My garbage bins were so filthy inside it was scary. Mold and plant dirt in the green bin, stuff stuck to the bottom of the blue bin, who knows what attached to the black bin. Our 3 garbage bins hadn't been cleaned in years and the grime and bad odor had gotten much worse. I called Bin Cleaners and set up an appointment for cleaning. They sent me a confirming email with very clear instructions shortly after the call and a text the day before to remind me of the appointment. A little bit of a rocky start on setup but they were very communicative about fixing it and did fix it promptly. They magically came around while we were at work and I will say that the bins looked like NEW afterwards. Sparkling! I inherited the trash, compost and recycle bins from the prior tenants. They were disgusting. I did not want to have to try to clean their gunk myself. Bin cleaners is an excellent service. They use steaming hot water to clean and they even dried the bins after washing. My bins are completely clean and sanitized. I saw this company recommended on Next Door and was ready to start having bins that weren't smelly and dirty. We have two cats so the trash can especially was not pleasant. Now, it's fresh and clean. We saw their truck and decided to give it a try by cleaning our green bin. We like that they are eco-friendly and found them to be customer-friendly as well. Signing up for services was a little confusing, but it worked. I was easily able to speak with someone on the phone and now they send text messages, which I find convenient. I signed up for quarterly cleaning of just the green bin. They thought there was a truck in the area and they could do so that day (as long as the bin was still empty). After I signed up, I was informed that the truck was just leaving the area and could they do it the next morning. Fine with me - no need to waste time and fuel. At 7am the next morning, the truck appeared in front of our home and the guy cleaned all three of our bins! I went out to ask him and he said, no worries, he'll just clean the one next time. No additional charge. Very nice people. Nice service (who needs a stinky, dirty green bin attracting critters and flies?). read more

I scheduled a service online and paid $55 for 3 bins to be cleaned. No one ever showed up to service our bins. Very surprising. I have called the company three times and also emailed them two times. A man by the name of a Will agreed to reverse the $55 I was charged during the third phone call I made. He said a "system glitch" was the reason my bins were never cleaned and the company would be upgrading their computers soon to prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, the $55 was never reversed to my credit card. I'll be contacting my credit card company to let them know I was charged for a service never received. Very disappointing. read more

I have to say Bin Cleaners is all that and more! As the owner of several apartment buildings in San Francisco, I loath inspecting my garbage can areas. I saw one of their trucks on the road and found them that way. I wish i had known earlier. Our compost bin was quite filthy ever since we inherited the bin over 3 years ago. I contacted them thru their website and received a response right away saying that they can show up that very same day.
