Continental breakfast

Coffee, orange juice, and a breakfast spread for 7.50€ Food came out hot and was pretty good especially for the price. I also got a chocolate croissant, but I've had better. Our waitress was really nice and recommended we try a pastry for the carnival which was pretty good too. Good location, right by where we were staying and we sat outside on the street and got to watch the people walk by. It lost a star because it wasn't so good that I would go there the next day, but it did the trick for a solid breakfast close by.

Look here son. I stumbled out of the train station "Termini" in central Rome and found respite at this cafe. My lady friend wanted a crepe and they told us it's take ten minutes. No problem. We sat and waited. Five minutes in, the temptation was too much. I ordered a cannoli and fell in love. Crunchy on the outside, beautiful cream on the inside. The cafe itself was very lively. People walking in and out chatting with the owner. The crepe came out from the back and the waiter apologized for the wait. No need for the apology my bambino, we really enjoyed casually sitting at your cafe. There is warm food ready to eat and even some gambling machines at the back to make some free money while you wait. Could this place be any better? Finally, their music choices are the best. Lovely, Italian pop/reggae ton music to really get you going at 11:30 am. La vita bella. Arriverdici! ¡Buen Provecho!

We love it.

The food is really good. And the employees very nice!!. Er had pizza, pork panini coffee and pastry. Everything was great.

It feels less like a standard train station and more like a mega-mall that happens to have tracks attached. The selection of stores, cafes, and markets here is fantastic--you can easily kill an hour shopping or grabbing a great bite to eat while waiting for a departure. Just a heads-up: give yourself plenty of extra time to reach your train. The platforms here are incredibly long, and if your train is assigned to one of the regional tracks or a high-speed engine waiting far down the line, it can be a massive, unexpected walk to get to your carriage. Keep your eyes on the departure boards and don't linger at the shops too long.

It's super busy but conveniently is very close to a lot of stuff in Rome, so for day trips or if you are staying nearby it's very convenient. This is definitely not my favorite train station but it's also a super useful tool for getting around. Just prepare yourself for a bit of a chaotic arrival and you will be totally fine. The uber pickup area is a little hard to find, through a nondescript hallway, but getting an Uber worked pretty easily for us. In the past I've had no issues getting cabs as well - at least not no more issue than anywhere else in Rome.

Security took only a couple of minutes, and the process was incredibly efficient. I didn't have to remove electronics or liquids from my bag, and I even realized afterward that I had accidentally left a bottle of water inside. The screening technology seemed very advanced and helped keep things moving smoothly. The airport was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Good news...it offers modern security measures with facial and fingerprint recognition. Bad news... passport control is horrific!!! We waited over an hour in the passport control line as we weaved through a maze like little slow moving mice. This is the longest passport control line we have ever experienced. You would think with millions of visitors each year, this process would be much improved. Transportation links are good. Rome's Termini train station is a available as a means of transportation. Taxis and ride services are readily available, making arrivals and departures straightforward. Taxi rate was a fixed rate of $55 euros.
