Nice ambiance in this historic house with great shopping, as well. Delicious lattes here.

The place is a cute coffee shop, and it has that going for it at least. I sort of felt bad because…read moreI'm a coffee connoisseur, and our coffee was dark tea, if that. We had stayed the night in the room above, and were thrilled to stay at a very nice Airbnb with a coffee shop just below. The owner is nice, and gave us a slight discount for staying guests. I appreciated her hospitality, but as I give reviews on here about ambiance, service and food, I can't lie. While staying here, I learned that she will be remodeling the place, and hopefully when she does she considers a bit more comfortable seating rather than just the stools up against the wall, with no outlets to plug into either. I debated on getting some of their homemade pastries and such, but eventually settled for a very large iced tea. The people were fantastic ( a family, it seems), and the food and place were great. Couldn't ask for a nicer little coffee shop. Now trying to find a reason for my girlfriend and me to go to Blackwater, just so we can go by this place and she can see the shop!
