Smashed avocado toast with scrambled egg.

I had the smashed avocado toast but chose scrambled instead of poached egg. I loved the combination. I thought "smashed" meant "spread" but it's really more like chopped. Still worked well. Great flavor. Healthy serving. A full breakfast. Fancy plates too!

Natasha was super engaging. She checked on us several times to make sure we are ok and had everything to make our experience amazing. She suggested items she thought we would be interested in from the menu. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant as well. We walked right in and got seated without a reservation for brunch. The host was super nice as well. The food arrived to the table relatively quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

The vegan Wellington was without a doubt one of the top ten meals of my life. They take allergies seriously and have the most comprehensive allergen menu I've ever encountered! As someone with mast cell disease, this is beyond appreciated! I wish I lived nearer, I'd visit weekly- at least! Top waitstaff and manager attention. Highly recommend a visit!

    Blueberry pancakes with bacon

Been here several times - their breakfasts are better than their lunches/dinners as there's more variety and their mains just seem to be rather ordinary and over-priced. I usually get their pancakes with a side of streaky bacon but have noticed that the size of the pancakes are significantly smaller in comparison to when I first got them when the restaurant first opened a few years ago... and they just seem to be getting even smaller every time I order them. My boyfriend also usually gets the porridge and he's noticed too that they've skimped on the portion size. Bill's is good but not exactly value for money, especially since this particular Bill's at Westfield has skimped on their portion sizes - it's actually a bit of a rip off now. I've never tried their mains but we'll probably be going elsewhere for our breakfast fix now!

Oh no, this is sad. Bill's used to be my favourite place and a destination on every trip to Brighton. Fast forward a few years and now there seems to be a Bill's at all the most boring corners of London. I'm just not a fan of turning a winning formula into a chain - it hardly ever works without destroying what made the original place special in the first place. Unfortunately, Bill's at Westfields proves this point. Stacks and stacks of colourful packaging and industrial lampshades just aren't all that unusual or special anymore; and it's diffidult to create an individual atmosphere in a big square space tagged onto a shopping mall. Mind you, Bill's does a better job than most which is what tempted us to stay on Southern Terrace in the first place (rather than venturing into Shepherds Bush itself). Unfortunately, we were fifteen minutes too late for the brunch menu - what a shame they don't offer an all-day breakfast option, it's easy to lose all sense of time in a shopping precinct! So, chosing from the lunch menu was second best from the start. My friend and I both opted for the mac 'n' cheese main which sounded like just the sort of comfort food a rainy day in January calls for. What a disappointment!! It's not that difficult to make a simple pasta dish taste good - or is it?! Bill's version was bland - the addition of butternut squash and spinach was a sad joke and didn't deserve its special mention on the menu; we literraly found two bits of squash and a maximum of half a dozen spinach leaves each.

Great breakfast spot. Popped in here twice during out stay in London. Had the buttermilk and blueberry pancakes with bacon both times, with a side order of poached eggs one day and sunny side eggs the next. . Aces. Both times.

    Skinny burger

The dinner we had at Bill's in Westfield London was okay. I ordered the skinny burger which came with salad which is lighter than having the full burger. But the fish and chips that we ordered is better else where in London. We all thought the fish was slightly over-cooked, as the battered on the fish was more of a dark goldern brown than a golden yellow. Otherwise the service at the Westfield London branch was good.

Not great food, not bad food. Not great service, not bad service. Everything was pretty mediocre, but I don't really have any harsh feelings towards the restaurant. We were a group of 7 and they were able to accommodate us quickly. We got a table within seconds so that was nice--and everything else was just whatever. If someone brought me back, I wouldn't complain, but I wouldn't jump for joy either.

Patchy service can't dampen my enthusiasm for this top place…read more The manageress is a surly, miserable git who barks orders at her rushed but sweet staff and can't be bothered to raise a smile herself. She either had a raging hangover or she just hates her job. We went for brunch on fathers' day and I ordered a full English. It was delicious but after I quaffed the lot I spied someone else's full english with a big fat juicy sausage on it. I had been deprived. Miss Surly took £2 off the bill but promptly added five more on the machine. Luckily we checked the tab. Surly Bollocks mumbled some sort of excuse and corrected it. An apology would have been a sign of weakness or defeat. What else? Butter for my toast came only after I asked three times. And my second pot of tea came without a lid. They simply didn't have any more! Frankly I can live with all that for an excellent full English . Even without the sausage I enjoyed it immensely - good black pudding is always a sign of real quality. And the milkshakes are A1. Served in dinky little milk bottles and tasting delicious and malty. All served in a place that doesn't seem to be trying to be cool at all, and is therefore achingly thus. The back room opens out nicely. It's relaxed and charmingly kitted out with sweet arty bits denoting the local area and its the venue's music hall history. Ask for a booth, they are comfy and spacious. Just don't ask the grumpy one. She'll hurrump and react like you asked for your shake to be served in the Holy Grail.

So make sure and have napkins handy. My husband had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich while I had the cheeseburger for breakfast since the "slut" specialty sandwich wasn't available. My husband said his sandwich reminded him of one his mom used to make at home growing up, which is a lovely sign. Mine was a slightly above an average burger with a touch of dijonnaise and pickles. We also had a side of the truffle hash browns and they were great! Just a classic, crispy hash brown with a hint of truffle flavor. I hope to try another sandwich before my trip ends. But if I don't, I'm pretty happy with my experience!

Love Love Love Love!!…read more I missed my opportunity to visit Egg Slut in Vegas so I was not only shocked but over the moon to try it in the UK! The line is long. Very long. Almost never-ending long and there is barely any seating upstairs or downstairs but never fear because outside directly infant of the store also has no seating lol My husband and I crossed the street after getting our food and sat on the benches outside. We absolutely loved every aspect of the meal. The sandwiches were filling and jammed packed with flavor. The price was average for the area and the hash browns are the best I have ever tasted. I cannot wait until I visit Egg Slut again
