Berlin is a bicycle haven, and it's important for you to find a good repair shop when an avid rider. This bicycle repair shop, is a GEM in the middle of Krutzberg. A multi-language shop owner that knows his stuff. Provides quotes for customers before you head out, and still beats other competitors with the lowest prices. Ali (shop owner) was quick, honest, and knowledgable about bike locks as well. There were other closer shops to my residence, but I MUST admit, Ali and Bikefix was well worth the commute. Berlin ist ein Fahrradparadies, und es ist wichtig, als begeisterter Fahrer eine gute Werkstatt zu finden. Diese Fahrradwerkstatt ist ein Juwel mitten in Krutzberg. Ein mehrsprachiger Ladenbesitzer, der sich auskennt. Bietet Kunden Angebote, bevor Sie losfahren, und schlägt andere Mitbewerber mit den niedrigsten Preisen. Ali (Ladenbesitzer) war schnell, ehrlich und kannte sich auch mit Fahrradschlössern aus. We rocked up looking to hire some bikes and we're told to wait for the bloke to put all the bikes out the front even though they'd been open for over an hour. After a wait of around 15 minutes the rudeness continued as we filled out a form and got the bikes. Honestly it seems like there wasn't anything worse in the world than having to rent us these bikes. Dunno if just having a bad day or what but he was totally out of line. Anyway bikes were good and only 10 euro for the day so that was ok. read more

Had been in a bike accident earlier in the week where both my brake cables came out!! ( bad bike repair by another shop in prenzlaurberg) needless to say I decided to avoid the pricey & cool looking bike shops with young pepping dudes this time. I took my bike here, bruised and scraped the man took a look at the bike and quote me out at 24€. He said he could have my steed up and running in a couple days, I explained sooner would be great, and he said he'd see what he could do. A couple hours later I got a call that my bike was ready! Yay! And on too of that he replaced and cleaned up my while brake system! Nice! My steed stops like a dream :) read more

I was extremely satisfied. The guys there fixed my old bike and it's riding like a new one. The owner is really nice and helpful. For those from Prenzlauer Berg (or from further): it is worth it to make the road to get there. read more

The mechanic here saved my vacation. Other shops told me they could not even estimate when my bike would be fixed. Here, they put my bike in a stand and did an amazing job of fixing it. read more

They fixed my bicycle really quickly, gave me a tiny discount and cut a broken lock off my bike for free. Cheapest place I've found for getting flat tyres repaired and getting unplattbare Reife. read more

Not very interested in helping. I went there to get new brakes and after asking for a bit of advice as far as mounting goes the guy literally got upset at me. After this he no longer felt willing to speak but resorted to pointing when he needed me to move out of his way. read more

The bikes are old and we had a great deal of problems with the bikes we've rented. We wanted to return the bike and get our money back. Instead of doing smthng to compensate this mistake the owner was very disrespectful and had a hostile attitude. read more

I went to Bikefix because I read some great reviews but I was disappointed by the service. The guys behind the counter didn't even get up to look at my bike, they just continued smoking and drinking their tea. It made me feel quite awkward just standing there. In the end I insisted they come over and take a look at it. I had problems with the brakes. They changed the break pads but they didn't adjust them properly so the pads were rubbing on the wheel and my back tyre is wonky so it catches on the brake pads and it's slow to cycle. They should have noticed this and advised me on what to do. I will now go to a different bike shop to get some advice as I don't want to deal with those men at Bikefix again. read more

So we ended up renting the bikes for 24 hours, after a long day we locked our bikes with the locks he gave us to go eat dinner. We came back 20 minutes later and one of the lock was cut and the bike was gone. At first we figured hopefully he has insurance that will cover the cost of the bike because we already gave him 50 euro as a deposit for each bike. This was not the case, when we rented it he showed us a note written in roughly translated english that said the 50 euro deposit was per caution if anything were to happen to the bike. Well after paying 380 Euro to replace the bike we are now having to cut our trip short for something we had no control over. The man was not reasonable nor was he very helpful and the fact that he didn't speak english didn't help my situation either. While we were arguing he was renting out bikes and giving the customers more heavy duty locks which was very infuriating. If you are in Berlin and want to rent a bike, spend your money else where, it will save you money and time. Thanks. read more

When I went back to Grimm to explain, the staff member very rudely denied any possibility of making a mistake, saying it was 100% impossible, and that they bought exactly the same part as before. My advice would be find another Werkstatt.

That,s a problem when you are on the other side of Berlin. So we took the bike for a repair at a bike shop downtown.. It turned out that we drove on a dangerous bike. The state of maintenance was very bad.. We put on a new tyre. Next day another tyre went flat. On returning the bike the guy at the shop saw the flat tyre and started shouting. Did not listen to our story, was very aggressive.. We did not get some money for the new tyre and in angry the man told us to leave.. Do not rent a bike there!

Zweite is a perfectly good place top rent a bike, with fast service and reasonable prices (€10/day). The bikes are step-through cruisers with baskets, front and back lights, a bell, and three gears - all features standard to many bike-share programs. They also come with a lock and a seat adjustment before you get in the saddle. The bikes themselves, though, are not ergonomic. I've ridden faster, more efficient bikes with the same upright cruiser design. Also, the gears on my bike needed serious work. They took a strong wrenching on to get them to shift down, and even then, the derailleur clearly needed serious alignment. But to be clear, the bike was still perfectly safe and functional, but more or less as a single speed. Store hours are also inconvenient: 1200 -1800 on a weekday. That makes it impossible to get an early start unless you pick up a bike the night before. Overall, this is a perfectly adequate place to rent a bike, with only a few minor downsides. Use their service, but be sure to plan ahead.

Bikefix ist super! Heute hat das Bikefixteam mir aus der Patsche geholfen. Ich habe den Schlüssel von meinem Fahrradschloss verloren.Auf Empfehlung meiner Freundin bin ich zu Bikefix mit meinem Problem. Obwohl der Laden extrem voll war, habt mir der supersympatische Chef des Ladens, sofort einen Mitarbeiter samt Werkzeug mitgegeben. Wir haben mein Fahrrad geholt und mußten noch den Schlauch wechseln. Nur 10 EUR bezahlt! Der Rest war ein Willkommensgeschenk. Toll! Sowas ist für mich als Studentin natürlich was sehr sehr lobenswertes. Bikefix werde ich nur noch empfehlen! Super nett, super schnell und wirklich auch sehr günstig. Geht hin und vergleicht die Preise. Ihr werdet es garantiert nicht bereuen.Ich habe nebenbei auch so einiges mitbekommen. Ein richtig netter Kiezladen mit viel Fachwissen und Kundenfreundlichkeit. Absolut inkompetent!!! Beim Abgeben meines Rads hat Ali mehr Zeit damit verbracht auf seinem Smartphone ein Spiel zu spielen als sich um seinen Kunden zu kümmern. Nach einer Woche habe ich mein Fahrrad abgeholt und es war sage und schreibe KAPUTTER als vorher. Sämtliche Speichen waren locker und das Vorderrad hat so geeiert dass ich nicht mehr damit fahren konnte. Ich hab das ganze natürlich sofort reklamiert und dann hiess es der Chef kümmert sich drum. Nach einer Woche habe ich das Fahrrad wieder abgeholt und jetzt ist nach zwei Tagen fahren das Vorderrad schon wieder am eiern und hat lockere und verbogene Speichen. Wie dumm kann man denn sein dass man als Fahrradwerkstatt sowas an den Kunden zurückgibt und dafür Geld verlangt? Nie wieder read more

UNZUFRIEDEN My bike has 21 gears, before paying 97 Euro to this shop 5 of which worked. Now 14 work. Niemand benutzt 21 Gaenge Die andere Teile muss auch ausgetauscht werden um 21 Gaenge zu funktionieren He's probably right. My tip when using this shop: beforehand agree what's possible / not possible before leaving your bike for repairs, then you can manage expections. If I had've known what I now know would I have left my bike there? Probably not. Ich will keine entaeuschte Kunden. Did I get any money back? also seit der lange da nicht mehr arbeitet sind nurnoch irgendwelche schwarzarbeiter pappnasen dort die nichts können und ewig brauchen und solange Mann keinen rock anzieht wird man von Ali nicht wirklich beachtet geschweigedenn ernst genommen ich war einige jahre kunde dort doch spare mir den weg seit 1 1/2 jahren dort hinzugehn qualität und service haben extrem abgenommen und die Preise sind willkürlich angesetzt passt ihm dein gesicht (ROCK ) dann bekommste gute preise read more

Eine Freundin hat mich zu Ali geschickt und dort hab ich auch gleich mein Rad überholen lassen. Ich durfte mit anpacken und mir alles genau erklären lassen; außerdem war die Beratung sehr ehrlich und nicht profitorientiert wie man das so oft kennt. Unfreundlicher, desinteressierter Service und extrem schlampige und oberflächliche Reparaturen. Ich bin da wegen den guten Rezensionen hin aber bringe in Zukunft mein Rad dort nicht mehr hin. Die haben mir allen ernstes meine gebrochene Speiche im Hinterrad durch einen völlig krummen Draht ersetzt und dabei auch noch zwei weitere völlig verbogen. read more

ich war am 4.6.2016 zur Reparatur,mir waren 4 Speichen am Hinterrad gebrochen.Ali sagte ich kann draussen warten.Man hat ein Hinterrad eingebaut,ich habe nur 45 Euro bezahlt,also ich kann Bikefix nur weiter empfehlen read more
