I went to Yakima last week to visit a friend for the weekend. Upon leaving I broke down on the side of the road near Naches. To make matters worse it was Sunday morning and I was very limited on resources to get me back home safely. I took a chance with Bilko Towing and spoke to the dispatcher. She was professional and didn't play in to my stupidity when I didn't know what mile marker I was at. LOL I received a towing truck a couple hours later as expected. The driver tried to help me see if we could get the vehicle started. However, with no such luck. We towed it back to Yakima. I can't say enough praise for Bilko Towing as a few days later, I found out I needed some extensive repair on my vehicle. They told me back to from Yakima to Tacoma. I only paid a fraction of the cost alongside AAA who I recommend as well. I'm happy to say I'm home safe along with my vehicle. Also a huge thanks to Mike. I couldn't recommend Bilko towing enough. They are the best! Last Sunday night (8/13/18), my wife and kids minivan broke down just outside of Ellensburg. We called AAA for towing and I had to drive out to Ellensburg, 97 miles, since the tow truck can only carry 2 passengers (we had 3). After 2 hours of waiting, I discover AAA had no one coming to help us. Only one star for them since they could have informed us after the first hour, it was 10:30 and pitch black at night. Anyway, once I discovered that AAA couldn't find anyone, I changed the request to local towing to Ellensburg instead of towing to home. Bilko towing responded within 10 minutes. Bernie, the tow truck guy was awesome. He was most courteous and helpful. He even suggested he could leave the car on his trailer and take it to our mechanic (97 miles) the next morning since our AAA plan allowed for this. Beau, my partner and I were stranded in Ellensburg after deciding to follow a crow down the highway to our next surprise destination. Moments after making this decision, the oil pan was pierced and the car was quite literally telling us to stop driving. Some would call this unlucky, and there might've been a time where I would have done the same. But after being surrounded by Love and support every. single. step of the way. I feel a gratefulness I was unsure still existed before this past weekend. Now Beau, ya swept us up, travelled with us back home, and made us laugh the whole way there. On the journey back, I couldn't help but feel a great sense of relief within your presence, and a great sense of joy within the memories you chose to share with us about your life along the way. I was stranded on I90, this past Sunday 4/30/23 the road side service was excellent, the gentle was really helpful, kind, knowledgeable & efficient. got my tire changed straight away, put in a great deal more effort to make sure everything was secure; the side step on my truck had been damaged severally. The tool to let down the spare tire was pretty difficult to operate, a little less than perfect, however, he persevered & got it done, with the best possible jovial attitude. After the tire was successfully changed, the truck wouldn't start, he called the dispatch, they contacted AAA, they got a tow truck to me as soon as possible. The tow truck operator Kris showed-up got me onboarded & on to my home, when we got to my home, he told me he thought he might know why my truck wouldn't start, he told me about a kill switch, he found it under my dash, flipped the switch, it started right up! Our Ford Ranger got a tire blowout as exiting I-90 onto Canyon Road. When driver Kris came within 15-30 minutes of contacting AAA. We were expecting to only need a tire change but upon removal of the damaged tire/rim, Kris noticed that a break caliper bolt had broken off and ripped it's way through the tire and rim. (We had just had new brakes installed that week near to our primary home over 100 miles away). Kris was respectful, knowledgeable, and accommodating in getting our vehicle loaded onto the truck and getting us to a safe place to wait our almost 3 hours for our daughter to come and pick us up. The mountain pass conditions were not safe for several days to get the Ranger back to our break mechanic's shop and when it was finally brought back near our home (by Kris' colleague, Michael), everyone at Bilko was kind, concerned, and professional. BEAU KNOWS TOWING!!!!! If you're ever knocked off the road on White Pass on Christmas Eve in a snow storm, one of your first calls should be to Bilko Towing, and if possible, you should ask if Beau is in the area. "Bilko Beau" came to our rescue in the above scenario, which also included our two dogs and a bunch of Christmas presents for our niece's kids. Our dogs, Sunny and Gianni, were finally able to relax once we were headed down the mountain in the cab of the flatbed because of Beau's calming demeanor and his reassuring words to them. He helped my husband and I relax a little more, too, and he dropped all of us off to get some wheels at a car rental agency in Yakima. I will always remember how this scary experience was tempered by Beau's compassion and professionalism, how his good humor comforted me and my husband, and how his gentle nature eased the stress in our dogs. Our car broke down with our two young kids in Yakima on our way home from visiting family in Spokane. We we're barley off the white line on the highway and it was a vary scary situation and spot to be. Mike called promptly and put us all at so much ease. He was very kind, funny and personable. He made sure we were safe and asked about our kids too. Once he got there and was even better in person! He was so helpful and took us to a safe spot to be able to take things out of our vehicle and transfer it into her mother-in-law's car. He even helped us unload things and gave the kids treats while we were moving things. It was by far the best experience we've ever had with a towing company and driver! Bernie is amazing! My car broke down on the freeway an hour east of Ellensburg. My car has never broken down before and I was scared and anxious to say the least. Bernie arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Took care of my car and put me at ease. We chatted the whole ride back to Ellensburg (where the nearest mechanic shop was). When we arrived at the shop, the mechanics were about to head to lunch, but Bernie made sure they took my car and processed everything they needed before they went to lunch. I can't say enough about the service I received this evening from Bilko towing. I'd been told by two road-side assistance services I have that they couldn't send someone to help with my flat tire because of the remote location. The dispatch at Bilko took the time to look into where I was and said they'd send a truck. Mike and his assistant went above and beyond bringing their truck several miles on a rough unpaved road, in the dark, to help me out of a self-induced jam. I've never been so happy to see headlights headed my way, and I absolutely can't say enough about the customer service I received from Bilko, from dispatch to making sure I made it back to the paved highway on my spare. My car wouldn't start. I have AAA, and Bilko Towing answered the call. I was grateful because I had always heard good things about them. Terry J was awesome! He explained that he should test the battery, instead of just jumping it, because I might be calling, stuck somewhere (luckily I was parked at my apartment). So he hooked the tester up to the battery and showed me the readings. Nothing. I had already prepared myself for needing a battery. He installed a new battery, and told me that it's covered by warranty for 3 years. He gave me my receipt, and just like a Dad he said "Now, you keep that in the glovebox". Beau was not only fantastic, as was his company, his quick response and his kind, cool & respectful service but being stranded with a camping trailer after water pump blew in my 2014 Ford Escape, Beau & his company owner also gave green light to tow my camping trailer on back of his tow truck once my Escape was loaded up top !!! Our motorhome blew a rod just south of Goldendale and AAA sent Ken with the appropriate tow truck to haul us back to Yakima. Ken was fantastic and even phoned his wife to set up a room at the Super 8 for us. He dropped my wife off at the Super 8, waited until she had a room, then drove me to the shop for a diagnosis. After dropping off the dead motorhome at the auto shop he then drove me back to the Super 8 and waited until he was assured we had a room for the night. Ken was the most friendly and competent guy I have met in a long time. He showed his concern for us all the time and knew we needed good help as we are from Summerland up in Canada. My experience with Bilko Towing was top notch. They responded faster than my road side assistance. The dispatch person was very responsive and friendly at 3:00 AM. Sitting in my car in a desolate location when my battery died and my car wouldn't turn over in below freezing weather. The dispatch person said she would get someone to me as soon as possible. I really appreciated the service when my car broke down due to a bad alternator. Bernie was the driver and he identified it quicker than any of my friends could come up with a reasonable explanation. I also appreciated that even thoughit had been a long day, Bernie still showed excellent customer service to me, giving me his business card if I couldn't find someone to fix my car. So impressed by my experience using Bilko! They were referred by my mechanic when I asked who to call. And that call did not disappoint! They promptly answered and towed my car within the hour. Mike was AWESOME! We have a steep driveway and he didn't want to scratch it with his truck so he checked my car's oil (the issue for my car being towed in the first place) to make sure there was enough so he could back my car down the drive so he could load it up safely. I accidentally locked my keys in my trunk at the Ginko Petrified Forest/Wampanum Interpretive Center in Vantage just as we were about to go on a ranger-led nature hike. Why they don't list an address for their Interpretive Center is beyond me, but never mind because KRIS CAME TO THE RESCUE, knew exactly where we were, and arrived within a half-hour. I'm not super fussy about my old-ass European car, but Kris was, and he delicately shimmied his tools without scratching anything on my driver's side door and got me in in a snap. I called AAA today for vehicle assistance and Bilko Towing was sent. I was informed that my wait could be up to two hours. I received a phone call from Bo at about 40 minutes into the wait time and he said he was headed my way and shared where he was coming from. I appreciated his communication and he met me and my vehicle at the stated location. Bo was very friendly and helpful in jump starting my vehicle.
