Love her cookies! So yummy. They always taste fresh. Her chocolate ships cookies are my favorite. Had a lemon cake it was phenomenal.

Sometimes you stumble upon a place purely by accident and it ends up being the best surprise. That…read morewas me after finishing an early appointment near by. I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!

For me…read moreit's a little bit of a drive but well worth it because they make amazing drinks, have tasty small bites and the staff are always super nice here. I'm happy to see that Azuki is busy and as popular as ever. I came mid afternoon and this spot was stacked busy with high schoolers aka I felt old lol. But it's a welcoming spot for all walks of life and people to hang. Small inside but they do have a few tables and some bar top seating. Also two tables outside. More a takeaway place but if you want to sit and converse with a friend, you do have that option. Staff here are always super nice and lovely. Very welcoming, kind people work here. They always seem pretty well staffed too. When I came in I saw 3-4 people behind the counter I believe. Appreciated this as your drinks and bites come out relatively quickly. Service 5/5. I genuinely love their bobas, teas and small bites. This time around I was able to try both their lychee on lychee fresh tea and then a blended dreamberry with boba. Both were fabulous. Boba was fresh and drinks were refreshing. They have a few small bites here from pastry like dishes to chicken and spam musubi. I went with the spam dish - took about five minutes to make (which they told me in advance which was appreciated) and it was a tasty little snack when I'm feeling too lazy to make it for myself. Prices here are reasonable and comfortable to any boba shop really. I come here because the drinks are good, staff are nice, the decor is cute and it's a clean well kept establishment. Happy to continue to support them and I hope you'll give them a try.

Hey, I'm a Dad and Dad jokes are what we Dads do best! Alright enough shenanigans. I'm going to attempt something different here. I am going to write this review using common COW IDIOMS. Wait! You don't know what a Cow is?? Well, It's a four-legged mammal from the Bovidae Family, also known as Cattle. They can produce milk and are the Main source of Beef. Fun Fact: Some eateries even using "cows" as their Mascot. Oh, you weren't talking about the Cow, you wanted to know what an Idiom was... my Bad lol. Well, An Idiom is "a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words." Thank You Google for that definition! And after reading what an Idiom was, apparently I didn't know what it actually meant either... haha Anywho... Let's "Take this Bull by the Horns" and get this review of Little Calf Creamery and Cafe on the road. Without a doubt, The "Cash Cow" to this little local establishment is probably not the CAFE part, but my guess, it's the CREAMERY half of the business. I mean, who doesn't Love Ice Cream??? Scoops, Sundaes, & Sandwiches all loaded with your favorite creamy dessert?? Yes, Please!! And trust me, every time I come here with my kids, They are "Like a Bull at a Gate" trying to get to the front of the line to place their order for their favorite flavor of Ice Cream. My first thought, slow your roll kids. Dinner first, then we can discuss Dessert. Fast forward to when we get our food.... Some of what I'm about to say is TRUE, but the rest may or may not be "Bull$h1t" that I just made up.... Kid #1 (the oldest): "Daddy, they put ketchup on my hamburger; I didn't want ketchup" Me: "Here's a napkin, just wipe it off" Kid #2 (the middle child): "Daddy, I'm full" Me: "Take 2 more bites please." 8 seconds later.... Kid #2: "Can we get Ice Cream now?" Me: I thought you were full. Kid #2: I took my two bites, how bout that Ice Cream? Kid #2: One Daddy: Zero Kid #3 (she's the baby): "Daddy, I pooped" Me: (to my wife) "hey Babe, I love you...." My Wife: (without skipping a beat) "Diapers are in the car" Me: Yes, dear (lol) Well that's settles that. And I know what you are all thinking... "Holy Cow!" That was close one! Hey, I'm not ready to "Buy the Farm" over no diaper change... I haven't even had my Ice Cream yet. ;) Ok, ok I know it feels like you have been waiting "until the cows come home" for my opinion of this place on whether or not it's worthy of a visit. Hey! No need to "Have a Cow", cause here it is.... Little Calf Creamery and Cafe is a fun little local shop in Thousand Oaks that serves up delicious Ice Cream with some familiar flavors and also some flavors that will spark your interest... -Moorpark Road (their take on Rocky Road) -Roasted Coffee!! -Witches Brew...Spooky!! In addition to their Ice Cream, they've got lunch and dinner covered so you can take a break from the kitchen... And doing the dishes for that matter! Last visit, the favorite food item rated by the kids and by me.... Their Kids menu Chicken Tenders and Fry Basket! All I can say.... "Holy Cow"... We are definitely coming back for more of those bad boys. Until Next time... There is "No Cow On Ice" Cause Little Calf in T.O. has got everything under control.

It's a small, charming café with a cozy atmosphere, featuring old-school car collectibles displayed on a shelf that add a unique touch. They also offer outdoor seating where you can enjoy your desserts surrounded by lush greenery, natural foliage, and a peaceful little waterfall pond. The service was great as well, they were friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. suggested I definitely I ended up picking up a chocolate and hazelnut cake with an incredibly soft, spongy interior that was perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

We were greeted right away, and we let one of the people working there know we wanted to take a look around as it was our first time stopping in, which was okay. The shop itself was empty. We took a look at the ice cream selection, the full cakes, and then the pastries. Everything looked really good. We decided on a chocolate trilogia pastry and a red velvet pastry to go. The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item. The service was great, but as a red velvet lover, the flavor was not as expected. I would potentially try again but would sample some other treats.

Most places serve it in a paper cup where the espresso and gelato just blend into a mushy mess. Not here. Carrara's presents it beautifully on a stone tray, with a proper espresso cup and a transparent glass so you can actually see the layers of gelato and espresso. I got a large Kauai smoothie and it isn't bad, coconut water, pineapple, strawberry, and banana in a large (24oz) and it tastes like crunchy coconut water.
