Poor After purchase customer service and apparent "shady" practices. So, I test drove a 2011 Nissan Titan sitting in the lot (pretty truck). During the test drive, found that the A/C was not blowing cold air. I then left the dealership with my wife and continued on our way, keeping the Titan in mind. A couple weeks later we went back to the dealership and looked at the Titan again. The Salesperson (nice guy) stated that the A/C had been fixed. We test drove it again and it did in fact blow cold air. After some thought, we purchased the truck for $22,000. Not a bad price. I did have to pay for two new tires and pay to have them installed at the dealership. When we left the lot, I took my family for a drive in the new truck and picked up some Sonic. As we pulled up to the parking lot I turned the A/C off. We then heard a plastic grinding sound (plastic gears). I did some troubleshooting of my own, and low and behold about 10 minutes later I pretty much narrowed it down to the front vent, when on, initially grinds turning it on and off. I contacted the dealership about this. 48 hours after I purchased the truck I dropped it off at the dealership to have the new tires installed and have the A/C Looked at. The following day I called for a status report and they stated the tires were on and it was getting detailed. No mention of the A/C. When I asked about the A/C, the Service manager said they didn't even look at and passed me off to the Sales manager who then said that the A/C was not their problem. After having what I thought was a good conversation, he wasn't budging. When I picked the truck up, my sales person came to me and stated that the sales manager offered to pay $200 of the $850 replacement of the vent actuator. I called the local Nissan dealership who stated that there are actually 3 actuators that it could be. The prices for the three part including installation are as follows. 650, 750, and 850. If they didn't look at it and they did their inspection on the vehicle (before putting it on the lot) how did they not know that this was an issue but knows how much it is going to cost to fix? Either way. 48 hours later I have a $22,000 truck with a broken A/C and it is all my problem. I asked if they wanted the truck back and guess what? He said "NO"!!! read more
