I was beyond excited to find this Starbucks was still open! The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino is excellent! The gentleman that helped me at the drive-through window was fantastic! Even though he was wearing a mask I could tell by the tone of his voice and the crinkle in his eyes that he was smiling and he was genuine when he complemented my nails and told me to have a great day. This is only the second time that I have been to this Starbucks, but, the workers have always been fantastic and I've never had any problems with my order. I highly recommend checking it out! SERVICE... or the lack of service. The manager seems so friendly and he seems to have great manners. I'm not saying they are all bad but 75% of the employees should seek employment elsewhere. I go to Starbucks 2-4 times a week and I'm amazed by the lack of courtesy. One Barista in a loud voice told her fellow workers "I gotta pee I'll be back", (gross). One guy is on his phone constantly while his co workers are hustling about. It's not very clean, rarely do you see anyone wiping off tables, counters etc. To top it off I ask for a pup cup usually every time, once my husband was told, "you know you can order that online" (same girl who had to pee). I actually took my phone in and asked her where to find it, it said unavailable at this store. Another barista we asked for a pup cup she gave it to us and my husband said thank you and she said "yep". I'm not sure anymore why we thank them when we are paying money for the product. I drive a larger truck so we park to go inside. As usual the lobby is closed. We proceed through the drive through. 3 cars in front of us, no problem. From time we ordered to pick up was 25 minutes. Buy the time we got our oder our 3 frappuchinos where like milk with cream on top. We counted 5 persons working. The window was open the hole time while one employee was stating, " they are paying me the big bucks to here today!" They claimed they was short staffed because people calling in. The Carmel crunch frappuchino had no crumbles on top. They started we mix them in. There was none. I've had several from other locations, they have always been good and had toppings. The drink even had a bad taste of soured milk. Not worth complaining about. Just left and put over $20 dollars in the trash. Location is consistently out of basic items like tea bags, stoppers etc. There is always an aweful wait in the drive through AND the lobby. Additionally, very poor communication with lobby guests and when you have waited for 10-20 minutes you receive attitude from the staff. Tried placing an online order today to avoid that whole mess. Not worth it either. Phone said 6-9 minutes until it would be ready. We showed up 15 minutes later, it hadn't even been started yet and the barista made a point to tell us that SEVERAL drinks were still ahead of us with immense attitude. I was asked 3 times to repeat my order, the third time I repeated it, I talked louder and slower. She RUDELY told me not to talk to her like that!! The worst Starbucks ever! I travel through Sedalia often and I always hope it's better the next time and I'm often disappointed. If they didn't close early there will be long wait times. Today was the deciding factor to never go back. Went inside after drive they didn't budge for awhile. 5 employees but only one person making drinks and she was moving slow. 20 minutes later my drink was made! Went to leave and couldn't get out because drive thru cars were in way. Finally cars moved up one space and I realized no way to exit except the way I came in which was lined with cars for drive thru. I was stuck until drive thru moved again so cars could pull over more to let me by! I can't believe I wasted 30 minutes of my travel time on this one drink. Starbucks should send corporate here and get these people retrained and extend drive thru lanes to allow people to exit! read more

Came thru the drive thru for happy hour; I handed the girl a gift card I was gifted and told her I was a gold member and wanted to transfer the balance to my member card (so that I can collected my stars) I guess she didn't understand because my card balance is the same and I didn't receive my stars... tbh, the star program keeps me coming back. I'm always disappointed at the speed of service at this Starbucks, but I return time and again hoping for change. That was not the issue when I visited today. My daughter and I were so excited for pumpkin spice season. She ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte and I ordered the pumpkin cream cold brew. WOW!! I stayed away for a long time because of the drama laden, unprofessional, unkind customer service I've always received here. But I love my coffee, so I kept coming off and on. Lol and behold, I'm here this afternoon 9.5.17 @330 in the afternoon and was blown away by the friendly, nice young people working here. The cashier, a young man and the barista with braces, were outgoing and on point. One star lost for the large number of flies in the store and especially the pastry showcase. Gross. read more

Upon first sip it was so burnt I just couldn't drink it. Come here all the time. I am only giving it 4/5 stars due to the parking lot. Some days the line is super slow (which i get) but if i am on my way to work i can not get out no matter how badly i needed to... Employees are always so pleasant. Left several reviews and contacted Starbucks directly 3 times. I yet have no response whatsoever to the dirty Sedalia, MO store. The final time i visited the store it was infested by fruit flies that breed in syrups and in the building. The frape made my husband sick and he was in the bathroom for days afterward. My frape had the residue of a brightly colored drink in it that was from someone else's beverage. And, an employee that was mopping up an overflowed toilet that went all over the store was bothering someone in line to take their order. That just seemed really gross to me, too. I love Starbucks, well coffee in general. For some odd reason I always always have trouble with my order and the staff. If it's not my order had been made wrong, it's the rude staff that for some reason feels elevated for working in a coffee house. This is the Starbucks I hate going but have no other option. Constantly out of products by 9am. Employees taking orders that don't know what green tea and Oolong tea are. Online hours don't make store hours. Some days they are open, some days they aren't. Pulled in at 7am to the drive through and ordered two venti, plain drip coffees, two breakfast sandwiches and a piece of banana bread. "I can do all of that for you!", exclaimed the employee. She read our order back to us and left off the banana bread, added it back on and said she'd have a new total at the window. 15 minutes later we pulled up to the window and were handed a grande white chocolate mocha. Ummm, we asked for two venti pikes. "Can I get a venti pike on the fly?!", we hear from inside. On the fly?! You had 15 minutes!! After we had our coffees handed to us, we were wished a good day. Ummm, we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and banana bread? "Oh", the window worker vacantly expressed, "they didn't put your order in". 17 minutes in the drive thru, two coffees and no food later we pulled away in frustration! Don't know how you have someone whisper their order in your ear and not put it in. This trip was a waste of valuable time on an early morning trip to KC and the vacancy and cluelessness of the employees was irritating at best.
