I went to the bottom app in jacksonville north carolina and I got Horrible customer service…read more There's a girl on there with pink hair and a pink hair clip and glasses who decides to show the entire needle of my arm for and then. She wanted things to rush faster and after I told her it's OK. I don't mind waiting. She turns the machine off such wiggling the f****** needle in my arm like that's a smart idea to do like I'm not in pain I. Said that makes like that hurting me and she just laughed continued and then no blood started coming out so she caught some guy over. He tried turning the machine on tried pumping the blood back into my arm at this point. I can feel the needle is not even in the vein feel it just sitting under my skin and you now can see a little bubble where my blood's at. which is not even inside of the vein which clearly hurts hurting me as I'm that hurt so he calls someone else over and has to try putting it in the other arm she's just incredibly rude the entire time. She did nothing but give short answers rolled eyes at me. It was just a horrible experience honestly and I definitely will not be coming back and the fact that i might now even get paid after I went through that. All they had to do was get someone who knew what they were doing. I said it was a comfortable in the 1st place. I have a horrible little blimp on my arm thats aching like crazy. I can't even move my freakin pinky or my ring finger at this moment. You litterally can see the swollen area. I can't even extend my arm.

I finally followed through in donating plasma. I was told the first time doing it to be patient as…read moreit would take 3 hours. They were right, but it was handled professionally. Therefore the next time I went back it was suppose to be easier. I had to fill out the information on the computer. After it was done I was told to take a seat. I waited over 20 minutes. They even asked if I was waiting to get screened and I said yes. I counted 6 people working on the screening, but none actually doing any screening. Then they finally asked me if I was waiting. Again I said yes. I went up to the counter and was told you could have just stood in front of the counter and we would have started the screening process. They knew I was there and waiting for the screening so the comment wasn't valid. I went up to the counter and the person there was in training. I didn't think much about it at first until it became apparent he hadn't been trained at all. The person training wasn't doing a full monitoring of the trainee. He didn't even know how to stick a finger. He finally stuck my finger, but kept my hand elevated. Applying severe pressure between his thumb and middle finger on top of my knuckle. This is not proper procedure in doing this. He almost broke my finger. He was having problems filling the small tube of blood, but he managed to get it everywhere else. He applied so much pressure on the knuckle which again I state isn't proper procedure, I had to soak my finger in Epsom salts. Then when he finally got it done he took the tube in placed in the machine to separate the plasma and blood. He left it in the container for a long period of time. Finally he removed it and attempted to place the plasma for a test, but I watched as part of the blood went into the test. I even seen it and told them what I seen. As a person with over 17 years in the medical field it was pathetic to see two people who failed in administering such simple test. By their mishandling of the procedures I wasted an hour in trying to do something good because of their deliberate negligence. I recommend everyone to ask for someone who has been there awhile and if you think someone is in training then ask for someone else. If you don't then you may waste an hour or more and be told you can't donate. It's one thing if it's your fault because of improper diet, but if they fail to administer the test correctly then why should the donor suffer? Imcompetence!

It is my first experience donating plasma, I have donated here a total of 5 times. Staff were…read morefriendly, especially if I arrived early. Sometimes you hear staff complain about their jobs, but that's not unusual lol. Of course the first day took over 3 hours to donate because you run through so many tests, and they have many people coming in to donate. Some of the donators are sketchy, but the staff assures you that if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable then to tell them right away. Honestly the only bad thing about this place is when they miss your vein. If you're like me and are kinda scared about the whole IV thing, that's definitely the worst part. Besides that I only have one other critical comment. The are supposed to give you 5 extra dollars if you are a student, also sometimes they do these fun things that give you an opportunity to earn extra money. They've never given me my $5, even though everytime I go they say "you'll receive an extra five dollars for donating today because you're a student," and every time I've won extra money, they never credited it to my card. Oh yeah, don't be surprised when they give you an immunotek prepaid card, it sucks because you're always paying a fee to use it, but that's the only option.

I'm a new patient at this clinic and have been there three times so far. Honestly, my experience…read morehas been one of the best primary care experiences I've ever had. Let me tell you, I've have my fair share of PCP visits to compare and so far the been 5 stars, can't relate at all to the negative reviews I've read. Let me tell you why, The staff is always friendly, welcoming me with a smile and making me feel comfortable at every visit. My provider, Ellyse Lamont, FNP-C, is truly outstanding. She's professional, has an excellent bedside manner, and always makes me feel at ease while providing clear, accurate, and relevant information about my concerns. If you're considering establishing care with her team, you will not be disappointed.

MedFirst offers Primary Care and Immediate Care services. MedFirst does NOT offer "Urgent Care"…read moreservices. When you view the exterior signage, they specify their services as Immediate Care. Once you enter the office, there is a sign stating they do not bill their services as Urgent Care and it is on the patient/client to contact their insurance to see if the visit will be covered. Please be aware of this before taking your urgent medical and health concerns to this facility. In addition, as a primary care facility, Immediate Care Walk-In appointments are not the priority and treated less professionally. Upon entering the waiting room, the receptionist was on the telephone. The receptionist does not greet guests with any sort of gesture, physical motion, or verbal acknowledgement. After waiting 15+ minutes for the phone call to conclude, I asked if they were still accepting Immediate Care Walk-Ins (as the waiting room was empty). She said no and suggested a different Urgent Care in Surf City that was closing in less than 45 minutes. Entirely unhelpful, I gathered my sick child and drove up to JCMC Jacksonville Urgent Care where we were seen and released in under an hour for Strep Throat and Conjunctivitis with prescriptions in hand. If you or a family member require Urgent Care without the fear of insurance difficulties, please select one of the other Urgent Care facilities available in the surrounding areas. Your wallet and your patience will thank you.

Best Place to Donate Plasma - ADMA Myrtle Beach…read more I've been donating plasma for several years across different states, and ADMA in Myrtle Beach is hands down the best. The setup is efficient, the environment is clean, and the staff truly make the experience exceptional. As long as you have an appointment, there's no wait time--you're in and out without hassle. From the moment you walk in, Stephane greets you with a warm smile and friendly energy that sets the tone. Lori is a smooth operator; when she inserts the needle, you barely notice unless you're watching. She doesn't keep you waiting either; she gets you started quickly and wraps things up just as fast. And then there's Keirah. I'm convinced she has clones; she's everywhere! Greeting you at the front, taking your vitals, helping you get set up to donate, and jumping in wherever she's needed. When other staff need help, they call on Lori and Keirah, and it shows how much they're trusted. This place runs like a well-oiled machine with awesome people who care.
