She kept going after I told her that was offensive. She then told me it looked like I had a man's beard. I have a hormonal imbalance that causes a lot of peach fuzz. I also have very sensitive skin, making it hard to manage with more products. I told her it wasn't ok to comment on someone's appearance. SHE KEPT GOING, saying I needed my entire face done. Literally sitting in my car crying in the parking lot right now. The cherry on top is my brows being hacked. Not sure if this woman did it on purpose after her comments or what, but when she takes scissors to your brows, she will take uneven chunks out. I paid money to be insulted, and to have my eyebrows look a mess. This woman doesn't deserve to be in business.

A good option for threading in Fort Collins (there's only a handful of threading places in town)…read more The location is right near the Macy's end of the mall and I had just a few minutes' wait. The experience was fine and I have no complaints about my brows, unlike the other reviewers. The downside is that it costs $16 for eyebrows only, which is pretty pricey for a stall in the middle of a hallway. A good option in a pinch, but I'll go elsewhere for regular appointments.

I've visited Royce Spa midtown location a couple times to get my nails done and the thing I enjoy…read moremost is their customer service. For every visit, they offer you a free beverage and have several options to choose from. The chairs are nice and plush and have a nice massage option. I really like that they cover the pedicure water bowl with a plastic liner and replace the liner after each guest to keep the space sanitary. The location is clean, bright, and modern. It's beautiful! On my first visit, I got a new set of acrylic nails and a pedicure so I had two nail artists assisting me at the same time. I was particular about the color I was getting because I was preparing to be maid of honor for my sister's wedding and wanted to make sure my nails were more of a nude slightly pink color. I came in with an example picture from IG. The manager, Chloe, was super helpful and demonstrated several colors to make sure I got what I wanted. The acrylic set I got was exactly what I wanted including the color and shape. Most notably, the nail artist filed them in a way that they were sharp which is important to me. I hate the feeling of dull nails. The acrylic set was so basic with the color, but I received so many compliments on them! My friends and the bridesmaids used them as inspo for their nails, too. For my pedicures, I've worked with the same person on both visits and they did not do a great job with the nail polish on my toes. On the first visit, the nail polish application was really splotchy. You could see bumps on the nail polish. The nail polish might've been dry or something, but the nail artist was just going to leave it like that so I mentioned it to Chloe and she was super kind in staying late (after the nail spa closed) to make sure my nail polish looked great and smooth. Because we were there after hours, she added a layer of gel to the top of the regular polish for free so that it would dry faster which I appreciated. On my second visit, the same nail artist assisted me with my pedicure and it turned out mostly okay, but it's been a little over a week and my nails are already chipping which is unusual for my toes. Overall, I've had great experiences with the staff (minus one, but we won't let one spoil the bunch) so I would recommend Royce Spa midtown to anyone especially if you have a chance to work with Chloe. She listens to customers and seems to take great pride in her work.

We sat in the chairs and waited 45 minutes until they started. The entire process took about two hours. I returned today, thinking it may have been a one off day and they were busy. I arrived on Friday at 10. I requested a pedicure and a rebase. They sat me in the pedicure chair, where I waited an hour just letting my feet soak in water until someone finally came by. The pedicure was fine, not great not terrible. I then wanted french tips on my nails, we talked about doing a pink color underneath to make it look natural. These are probably the worst french tips I've ever gotten. No pink in sight, definitely tan. My fingers are incredibly messy, I have acrylic all over my skin and under my nails. I most likely will not be returning after this. So frustrating because I payed over $150 for these two services and was very disappointed.

We made the appointment for 3pm on a Sunday, and were told that it was completely doable and that we could be done before they closed at 5. We all showed up on time, and it seemed as though the nail salon had many other people make appointments at the same time as us, so after waiting an entire hour past the time, 3 of us were started-- one person with gel and the two with dip. 40 minutes before they closed, 1.25 hours into sitting around, and hadn't even begun on my acrylic refill, and we were notified only ONE staff could do design since everyone else was booked out. Incredibly disappointing, and clearly not coordinated. Nobody spoke to us, ignored us and grabbed others that came in after us and after our appointment slot and took care of them first. Had someone come to call only one of us back at 4:30, which would not have left enough time to get either of us done. Seems as though they have 2 good people who were booked out by others, but did not consider the large group that we'd called about a week ago. Vibes: The space was cute and professional-looking, which did not match the business practice whatsoever. I love supporting small businesses and I'm happy to see success, but the customer experience is overlooked. We were treated as if we were walk-ins without an appointment. Two of us are leaving without our nails done due to the timing. The others did get nails done and they look pretty good, and the green ones were a little patchy but the design was good. I wish I could have left a positive review, as the pink & purple nails turned out just how we asked.
