For a person taking the long trek up to Everest Base Camp, in freezing temperatures, air getting thinner with each step, and feeling a headache due to the altitude, there's nothing more comforting than some hot, freshly cooked Momo's. Actually anytime a person can get their hands on good momos whether on the mountain, Kathmandu, or the Ferry Building Farmer's Market on the weekend in San Francisco, it's a great thing. Bini's Kitchen fulfills all the momo and Nepalese cravings. I order the eight piece half lamb, half chicken momos and they were delicious. The best part is definitely the sauce they put on it which is slightly spicy and savory. The chicken momos are also better than the lamb if I had to choose one. Comforting and tasty dumplings. I would order it again and maybe next time the combo so I can get their sauce on the rice as well.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! as a critical vegan living in sf, this is hands down one (might even be my current fav) place for food in sf! the vegan momos are sooo good especially with the sauce they give me! i get it at least a couple times a month (always order it on grubhub or get it at the ferry building farmers market). there aren't many things i love but this ... I LOVE.
I love Bini's Kitchen when I discover them as a food Truck and was happy again to find them as a pop up hidden on 1 Post street behind the McKesson building. Luckily I was just passing by and happen to buy monos! They are my favorite!! They have great flavor and spices in their meals. I could just inhale the entire menu in my tummy!
It's a kiosk located near the Montgomery Bart station. I tried the vegetarian momos. There were 8 momos with chutney on top. The momos came filled with tofu and other veggies. It was very filling. The chutney was yummy
I did not have such a great experience today, but since I had this review in draft mode for a while, I'm going to review based on my last two experiences... I had walked past this place so many times but was never curious enough to check out the menu. One day, while wandering around feeling uninspired, I finally decided to give it a look and discovered they serve Nepalese momos! I love all kinds of dumplings, so I was instantly sold. I ordered the chicken, lamb, and vegetarian momos, eight pieces each. The meat ones were $14 and the veggie was $12. I practically skipped back to the office, ready to dig in. They were so good ! Full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly spiced. I just wish they had been a little hotter, but a quick 10-second microwave fix did the trick. I took the rest home and steamed them up the next day, adding a spoonful of Trader Joe's Crispy Garlic Crunch, which made them even better. My husband and son loved them too. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Sometimes a little wandering leads to the best finds!

Late post: Finally get to try this place. It was close for a while. Great fast and delicious food. A bit pricy but after pandemic everything has gone so you can't blame them. Price: $17 for chicken curry over rice with veggie momo and $2 extra if you choose lamb or chicken momo not including tax. Overall even with the price, the food is really good. I definitely recommend this place.
Transitioning from working remote during the pandemic for 3 years back to working miserable office hours requires training wheels, so what better way than to go back to my favorite lunch spot to remind me of the good old pre-plague days! Bini's is tucked away in a corner between two buildings and they have gotten a fresh new look for their storefront. Food is just as good as before--hearty, delicious portions of momos, rice, and chicken to make you fall into a food coma and hope that your boss won't see you doze off. Personally, I love the lamb momos, but if you don't like the gamey taste, the chicken momos are just as delicious! Service is quick and the food is fresh and hot. Takeout only as there is no seating here. Makes me want to go back to the office just for Bini's!

I work in the Financial District, so I'm always looking for quick casual places to eat for lunch. Binis Kitchen is an alright place to grab a quick bite. It's a stand, so keep in mind that you'll need to find somewhere else to sit while enjoying your food. However, I found the prices to be a little bit on the higher side for what you're getting, ranging from $18 to $20.
We had some tasty momos from Bini's at Hardly Strictly! 4 stars. They lasted pretty well over a couple hours as well.
I found myself at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on a Thursday afternoon with just enough time to grab a quick lunch before it closed and I had to get to a meeting. I narrowed my choices down to Bini's Kitchen and its neighbor, SF Chickenbox. I don't eat Nepalese food very often, so the edge went to Bini's. I ordered the combo, and as I struggled to decide between chicken and lamb, the person taking my order said he'd give me both - he served me the lamb momo along with chicken and rice. The sauce was very tasty and a bit spicy, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. A combo plate costs almost $20, but it's a generous portion that lasted me for two meals. I would not hesitate to come back to Bini's at the farmers market. I may even check out their brick and mortar shop as well. read more

Wow. I can not believe I have not written a review yet for this wonderful food. I've been here over 50 times and have never been disappointed. When I still ate meat, I went for the turkey momo's and now for the veggie ones. I ask for extra sauce because it's so yummy. If you never tried momo's, they are like dumplings with a somewhat spicy sauce on them that will soon have you crave for mo momo's ;) It's also a very reasonable price, especially for this area and it's a women owned business. It's a win win win. read more

What a unassuming spot for lunch near Montgomery Station! I love momos and this spot has lamb momos. They come in 8 pieces for $8. They have turkey and vegetable flavors too as well as mango Lassi drinks. I went for the lam momos and they are so delicious with the tomato dipping sauce on top. The momos are pretty big and I feel 8 momos are very satisfactory as a lunch. I am actually a bit full from it. This is such a hidden takeout place and you can easily walk by without discovering it. I highly recommend you try it because lunch can be so repetitive around this area. read more
Found them in the farmer's market by the ferry building and we wanted some dumplings in the morning. Hot dumplings were perfect for a normal windy morning in SF. They have 2 options for momos: lamb and turkey but we got turkey. Their momos are bigger than most of momos I've ever had before. This is literally the definition of hole in the wall. They inhabit a small stand in an empty corner of the street between a long cluster of buildings and a tallish high rise. A popular stand but lunch crowd is pretty light and service is fast, so you're not waiting too long. I went with the lamb momo's which came in a pack of 8 large dumplings. They look like soup dumplings but without the soup and very meaty. They also add this spicy, sour kind of orange sauce on top with lots of delicious seasoning and flavor. Biting into the first one was so satisfying! Each dumpling is so savory and hearty. It's definitely a great lunch meal if you're looking to fill up for cheap! read more
This small stand is easy to miss on Market St. by Montgomery St. BART, so be careful or you will miss out! It's reasonably-priced for the large portion sizes you get and the food was delicious! I got the Gortha Chicken and Lamb Momo dumpling combo (because I'm indecisive and like trying everything) and didn't finish it all. Everything was cooked well and had complex flavors and warmed my insides and my soul, revitalizing me to tackle the rest of the day afterwards. I tried Bini's for the first time at Off the Grid and got the lamb momos. They were sooo flavorful and juicy. Only complaint is that I wish they gave more sauce. I'll definitely ask for extra next time! read more

Bini's is my go to place for lunch. Located in Montgomery, it's a tiny hidden stand off the side but you can't miss it as there is always a long line. To beat the crowd, come here before 12:15. Once the lunch crowd arrives, your wait will be at least 15 minutes, but it's still worth waiting for! I usually get the chicken ghorka combo with turkey momos. It comes with 4 delicately wrapped dumplings atop of a bed of juicy chicken and rice drenched in creamy tomato sauce. If you're looking for a lighter meal, try just an order of lamb momos. You get 8 of them and they are garnished with the same tomato sauce. The cashier is always super friendly and after ordering, you get your food pretty quick. I have yet to try their lassi yet but I want to order one once the weather gets a little more warm. read more
My go-to spot when I'm craving for some dumplings/momos! For under $10, you can get 8 delicious dumplings with yummy sauce. Their veggie dumplings and their turkey ones go for $7 plus tax, and the lamb ones are an additional $2. I tried an order of their veggie ones, and enjoyed it so much. The texture of the dumpling skin was perfect, and they didn't skimp out on the filling. I lucked out because there wasn't much of a line when I went (1:30PM or so), but have seen long lines around noon. The sauce they put on the momos is great too. Some people might find it spicy if they are very sensitive to spice, but personally, I wished there was a bit more of a kick to it, or that they put some of that sauce on the side because sometimes it isn't enough. I tried the chicken curry combo the next time I went here. That was in the same size box as the 8 veggie momos. The box was filled with rice, 4 turkey momos, and the curry chicken. The chicken itself wasn't too try. It was more of the shredded chicken type, with some big chunks here and there. I wished there was more curry sauce though, as I was left with mostly un-sauced rice at the end. The turkey momos were good too, but I prefer the veggie ones. I went back a third time to get the veggie momos, as I felt that was better money spent ($7 compared to $12 for the combo) and I liked the momos more than the rice. They were quick, but I did enjoy the momos the first time I had them. This time, I felt that it was right after the huge lunch rush, so they were a little bit underdone, but still good nonetheless. read more
Just finished half of my lunch from Bini's and of course, had to tell my fellow SF yelpers all about it! We got an order of lamb momos and the gurkha chicken combo (which comes with 4 pieces of Turkey momos). Everything was really flavorful, fresh and piping hot. The combo portion was huge. Absolutely worth paying $12 for it - you can split it in to 2 lunches. An order of momos is more than enough for lunch as well. They also have vegetarian options (veg momos and kwati combo). TL;DR: Great quick takeout. Since this location is a takeaway only spot, it does that job really well. Most days, they seem to make quick work of their line during lunch. Non#lunch hours they seem to be ready take your order, then give it to you within only a few minutes later. The food is pretty good, small amount of options, but they do them well. Nothing too crazy fancy, but great for some quick food. It is in a strange location and is tucked behind some construction (at the time of writing). Though, that doesn't hurt the quality of the food! OMG that spicy orange sauce! I always get extra of it on top of my lamb momos. I love how you can taste the distinct flavor of the lamb and the orange sauce is just a bonus. It's a small little stand between 2 buildings. Go early or else look for the long line. read more

What an hidden gem for lunch in the fidi right at Montgomery BART. More like a little Nepalese food shack, this spot is quick, cheap and delicious. No seating, so take out only. They do momos real well. Looks like turkey and veggie are the staples with the third option varying. We ended up with bison and they were delicious and super filling. I was stuffed after 4! A nice amount of flavorful bison filled these doughy dumplings and accompanied by a light chutney sauce. The also offer up curry chicken rice and wraps. I went with the wrap and for $8 it's a ton of food! The chicken was plentiful and well prepared, although not a ton of flavor. This dish definitely needed a little something - an extra sauce or some fresh veggies for a little kick. I noticed that on the menu there was mention of pico and hot sauce, which I don't recollect, so I'd make sure to ask for extra. I added some sriracha and although it didn't quite go with the flavors, it added that extra oomph the wrap needed. This is a great option for lunch if you're on the the go and needing a quick fix! read more
It took me quite a while to find this place but luckily a previous Yelper gave better directions than Google lol. I'm not from SF so I won't even attempt directions but it's behind the big construction thing for 1 post plaza tucked in a corner. On to the food: I got the chicken + momo combo ($13.06 with tax). The momo (essentially a dumpling) was 4 pieces and very good. My favorite part and I'd probably just get that if I were to return. The combo also comes with a curried chicken (similar to tikka masala) and yellow rice. I thought the rice needed more salt and that might have gotten them 5 stars. The food was easy in about 2 minutes and was piping hot. They don't have bags but that may be a California thing. All in all I enjoyed it and can now say I've tried Nepali(Nepalese?) food. read more
