One of the drivers just tried to hit me. The passed me cause the speed limit I guess wasn't fast enough an got in front of me . He proceeded to take up both the lanes to where I couldn't go around him and when I stopped he put his truck in reverse and tried to ram me I then also reversed when going down this dark Snohomish Monroe road there was no where I could go there was no side road I could turn off so I had to proceed forward and again he slammed on his brakes trying to get me to hit him I reversed and as I reversed he reversed with me again trying to ram me he turned on these big spot lights to blind me so I let back and that made him even more mad and he proceeded to try to ram me and reverse and when I would go forward he would slam on his brakes ladies do not call this company these men are way too aggressive if he can try to attack a little old lady like me he's willing to attack anybody I don't recommend the service that nobody read more

Beware! I tried to pull in their driveway in order to arrange a tow for a vehicle at a business a block away. At the instant I turned in, their driver (later identified by a Snohomish Deputy as the owner) shot forward in his truck (while looking down at his cell phone). To avoid a collision, I had to drive w/ one tire across the grass adjacent to the gravel driveway. No landscaping was ruined. The guy jumped out of his truck and began loudly cursing at me and approaching in a threatening manner. I put both hands up and backed out onto the roadway to depart. The guy actually chased me onto the 2 lane road and tried to attack me. Trapped in my truck w/ the window open and unable to accelerate away as I was backing in traffic, I drew a weapon as he reached the window and he retreated. Freak! I called for a deputy. The deputy actually chuckled and told me that the guy (who has a county contract and is familiar to the deputies) is known as a "hothead.". I'll say. read more

This is less of a towing performance review and more of a review of their drivers. My family and I were leaving our neighborhood in Monroe. We entered a traffic circle (giving us the right of way) and this giant truck from Top Notch Towing, designed for towing large commercial vehicles, failed to yield at a 30 to 35 mph. My wife was being attentive and slammed on the brakes and this guy just barreled through with no acknowledgement, or intent to slow. If my wife didn't stop , the size of the truck and the speed would have ended in disaster for myself and my 2.5 year old on the passengers side. I would imagine he wouldn't drive much differently with whatever he's towing and he obviously doesn't know the rules of the road, so yeah avoid these guys if you can. Thanks! read more

I've encountered one of the drivers for this tow truck company. HE ROAD RAGED on I-5, and when I say ROAD raged I mean the scary sort of road rage that I felt endangered everyone on the road way. A couple of weeks ago, my truck was parked at a friend's place and would not start. I called Top Notch and they showed up in about an hour. I was worried that they would damage the surface of my friend's parking lot by dragging my truck sideways to get ahold of it the way it was parked. They lifted the tail of the truck and rolled it straight out without problems and took it to my repair shop coordinating with the shop owner to setup so that the truck could be repaired. This weekend, my truck was in my garage and again would not start. I called Top Notch and they hooked up my truck and pulled it out of my garage. They estimated the distance to the repair shop and charged me so I didn't have to go in with them. They were friendly, easy to work with and reasonably priced and prompt. read more

My friend and I needed our car to be towed around 1 am, and Top Notch arrived within 15 minutes and provided us with prompt and efficient service. My main problem was with the owner, Bill. He was very unprofessional when interacting with my friend and I, making forward comments and advances and pressuring us into hugging him before he left. I'm grateful for the service since we were stranded, but I felt very uncomfortable and am worried that he may be interacting this way with other customers. read more

Last summer my 150 vespa was stolen from downtown Snohomish, I reported it. About 3 months later there was a truck accident near Snohomish and my Vespa was in the bed of the truck with about half the parts stripped off of it. I got a letter from these guys that they had my scooter and it was acruing storage charges. I was out of the country and I was trying to arrange for someone to pick it up and pay the fee but they would only release it to me the registered owner. I was on a work contract so I didnt get back for a couple of months. I figured they had sold the scooter but I called them to be sure. They did have it and I now owed 2300.00 bucks and I Had to pay it or I couldnt get my liscence renued. I paid it and sold the remains of the scooter for 100 bucks. They have a contract with the county to abuse people like me. They are taking advantage of their contract, I wouldnt give them one star but its the only way I can leave a review. If anyone doubts these facts I'll post the canceled check. Avoid this place. read more

If I could rate Bill and his towing company with a negative star I would minus it to the lowest degree. Bill is the reason why most people find tow truck drivers to be jerks. My son was driving my Toyota truck for his work. Had been using for several months. He met up with a friend of his to go watch the Seahawks play at other friends' house. He parked the truck in the Snohomish parking lot on Avenue D near the Post Office. When they left their friends late about 11 PM, they decided it was too late to go all the way back to Snohomish for this truck so they left it overnight. When they return the following day the truck was gone. He called me (as the registered owner) and said the truck had been stolen. I called the police to file a stolen vehicle report. The operator said the truck had been towed and we could contact the towing company for pick up. At that time we believed the truck had simply been towed from the parking lot. I called the towing company, Top Notch Towing, and spoke with Bill. I asked when I could come and pick up the truck and pay the impound fee. He laughed and said that it was not drivable as it had been totaled. It make a longer story short, this is how I found it had been stolen the wrapped around a telephone pole several miles from where it had been parked. While my son was gathering his belongings from the truck I went to bring my car around so he could off load into my car. While I was gone, to accused my son of being the one who wrecked the truck and was trying to get out of it by saying it was stolen. After we left, my son told what Bill had said. This was beyond comprehension! How could someone be so stupid as to accuse someone of something that, 1) was none of his busines and outside is role in this situation), 2) He had no concept of the details (he didn't even talk to the patrol officer how took the report), 3. he knows nothing about my son nor has he ever met him. With several witnesses as to my son's whereabouts when the truck was stolen I am considering a civil suit against this major jerk. Too bad he can't be arrested for being stupid. Stupidity should be painful and he is one of the reasons. This man has no sense of what's his business and what's not business. He is rude, crude, combative, hurtful, hateful and a sad wretch of a human being. I have also filed a complaint with the supervisor of the Snohomish County Sheriff's office on this matter. I was very disappointed in this company. They got called after we were involved in a accident. They towed the car to our shop and if I'm reading the new laws right, we were very over charged and I will be contacting a lawyer on this. Plus the driver did further damage to the vehicle that wasn't damaged at the accident and the police saw and agreed with us on that. Driver said what did you expect. He acted like this was a repo he had to fly thru when it was a accident. Could of taken more time. read more

Came across this company while calling in a road rage complaint as a Tow Truck operator was road raging on I-5. He was actually the owner of the company! This guy has some pretty serious anger management issues and I would advise TO NEVER CALL TOP NOTCH TOWING! Serious ROAD RAGE issues, after I had called the number on the side of the tow truck (which went directly to operator who I was complaining about) he tried to follow us further down I-5 and proceeded to road rage and almost caused an auto accident. read more

I didn't even get a vehicle towed by this company and I never will. Tonight, around 10:30 PM, I was driving down the road and turned onto Machias Road, with plenty of room between the car coming down the road. The car was speeding and came up on me rather quickly. He tailed my until I needed to turn right shortly down the road. I gave the driver plenty of warning with my blinker that I would be turning right, but the driver failed to slow down and swerved into the left lane to get around me, nearly hitting me. Of course I honked because the guy almost hit me. As I turned onto the private road where my boyfriend lives, the driver proceeded to follow my car down the road, which to our surprise came to a dead end (I didn't want him to know where we lived) He got INCHES away from my vehicle, that I had parked. The driver then got out of his tow truck and he started a verbal altercation with my boyfriend, calling us idiots and began swearing at him. Finally the argument came to an end and my bf got back into the car. The driver sat in his truck behind us and did not let us leave for a minute or two. We were terrified, but then he finally left. I will NEVER use this tow company, and I will let everyone else I know also how unprofessional their drivers are. This is ridiculous and I am still scared from this. read more
