Mir wurde versichert, dass ich innerhalb der nächsten 6 Monate einen Umtausch erhalten könnte. Das Fahrrad gefiel mir auch gut. Leider hatte ich wenig Kenntnisse über Fahrräder und bemerkte nicht, dass alle Komponenten bereits am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer waren. In den folgenden 3 Monaten musste ich mehrmals vorbeikommen, um mehrere Mängel beheben zu lassen. Leider war dies nicht kostenlos, obwohl er mir zumindest einen Rabatt versprochen hatte (den ich ohne Vergleich nur schwer einschätzen kann). Nach 6 Monaten gab das Fahrrad dann völlig den Geist auf. Da ich nicht noch mehr Geld in dieses Fahrrad investieren wollte, bat ich um Ersatz oder Erstattung. Beides wurde abgelehnt. Was mich jedoch am meisten überraschte, war der zunehmend beleidigende Ton, der verwendet wurde. Leider werde ich mich wohl nie wieder trauen, ein gebrauchtes Fahrrad zu kaufen. Ich kann nur jeden warnen, nur ein Fahrrad dort zu erwerben, nachdem es vorher von einem Fachmann gründlich überprüft wurde. Laut den vielen Google-Bewertungen scheinen dort auch gute Fahrräder verkauft zu werden. Allerdings sollte man den Versprechungen des Verkäufers nicht unbedingt trauen.

They were super responsive, sending pictures and information and helping weigh pros and cons. They put the bike I was interested in on hold, and I came by to test it out. The process was seamless, and I bought the bike. They kept it a few days to check it over in the shop and make sure it was ready for me, and then I picked it up. The bike has been great, but unfortunately, after more than a year of daily use, the derailleur somehow got bent. They told me to swing by and I did. The person in the shop took a look, straightened it out, refilled my air, and I was on my way in 15 minutes. Great, straightforward service from people who know and love bikes.

Lohmühleninsel is something that most people don't know about unless they live nearby. It's a tiny…read morelittle island (about 6.5 acres) lining the border between Kreuzberg and Treptow, and also served as part of the border between former East and West Berlin/Germany. Apparently, it was once lined with landmines. This is clearly no longer a safety issue. There are a handful of bridges connecting the island to land, and on the island there is plenty to see, as it extends to the Spree. The most enjoyable section is that with the park and Spielplatz for kids. There are two separate sections of this park - one for older children and one for younger ones. All in all, it's pretty cool. There are also benches that rest along the water's edge and are situated under trees - a perfect, serene place to sit on a summer day.

To make a long story short we took some clothes cause we we're running a bit low on clean ones. We dropped our clothes early in the morning and the nice lady working that day told us to come back before 2:00pm. We made our way to the Berlin Wall Memorial on foot and got to checkout some of Berlin's neighborhoods as well. When we got back our clothes was clean and ready to go, and we had clean clothes for the remainder of our trip! Never take for granted the importance of clean clothes!
