They communicated very well and I was able to get this done a day earlier than planned as they had a schedule change. Sure freed up my weekend. For moving pool tables, these guys do this all day long and they are great and have a great price. I had been looking at tables for months on Craigslist and Dan was nice enough to offer to look at the links I sent him and gave me honest assessments of the tables to help me find the perfect table! When I finally found a slightly used Olhausen table, he was able to schedule the move fast! The seller was nervous having someone move the table who he wasn't familiar with, but after seeing the professionalism and experience of Dan and Daniel he was commenting how great they were. They took the table apart and had it loaded up in only 20 minutes! The set up, new felt, and new pockets at my place went very smoothly and they answered all of my questions. I called and spoke to Dan on a Saturday and told him I wanted to buy a pool table at an estate sale . He said he could move it on Tuesday . When I went to buy the table the next day, Sunday , they said it had to be out of the house that afternoon . House was closing Monday . My hopes were dashed for getting the table. I called Dan that same Sunday morning and he said his partner was not available but he'd do it for a few more dollars if I helped. He drove from Chandler to Scottsdale and he was there exactly at the 2:00 time. He disassembled the table and I helped him load the 3 piece slate top and base into the truck. It went to my house and we unloaded and brought it all in and he put it together like magic. Billiards 2U moved and installed our table in May and did a wonderful and professional job that we contacted them first when we decided to re-felt our table this month. The owner was incredibly responsive and very accommodating, sharing color samples via text message and providing great feed back when I asked questions. The installers were the same ones who perform the move for us earlier so it felt like seeing old friends come over. They were very quick, friendly and did an amazing job. There was a bit of an upsell, but it was just confirming what we had already thought, that the bumpers needed a refresh too. They had the parts necessary in their van and didn't even have to blink. I was looking for someone to move a pool table I bought through Facebook while I was still living in Florida. I called this company and the gentleman I spoke to who I don't recall now was very nice and gave me so much information about the process. I set up the pick up for 2 weeks out. On the day of pickup I got a call confirming the time they would be arriving at the sellers house and then another one 30 minutes before. The guys that later arrived at my house with my new table were so friendly and took that time to try out different locations to place my table until I was happy. They arrived on time on both days, finished both moves (out of the room and back into the room) quickly (less than an hour for both moves). The gentlemen were polite, professional and thorough. Just purchased a pool table and called Billiards 2U in the AM to schedule the move. Dan not only answered the phone but was able to do the move within an hour. His guys, Daniel and Parish showed up in the truck and took the table apart promptly and professionally and placed it in the truck ever so carefully. They really know what they are doing - they disassembled the table like clockwork The slate table is actually in 3 pieces and they removed the screws and the old plaster that was used as a sealant. They had to take off the felt and side pockets and all of the old staples and removed the bumpers, The set up went flawless as well as they leveled the table very carefully and used beeswax to fill the cracks and cover the screw holes. The felt was stretched and looked better that the original as they hid all of the staples. They also were able to hook me up with balls and cue sticks as they carry inventory. They took a personal check and were on their way - total time about 2 hours. I highly recommend these guys for your pool table move and they also will replace the bumpers and felt as well.
