So, I decided to visit Les Schwab Tire Center on 1st street in Yakima while I was visiting. I explained my concerns and was told they would assign someone to look at my brakes as soon as they could. Their store was swamped though. It looked like everyone picked that day to have work done on their cars!! I had to wait about an hour for someone to look at my truck. That's how busy they were! Thankfully they had a little waiting area with a tv tuned to American Ninja Warrior, free popcorn, and a drink and snack vending machines. Eventually an employee sought me out to explain that my brakes were ok. They were just heating up. I was also informed that my rear brakes were getting close to needing a replacement , but the front brakes were ok. For now. I was very impressed that they didn't try to talk me into any repairs and were straightforward with me. I will seek out a Les Schwab when it is time for me to replace my brakes!

Talked with them on the phone before I dropped off the car. Advised them that my car has wheel spacers and the very nice woman on the phone let me know that it would be okay "we will figure it out, you're fine." Set and appointment for 11am today. 11/26/2025 Car was dropped off and they had it all day while I was at work. 11am -5:35pm. I called them at 2:53pm to check on how things were going. If they had any questions, concerns or issues. Call log shows where i spoke with them for 2 min and 36 seconds. They let me know "it's in line for tires right now. It will be done by 5pm." GREAT!!! I get off work at 5 and arrive at 5:30 to pick up my car, I'm excited. I've always loved Les Swabs and their customer service, specifically the Selah location, they've been amazing. Pulled into the parking lot and my car hasn't been touched. Same rims and tires on the car that were on it when It was dropped off. When I go inside they had the make, model and year of the car wrong. They had 1999 vw Passat. It's a 2001 Audi a4 Quattro which is what I told them twice over the phone. They didn't have a clear idea of what was going on with it. To give them the benefit of a doubt, I asked them if it was done. They told me "yes it should be." Then they asked the mechanics, the mechanic said "we can't work on it because it has wheel spacers." I asked them why they didn't call me or something to let me know. They told me "we called you at 2:53pm" I showed them my call log showing where I was the one who called them at 2:53pm. They never called me. This is absolutely unacceptable. I bought the car with wheel spacers on it. They're installed because of the break caliper upgrade done to the car prior to me buying the vehicle. Without the wheel spacers the rims will contact the calipers front and rear. They're not willing to help and now I'm stuck not knowing what to do. Called a couple shops around Yakima to see who may be able to help. Firestone didn't understand why they wouldn't work on it seeing as they do that kind of work regularly and do not discriminate on wheel spacers. Hello Firestone. I'm sad to be leaving Les Swabs, they've been my go to since I could drive and the only tire shop I've recommended to everyone I know. This is tragic. I hope no one has this experience as it has not been a good one.

20 hours ago New Got…read morea flat and had to buy 4 new tires to make it home to Spokane. Firestone was unfortunately the only option since it was a Sunday. Hours after they said the vehicle would be ready, we can finally head out. Two hours later one of the BRAND NEW TIRES blew leaving us stranded on the side of the road. So after spending over $700 for the tires, we also got to pay $450 to tow the vehicle the rest of the way home. Dealing with the store we bought the service from sucked. Dealing with the area manager was BARELY more helpful. Even if it's Sunday, I'd wait it out until Monday to go ANYWHERE else. I now feel stuck with these tires and I don't feel safe on the road, but i can't afford to purchase another set since I already bought these out of desperation.

The parking lot was full and the only spot for her to park was a tight angled spot that had to be reversed into. I naturally got out and asked my wife if she wanted me to do it to ease some stress from the situation. She said sure and I parked her car for her. The employees start making fun of her to each other while I go and park my car around the block. Saying "wow she can't park herself" and other rude comments. We drive away without saying anything. Get a call about 10 mins later with them saying "you told me 50 not 55 for the tire size, we don't have used tires in that size". When scheduling this tire change I read the tire size off the wheel to 2 separate employees and they still can't seem to get the tire size correct. Not only did they disrespect my wife right in front of her they can't even do their jobs right remembering one number. I understand human error but the disrespectful comments are over the line. They had to use another jack to lift my car off the first jack. This one slipped in the GRAVEL and dented my front fender to the point where the passenger door would not open! I called to speak with them and was told, "just pull it in here and I will fix it." I refused of course, so Todd said, "Take it up with my insurance." When we contacted their insurance it turns out they gave us their personal auto insurance information instead of a business insurance...so we were forced to take them to small claims court. What a nightmare...how do they work under no insurance??? Word is not good my friends...be careful out there.
