Not only was a drink extra thick but the flavors were just perfect and they really know how to adjust the sugar levels. I'm not a huge fan of super sweet, and they nailed my drink. The entire storefront is pretty small and definitely more of a grabbing place but everything looks super clean and the people are pretty kind. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. He gave us two fritelles and I also got a sugar free hazelnut latte and my fiance got a cannoli. They had a variety of syrups for lattes. My latte tasted just right because I didn't want anything sweet. The fritelle was good but had too much crème filling for me. If you liked really filled donuts then you'd like these. I thought personally it was too rich. The cannoli was a small size but a nice sweet treat. It was a nice experience with great service. We look forward to coming back.
