Service was great very friendly and helpful since it was our first visit we were not sure what to order but staff helped us. I liked the barbecue turkey sandwich and my daughter got the chili cheese with fritos she really liked it. I order a baked potato but I feel that there was something missing in the taste. My husband got meet with chili and cheese and he really liked it. Will be back for sure!

Billy Sims is bomb. I got brisket, pulled pork, a hot link, mac and cheese, and beans and it all tasted great. The included sauce was really good too. The online ordering was easy to use and the food was ready when I arrived. The service was polite and the store appeared clean.

Small place, clean with usually nice staff. Slicked brisket is good and tender. I like their original sauce now, I think they must have improved it. They have option to add meat to sandwiches for an up charge. I chose to sub a salad for my side, it was not worth an additional charge. It was okay, but small. Good place for BBQ.

Chicken/Turkey combo with Potato Salad and Green Beans

Oh wow...I'm so glad my Grandma recommended this place. I'm usually a Rib Crib or Albert G's kinda girl, but I'm not fussy when it comes to good BBQ, and if you know me, you know I will eat anything and at the very least, only semi enjoy it. I just learned today, from a friend in SF, that Billy Sims was a football player for the University of Oklahoma and he even won a Heisman trophy! Woo hoo, so now I like it even more. We both chose the you pick two combo. I had the chicken and turkey, with green beans (yeah, with BACON) and potato salad. My grandma had the ribs and chopped brisket. OMG! I'm glad she was willing to share with me. Don't get me wrong, I like brisket and ribs, but just prefer chicken/turkey over that. Her ribs were to die for, and that potato salad was delicious and at the perrrrfect consistency for potato salad.

Black people BEWARE! I went to this location to pick up an order that my daughter had placed (and paid for) for me (over an hour before I arrived), because she was excited to treat me to a birthday dinner. When I went inside, I was asked if I was Grubhub or DoorDash (I'm not...surprise surprise), coincidentally no other customers were asked that in the time (over an hour) that I waited to get my food...again...over an hour! Also, coincidentally *wink *wink, None of the other customers were Black. Anyway, in the 60 min + that I waited for my order (don't forget that my 3 meat combo, plus one extra meat was paid for over an hour before I even arrived, in case I forgot to mention that), none of the white customers that came in were asked if they were there for Grubhub or DoorDash. Additionally, I watched as all the white customers were told that they had run out of meat that those customers had requested...Even going so far as to take the phone from one customer and offering varying solutions to the person on the other end of the line. I sat patiently as these other customers came and went...It's busy, so why complain?!? But then when it was FINALLY my turn to get my order, I realized I didn't have all the meats my college aged daughter (who is working 2 jobs to pay for school, but insisted on treating me to a birthday dinner, had paid for), I asked (politely, because I made sure to let them know that "I know my place" just like that worker handling my food acted like he expected)...I was told, "I can't give you what I don't have"...No apologies. No explanation. No substitutions. Just a, 'take what you get and shut up' attitude from the worker. That was bad enough, but when my wife decided to leave a Yelp review, the owner of the restaurant decided to make excuses for their bad behavior and comment with the business equivalent of "I have a black friend so I can't be racist" and even went so far as to blame HER for creating division because of our "perception". They acknowledged that they might possibly hire racists, but then basically said that they aren't to blame. They mentioned the video footage of my time in the restaurant, and said they didn't see anything racist or rude. Not even bothering to apologize for the absolutely horrible customer service that was given (even if they thought it wasn't racist). After my wife called them out in her Google review, they updated their Yelp review to say that the single (ignorant and rude) employee that said "I can't give you what I don't have" wasn't racist, and even stated that that he wasn't rude. This location obviously thinks that Blacks are not entitled to decent treatment. This location seemingly feels that Black people should feel privileged just to walk through their door. This location is seemingly ok with hiring racists and will blame the victim and tell US not to create division. This location seems to have a problem from owner to cashier, and it's obvious. I would recommend that Black people spend their money ANYWHERE but here! Shoot...throw it out the window, if you want your money to be more appreciated than it is at this restaurant. If you complain, your review will be met with, "We have a black founder" so we can't be racist, but we all know what that means...And an accusation that WE are causing division (which we all know us code for, "shut up and appreciate that we even let you in). This thought process is what keeps racism alive. This is something we've always had to deal with, but now we don't have to let them use a black face to get our money while they also hide behind it. The days of minstrel song and dance are over. Spend your money at a business that is happy to see you! I have posted my wife's Yelp reviews (that were removed) and both of the owner's responses...The pre AND post Google responses. Plus the Yelp removal.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

What a fantastic little find!…read more We stopped by for brunch as this "Mediterranean-inspired" brunch caught our eye. It lived up to our expectations and exceeded them. The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern. We started with the Smooth Criminal cocktail and the Pineapple Sangria. Both great. Well balanced, unique ingredients, everything you want in a unique cocktail. We did order the whipped feta appetizer, but unfortunately they were very busy and there was some miscommunication. We didn't get to eat it at the restaurant, but they kindly packaged it for us to take home and we enjoyed it later. Although it was good, it would have been way better fresh. But these things happen, it didn't spoil our brunch. On to the mains: lamb shoulder hash...at brunch? Yes, please!!! Topped with two perfectly poached eggs, and brunch potatoes on the side with a nice crisp salad and fresh bread. The lamb was seasoned to perfection, and melted in my mouth. The biggest surprise for me were the potatoes. Brunch potatoes are usually overly greasy and bland. These were fresh, salted, and had the perfect crispness. I would like to think they are fresh, but even if they're frozen...well done! I would have happily eaten 2-3 of these lamb dishes. The French toast was the second entree. Brown butter and maple foam, on top of a piece of French toast that is the size of a small child. Even with all of the sauce, the toast was still crisp. It was a very heavy dish, some fresh berries with some acidity would be nice to cut through it, but the overall flavor was on point. The wine list is exquisite. If you enjoy good wine, this is the spot for you. Their reserve list has some absolute bangers on it at a very reasonable price. All in all, it was a nice experience. We would happily recommend and return.

It was semi warm and it just wasn't what I was expecting. But my father-in-laws wife had it and loved it. So I chose this restaurant because they had fried chicken in the menu. Well, I'm never gonna turn down fried chicken so I ordered it. I included pictures for reference. At first glance I thought they had over cooked it because of its dark color. But as I started eating I realized that they had used a ton of paprika in the batter to give it that dark red amber color. The chicken was good and not overcooked. However, they used a batter for the crust. Much like a Japanese tempura but less garlic. The crust was a hard crunchy shell. The flavor was ok but I just don't care for battered chicken. I also felt like it was cooked too hot. The crust was borderline over cooked but the inside was done. That's just my opinion. They served the chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Both just warm and as my meal progressed the gravy was straight up cold. But I was finished so I powered through. To be fair, the fried chicken was the least expensive entree on the menu. But I'm kind of a fried chicken snob so I'm gonna give it a 6 out of 10. I prob would not order it again, but there were some other things on the menu I am excited to try on our next visit.

Unfortunately, the quality of the service has declined significantly. During our most recent visit, our server rarely checked on us, and we waited over 30 minutes for a salad. We eventually had to ask the hostess if she could check on it for us. When our server finally brought the salad, she told us, "I thought you wanted your appetizer first, and I have another table, so someone else is going to take care of you." The interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive, particularly after we had already been waiting so long with very little attention or communication. To make matters worse, after the long wait and confusion, we were ultimately brought the wrong order. The second server who took over our table was much kinder and more attentive, which we appreciated, but by that point the overall experience had already been disappointing. It's unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed coming here in the past and still think highly of the food, but the service during our recent visits has declined enough that we don't plan to return.

The menu was unexpected yet alluring with comfort and complex rolled into one. Dishes typical like a burger and fries were beautifully elevated in Stone Horses' own way. A word of caution, it is extremely filling and with just the two of us I had to muster my self control to stop eating it. Our service was so helpful, informative and made conversation but not overly so. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The décor and ambiance immediately took our breath away. The warm aroma from the wood-burning oven, the beautiful china, brass menus, unique wall art, and the antique hutch used as the server station created an elegant atmosphere with a classy, jazzy, gypsy-inspired vibe. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and it inspired me to write this review. Our server, Josh, was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every dish and cocktail on the menu, explaining ingredients, flavors, and preparation with confidence. He even shared that he comes in to try each new seasonal menu because everything changes frequently. Knowing they focus on fresh, farm-to-table ingredients for both the food and cocktails makes us even more excited to come back. I started with the jalapeño-infused margarita, and it was absolutely perfect. We began with two appetizers: Chickpea Fries with Whipped Feta & Aioli - 10/10 These were honestly better than traditional fries. Crispy, flavorful, and paired with the most delicious whipped feta and aioli--it completely changed my expectations of what chickpea fries could be. Pork Belly - 8/10 Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, with a savory sauce that elevated every bite. 10-10 For our entrée, we shared the wood-fired ribeye for two, and it was simply outstanding. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare with an incredible crust, every bite had that amazing wood-fired flavor. They served it with a dipping sauce, but honestly, the steak didn't need it. The broccolini had a wonderful smoky char with just the right amount of crunch, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and carried the same delicious wood-fired flavor. -------- Everything from the cocktails to dinner presentation exceeded our expectations. This was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. When we're back in Tulsa, Amelia's will absolutely be one of our first stops, and we'll be recommending it to everyone we know.
