Amazing work! I have a quasi-circular hallway space that's not a regular diameter and isn't exactly round and couldn't figure out a solution. I cut a rug pad to exact dimensions and asked Binding Pros to cut down a rug to match it, orienting the rug a specific way so the nap would lay the way I wanted bc I'm picky and obnoxious like that. I was really nervous about how the rug would turn out because the flooring in the circular area doesn't match the surrounding floor (don't ask me what the builder was thinking) and I wanted it completely covered. That would be tricky because two sides of the circle are bounded by walls and baseboard, and the other sides are open to adjoining rooms, which means the circumference of the circle is slightly wider on those sides. The rug could have been a real disaster. It was not. Not only was the rug perfect, but it was finished in under 24 hours! I had intended to have the edge serged, but was advised I might want to consider a bound edge because it would be less visible. It was also less than half the proce. I had an area rug that was too large, and wanted a piece cut off to use as a smaller rug in front of the couch. The serging on the large rug was done nicely and I like the way it turned out. They were able to match the color exactly (see photo). I also appreciated that they were able to do the work while I waited, as it was a bit of a drive over. And the prices were fair. I wasn't happy with the smaller rug though. It had serging that was also hot glued into place all along one side. The glue still felt tacky when I got home and I didn't want it to touch the laminate. I called to complain about the substance, but Justin was out helping his son. When Justin called back, he apologized for the glue and said to bring the rug back and he could fix it. My parents ordered a runner for their bathroom and needed it to be exactly 5" shorter so as to not trip up my dad's walker. An upholstery place recommended this business. They were friendly, quick and reasonably priced. They can cut down a rug and custom resize it. They can make custom size rugs out of carpet. They also mentioned if someone needs an extra large rug they can bind multiple area rugs together. They can even make inventive shapes to fit unique areas. High quality work and super happy with the end results. We got the woven edge and some sticky stuff on the bottom of the doormats. Looks great and functions perfectly. Reason for the lower stars is because they cut the wrong size. I had emailed them with a couple of options we were considering asking if they could do them, being very clear they were not final. They responded that yes, they had the capability to do any of them so to let them know. I emailed them the morning of the pickup confirming which cut we wanted. I got a call later in the day saying that they had printed out the emails and cut the first design they saw, which was smaller than the one we asked them to do. It was a struggle to get them to take ownership over the mistake, as it kept being my fault for sending multiple options during the initial conversations, and they weren't even offering any solutions (e.g. discount) until after 10 minutes of me being upset on the phone and suggesting that they needed to do something because it was their fault, not mine. Pretty upsetting and not a great customer experience. To be fair, aside from that once I got over the wrong size, very happy with the end product and the drop off and pick up service. Just make sure you only ever send them one set of final instructions. I would do it again though (with that advice). read more

I used Binding Pros for two jobs. The first was two runners using leftovers from a new carpet we had installed. Justin did an excellent job on them, and I thought the charge for the work was appropriate. Subsequently I took my last larger piece of the carpet to him and asked him to make a longer runner which he did. Unfortunately, the person who works his front desk gave my finished runner to another customer. She told me she didn't know who she gave it to and apologized. Justin told me to get the name of the manufacturer and a source for the carpet, which I did. It was Shaw carpet, and I told him the name of the company we purchased it from. He has subsequently refused to return my calls, and I am out of luck. I would hesitate to recommend Binding Pros because of this breach of trust. read more
