I HIGHLY recommend this company!! Everything from start to finish was perfect…read more We called another electrician, left a message but never got a call back (which, from what I understand is normal). We found KB Electric online and decided to give them a try. The phone was answered immediately by Alicia who was so helpful, listened to what we needed done and set up an appointment for us immediately, which we were so grateful for. The electric wire going into the house was hanging very low and we realized the attachment on the house (for lack of a better explanation) was hanging off the house. Alicia asked us to send photos and I did with a comment" didn't realize how bad it was". Her response was "I've seen worse" so right off the bat she made me feel better. She asked if we wanted her to send someone to give us a quote, but we didn't want to waste time on that so said no. She quoted us how much it would be per hour (+ materials) and we were very happy with the final price (we felt very reasonable). The 2 electricians were here at 8:30 on a day when it was below 20 degrees!! They did a great job and were in/out in a little over an hour. So happy to know that if we need electrical work done in the future, we have a place to call!!

We even noticed after he left that an outlet on our island that had never really worked magically worked! I would recommend KB and ask for Hector by name!

I can't say how disappointed I am with this company. Every time I go over something that wasn't in…read moremy immediate view, I find something that was carelessly done by this company. Last week I had an exterminator come because a few field mice came into my crawlspace under my son's room. After I put a few mouse hotels in to catch the poor creatures without killing them one or two came back so a friend who wants the exterminating company recommended that since the insulation was roughly 18 years old that I have him take it out and reinstall new insulation. Well, to my surprise after he pulled the insulation out and found several portions that were ripped out and stuffed back in carelessly, he finds at least nine holes that were drilled into beams that were freshly drilled so they weren't a mistake by another company, but he finds one that is so large that the beam that they drilled through is hardly supporting anything, however there are numerous other ones taking up the weight. Only about three weeks ago I had to have them come in and wear their worker installed a electrical box to supply the whole house generator installed. They failed to put a cover on the box and left it wide open where any kid or person reaching in that area, could've grabbed wires Which is a major no no in the business, but I can only blame him because the Hackensack inspector also failed because he didn't get his fat butt into the crawlspace. He just loft and collected his money for the inspection. Now I knew this inspector for years he lived up the street from me on Poplar Avenue and he was obnoxious as could be when he came to do the inspections and it was amazing because this guy was a little tiny mouse when it was on the fire department quiet and stayed all to himself but now since he retired and got a sub coat official job he's a big mouth, arrogant person But back to this company, I should not have to tear my house apart to find out things that they did inappropriately and that's because when their workers came, there was no supervisor with them. They left messes filthy dirty messes everywhere, and never picked up a broom to clean anything, my wife had to keep cleaning up after them so no I would not recommend this company. Unfortunately I had them and it's just unfortunate because every time you call him about something that you find the ignorant girl that answers the phone makes up 20 different excuses to Sunday to defend them, which shows me she's somebody's Patsey so no I don't recommend this company. I would say stay away from them.

All together 11 outlets and 4 new circuits were added. They came right out and within a few hours we had our estimate. They arrived yesterday. Alex and his partner began to work immediately. They involved us in the work asking exactly what we wanted. Professional, friendly and communicative are only a few adjectives I can use to describe them. Their work was flawless. They left all the work areas spotless and were relentless in getting this jib done properly. If you need electrical work done, I wholeheartedly recommend Corbin electrical. I was nearly finished making some renovations to my master bathroom when I decided that I wanted to…read moreinstall recessed lights. My shower door guy urged me to do that before he installs the new shower door. So, I needed an electrician who could install my lights lickety-split. My contractor's electrician, who did the wiring for the heated floor, was too busy to install my lights. Therefore, late Sunday afternoon, I came to Yelp to find a good local electrician, who had the ability to do the job this week. Lucky me: I found Jason Klein. I was immediately impressed with his many great reviews. I used the Yelp platform to create a project SPECIFICALLY addressed to Jason. I explained my urgency to complete the lighting installation this week so that my shower door can be installed next week. Jason responded via Yelp's platform almost immediately. Wow! He said that he could do the project on my timeframe. Long story short, Jason's crew showed-up a little before 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, and they finished before noon. The guys installed 6 new recessed lights (3 in my bathroom and 3 in my closets). They were polite and they did a great job. The icing on the cake is that they were very neat: they wore booties inside (YES!), they laid-down tarps on the floor (Thank you!!) they covered the clothes in my closets with plastic (WooHoo!!!) and they vacuumed (Doing my Happy Dance!!!!). Throughout the process, Jason stayed in contact with me by phone/text, so I knew what was going on and exactly when his guys would arrive. I'm very pleased with Jason Klein Electric and I will definitely use them again. (I'm renovating my kitchen next.) (As an aside, I'm a bit dissatisfied with Yelp's tool for creating "Projects." I thought that I had selected a specific electrician from whom to request a quote. I included my phone number in the details. I was disappointed to find that my Project had been shared with others, who also responded. Some of them did not appear to be licensed electricians. I sent an email to Yelp's Privacy Officer inquiring as to whether that was appropriate. No response yet. No matter. I won't use that Project tool again.)

Two young employees arrived. I asked them to spread a tarp since there would be drywall dust and…read morebits of debris as a result of the planned work. When they put down the tarp, I noticed it was VERY dirty, with tiny pieces of drywall debris on it. I asked them to remove it and then shake it outside. When they lifted it from the floor, I saw that the floor was coated with white drywall dust. So *both* sides of the tarp were dirty. Lack of attention to detail and lack of respect for the client's home. Not ok. At some point I suggested we cover the granite countertop where one of the employees was working to protect it from damage in case a tool should accidentally drop on it. Instead of accommodating my (reasonable) request, he resisted, saying "Nothing will drop". Not ok.
