This is a service industry right? Okay if you think not, best not press on. The mechanic (the guy who does all the work) is a nice guy. He shoots straight and knows what he is doing. The guy at the front desk is a self indulged douche bag that thought he was talking to a three year old. I nicely asked on top of doing some modification and maintenance on my bike if they could also check my tire pressure and I gave him the rating out of the harley davidson manual. He fought me tooth and nail saying it was the 'max load' rating on the side of the tire. Finally the mechanic told him he was crazy and I went home and got the g-d d---ed book and showed him. The guy at the front desk also ignored me when I came in to get my bike and there was a custom touch that I had them put on my bike that he did not convey well enough to the mechanic that didn't get done right. He tried to upsell me on parts I know I didn't need and kept saying 'well if your bike blows up it's not my fault.' Hey asshole, 9,xxx miles down and I would still hit you in the face if I ever saw you again. In the end would I send a buddy there? Or my own bike? Fuck no Would I send my worst enemy there? Maybe, I might not be that cruel. I wish I would have done more research and paid a little more attention to where I was taking it. I got treated like dirt and that is the review they get. Just like with cars, the best trait you can find in a motorcycle repair shop is honesty. The guys at The Biker Shack are top notch. They're knowledgable, extremely helpful, and of course, honest. They have your, and your ride's, best interests in mind always. They have given me excellent, accurate advice on various issues and concerns with my Harley, and sometimes it didn't cost me a dime to resolve. That doesn't happen when you go to the dealership. The selection is pretty good as far as Harley parts. If they don't have it when you stop in, they can order it and have it in a couple days. Their prices are competitive. For most items, I wouldn't have been able to do any better ordering the parts online myself, and who knows if I would have ordered the right part! The location is easy to find and has ample off-street parking, and the atmosphere is great, too. There is a helicopter inside (seriously!) and a friendly shop dog who loves people. I go the extra 10 miles to stop by The Biker Shack whenever I need anything for my Harley. Hell, if I'm in the neighborhood (perhaps at Alpine Beer Co), I'll stop in and shoot the shit. I now take my bike to get serviced at Biker Shack. I'm a retired military guy who wants the best for my money. I also want a company that doesn't bs me and Bobby doesn't. From my experience, he knows his stuff and he's very respectful. My daughter lives near and I drop my bike off for servicing, I visit my daughter and back on the road in a enough time to where I don't over stay my welcome with my daughter and son-in-law. How convenient is that! The shop is neat and clean, and the dog is cool. I plan on having some additional stuff done to my bike soon and I'm looking forward to more power and noise. Great service and attention to detail. I rolled in on a Saturday. H.D. had helped me before both on the phone and in person when he repaired my clutch master cylinder. This time I started my ride from Descanso down the hill to actually get tires installed on the scooter at a competitor. I needed some better gloves. So I stopped by Biker Shack. Speaking with H.D. I quickly realized he had my tires in stock. I didn't ask price. I wanted to spend my money with him. We set a time later that afternoon. I showed up on time. While he was working on bike he noticed rear shocks were not mounted and adjusted correctly and muffler loose and pads needed. He let me know all issues as they arose. He was able to make the repairs. Had the pads in stock. I couldn't be happier with this buisness and the owner. My Street Glide rode better than it ever had in the past. Thanks H.D. When I meet someone who knows what the hell is going on I know it, so if you ever have a question or need work done this is the place. But if you want cheap or "your Answer" look somewhere else, because these guys do it right or not at all. They get all my work and I highly recommend them to all my friends. read more

Dude these guys have helped me so much through the years with free advice. They have worked on my Road Glide a couple times as well. Very honest and down to earth people. There is no attitude in this shop. And they do good work. I got my bike Dyno'd by HD (the mechanic) and it runs like a bat outta hell. If I ever need a little part like a fastener or some off the wall thing, if they have it around, they give it to me. Who does that anymore? I buy all my parts and oil from them and they have saved me a bunch of money just in advice alone on what to buy. How many guys that work in bike shops build helicopters? Yeah these guys built a friggin helicopter. Talk about sharp. I can't say enough. I know NOTHING about Harleys....and I took in my Dad's Harley in that had been sitting in my garage for 7 years! (my Dad is deceased)....they could have easily screwed me...but I received exceptional work and a very low price....very impressed!
