was that some of the TVs in the room where you donate plasma don't work or the TVs flicker. This may seem like a small thing but if you are waiting to draw plasma for an hour, a working TV is a decent attempt at distracting me from staring at the clock and wanting to walk out. As bad as the issues I have with this place may seem, it is not bad enough for me to switch donation centers and the employees are great. They do a great job keeping the room clean and moving as fast as they can to get the next patient/customer moving through the process. When I first started and the pay was decent ($50), I think I ignored some of the issues I mentioned. Now that I have been doing it long enough to only get $25-30 a session, the issues may eventually get me to stop coming with any real frequency.

I went to the bottom app in jacksonville north carolina and I got Horrible customer service…read more There's a girl on there with pink hair and a pink hair clip and glasses who decides to show the entire needle of my arm for and then. She wanted things to rush faster and after I told her it's OK. I don't mind waiting. She turns the machine off such wiggling the f****** needle in my arm like that's a smart idea to do like I'm not in pain I. Said that makes like that hurting me and she just laughed continued and then no blood started coming out so she caught some guy over. He tried turning the machine on tried pumping the blood back into my arm at this point. I can feel the needle is not even in the vein feel it just sitting under my skin and you now can see a little bubble where my blood's at. which is not even inside of the vein which clearly hurts hurting me as I'm that hurt so he calls someone else over and has to try putting it in the other arm she's just incredibly rude the entire time. She did nothing but give short answers rolled eyes at me. It was just a horrible experience honestly and I definitely will not be coming back and the fact that i might now even get paid after I went through that. All they had to do was get someone who knew what they were doing. I said it was a comfortable in the 1st place. I have a horrible little blimp on my arm thats aching like crazy. I can't even move my freakin pinky or my ring finger at this moment. You litterally can see the swollen area. I can't even extend my arm.

I finally followed through in donating plasma. I was told the first time doing it to be patient as…read moreit would take 3 hours. They were right, but it was handled professionally. Therefore the next time I went back it was suppose to be easier. I had to fill out the information on the computer. After it was done I was told to take a seat. I waited over 20 minutes. They even asked if I was waiting to get screened and I said yes. I counted 6 people working on the screening, but none actually doing any screening. Then they finally asked me if I was waiting. Again I said yes. I went up to the counter and was told you could have just stood in front of the counter and we would have started the screening process. They knew I was there and waiting for the screening so the comment wasn't valid. I went up to the counter and the person there was in training. I didn't think much about it at first until it became apparent he hadn't been trained at all. The person training wasn't doing a full monitoring of the trainee. He didn't even know how to stick a finger. He finally stuck my finger, but kept my hand elevated. Applying severe pressure between his thumb and middle finger on top of my knuckle. This is not proper procedure in doing this. He almost broke my finger. He was having problems filling the small tube of blood, but he managed to get it everywhere else. He applied so much pressure on the knuckle which again I state isn't proper procedure, I had to soak my finger in Epsom salts. Then when he finally got it done he took the tube in placed in the machine to separate the plasma and blood. He left it in the container for a long period of time. Finally he removed it and attempted to place the plasma for a test, but I watched as part of the blood went into the test. I even seen it and told them what I seen. As a person with over 17 years in the medical field it was pathetic to see two people who failed in administering such simple test. By their mishandling of the procedures I wasted an hour in trying to do something good because of their deliberate negligence. I recommend everyone to ask for someone who has been there awhile and if you think someone is in training then ask for someone else. If you don't then you may waste an hour or more and be told you can't donate. It's one thing if it's your fault because of improper diet, but if they fail to administer the test correctly then why should the donor suffer? Imcompetence!

Sometimes you hear staff complain about their jobs, but that's not unusual lol. Of course the first day took over 3 hours to donate because you run through so many tests, and they have many people coming in to donate. Some of the donators are sketchy, but the staff assures you that if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable then to tell them right away. Honestly the only bad thing about this place is when they miss your vein. If you're like me and are kinda scared about the whole IV thing, that's definitely the worst part. Besides that I only have one other critical comment. The are supposed to give you 5 extra dollars if you are a student, also sometimes they do these fun things that give you an opportunity to earn extra money. They've never given me my $5, even though everytime I go they say "you'll receive an extra five dollars for donating today because you're a student," and every time I've won extra money, they never credited it to my card. Oh yeah, don't be surprised when they give you an immunotek prepaid card, it sucks because you're always paying a fee to use it, but that's the only option.

Best Place to Donate Plasma - ADMA Myrtle Beach…read more I've been donating plasma for several years across different states, and ADMA in Myrtle Beach is hands down the best. The setup is efficient, the environment is clean, and the staff truly make the experience exceptional. As long as you have an appointment, there's no wait time--you're in and out without hassle. From the moment you walk in, Stephane greets you with a warm smile and friendly energy that sets the tone. Lori is a smooth operator; when she inserts the needle, you barely notice unless you're watching. She doesn't keep you waiting either; she gets you started quickly and wraps things up just as fast. And then there's Keirah. I'm convinced she has clones; she's everywhere! Greeting you at the front, taking your vitals, helping you get set up to donate, and jumping in wherever she's needed. When other staff need help, they call on Lori and Keirah, and it shows how much they're trusted. This place runs like a well-oiled machine with awesome people who care.
