To top it off, they have a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights, which really brings the place to life and makes it a great weekend hangout spot. The bar side is open after 5pm check google

Boooo, Texas Live! What an incredibly disappointing…read moreexperience you have given many locals AND visitors! We drove out, paid for parking, and walked up expecting to grab dinner and watch the Mexico World Cup match, only to be told at the door that they had "just started charging admission for the Mexico games." Mind you, we came to Texas Live to see Mexico vs S Korea, USA vs AUS, USA vs HERZ, and were not charged. Seriously? If you're going to change your policy and charge people just to enter your venue to eat and watch a game, the least you can do is make that crystal clear before people spend money on parking. It was not on their website so this is UNACCEPTABLE! AND why just the Mexico games? I'd say that was predatory at the least. If it was solely about safety, let who arrives be served, but you took advantage and cost us $ AND inconvenience. DO BETTER!

The salsa was a watery mess and a little hot for obvious reasons, unfortunately not tasty. Got a burger and fries. The burger wasn't anything special and they put way too much lettuce on it to make it stand up I guess. The fries sucked. I guess they are going for the scratch made look. I got tid bits and burnt strays at the bottom of the pile. The top was a few soggy long pieces. Real let down. I wouldn't come here for food.

But she did not disclose there will be a up charge... so not sure why she asked me options that weren't included in the combo I ordered. So I had that retinal charge on the check. They have auto gratuity on all checks. Food was good for fried food. My husband enjoyed his daiquiri but it was really sweet. The atmosphere was not what I expected pretty loud for such a small spot, but my husband enjoyed the music. So I would put this almost as a lounge category rather than a traditional sports bar. Overall I don't think the amount of food was appropriate for the price. Especially the fact that those mozzarella sticks were $10 and only included 4 thats $2.50 a piece. It just wasn't my vibe, but it wasn't bad overall

After spending a Friday night here, I can see why. Drinks are cheap, there's pool and darts here, plenty of seating, comfort bar eats, friendly bartenders, and an atmosphere that screams Texas and college town. I was surprised that it wasn't as packed as I expected a college town bar to be on a Friday night. Since it was mid April, maybe there was an event or something else occurring? Anyways, no food was ordered here, just a steady stream of vodka sodas which my friend and I guzzled down. I've been told that the irish nachos are a must order as that's what this place is famous for. I'll definitely need to try those when we venture back out to this spot. Definitely a favorite amongst Arlingtonians. Despite all the cowboys memorabilia, it left a good impression on me.
