Travis, himself, is an avid pool player and was able to give me advice as I was searching for a good table at fair price. Some brands are built a lot better than others. He was able to give me pointers on the aspects of the table to test, i.e. items that would be expensive to replace. He's very knowledgeable and was very helpful in the selection process. The day of the move, he and his son, disassembled and moved it from Rancho Bernardo to Normal Heights. I don't have a huge open space, so he advised me on the best location to put the table in for maximum play-ability. It was leveled and re-felted with care, and it's a beautiful addition to my home. Let me just start with we absolutely love our "new" pool table. I contacted Travis at the beginning of the year and asked him to meet up with my father in law and I to go over our plan for our new game room. He came out checked out our frequently used pool table which was located in the garage. This table got pretty good use being in there but we cleared out our lower living room so we could use us more often. We scheduled a time and date with Travis and he and his son did a more than excellent job. Our table was completely redone from new bumpers to new felt. It's beautiful and the perfect fit for your game room. Travis had the ever so daunting task of impressing my father. But red (my father in law, who we nick named red after the dad on that 70s show) was extremely impressed. He even reaches out to Travis a week later to tell him "I have been looking for a flaw in the table, and I can't find one" . So that is why I'm here on yelp. Travis was great. I called him up to set up a pool table and he was friendly and happy to help. Offered to come out the next day and did a great job setting up my pool table. From the moment Travis arrived he was professional and careful with my table and with my house. He told me my table was in great shape and despite being +15 years told me the rubber and felt was in good condition and didn't try to up-sell me to replace it. Like most homeowners I needed a moment to decide exactly where I wanted the table. These tables are big and most of us don't have large dedicated rooms. Travis plays, but understood that for many this is for fun and us homeowners need to balance the table with it fitting in the house. Travis made recommendations and was even willing to wait while I checked with others in my family. In the end he was more than happy to set it up the best way that worked for me and my home. If I were ever to move the table I would call Travis again without a moments hesitation. But since I probably won't be doing that, let me tell you that you should! I just had the pleasure of meeting Travis and his son Anthony. I picked up a table off Craigslist and wasn't sure what to expect. I had Travis put the table together for me and re-felt it. They did an amazing job. They didn't just throw it together and take off. The table is PERFECTLY level and all the seams where the slate meets are non existent. Very professional. My rails were poorly installed by another party leaving a loose fit with the pockets and the felt was wrinkled in one area. Travis came over and the table is more than what I expected.
