But I'm glad I decided to go!! I ordered a Zhug on a Goldie's bagel, added turkey sausage, and a side of avocado smash. It was glorious. It was everything I wanted and more! But that Zhug sauce!?!? I want to eat that on everything!!!!! They make challah on Fridays and have latkes, and other pastries as well. They also have pastrami, which I will be going to try! The inside is so cute and eclectic. The brick building and bagel counter are NYC reminiscent. And all the employees were kind and working hard at making bagels. It's not very clean, rarely do you see anyone wiping off tables, counters etc. To top it off I ask for a pup cup usually every time, once my husband was told, "you know you can order that online" (same girl who had to pee). I actually took my phone in and asked her where to find it, it said unavailable at this store. Another barista we asked for a pup cup she gave it to us and my husband said thank you and she said "yep". I'm not sure anymore why we thank them when we are paying money for the product. If I wanted a lukewarm coffee, I wouldn't have asked for an iced one. How is this happening? Is it a mistake? A training issue? Either way, it shouldn't be that hard to serve a proper cold brew--cold. The whole experience is disorganized, inefficient, and leaves me wondering why I even bothered. If they could just streamline their process and ensure drinks are actually made to order, it would make a world of difference.
