I want to buy a new bike for Christmas. Called bike factory to see if they had my bike I wanted in stock they said no so I went in shop to see if they did. Upon arriving, they were incorrect about their stock and the bike was sitting on the floor. They wouldn't allow me to connect to their Wi-Fi to get approved for their credit. So I had to go back home apply and then I came back in. After getting approved and coming back to the store for a second time, they told me the bike that I wanted was not allowed to purchase with that provider after I confirmed it over the phone. I would appreciate if management reached out to me to resolve this issue.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I simply googled a bike I was looking for, BikeFactory had it on sale, but I wanted to verify availability before purchasing from reading previous reviews. Wow! Once I emailed they said yes, yet it was gone from the website? So I called, I don't wish to name who I spoke with for him, but he looked it up in the system. Verified there were 3 at the sale price in the system, but unsure why not on the website, so he literally put me on hold and went to put his physical eyeballs on the bikes in boxes. Now whoever emailed me after was extremely unprofessional, and I'll just leave it at that. First the bike got put up saying "No discount" then a day later none are on the site haha i simply asked if I could purchase at the price I first emailed, the sale price, or I'll simply buy it for msrp in the states. Mind you they have 3! lol

I recently went to bike factory to look for a new rim for my road bike. I find out that they are not selling too many road bikes and tri bikes any more, they carry more BMX and e-bike. I was looking for a bike rim for my road bike and I think the selection is limited for my price range, so they do not have a rim for my bike. They do sell skate boards. Overall their staffs are friendly. It is always good to have another Bike Shop in my area so I have another option to go to.

If you're not getting your bike fix at bikefactory you're missing out. Multiple locations, each with the friendliest staff I've ever dealt with. Quick story on what happened. I wanted some wiring done on my new bike and the boys took care of the job within 10 minutes time. I was speechless at how quickly they took care of it. In conclusion, go to bikefactory ONLY if you want to be treated well.

Good selection. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to get a tune up on our bike as well.

It's not easy to find rental road bikes, let alone carbon fiber models. The Specialized Tarmac I rented was the best rental bike I've ever rented. The only down side is that I fell in love with it and now I want to buy one! I will definitely rent from The Bike Shop any time I'm in Honolulu!

After a few back and forward discussion, the work order was set, they quoted me a price and they will call me when my bike is done. 3 hours later, when I went to pick up my bike, the technician told me with this new cassette, while I'm riding, I cannot change to certain gear, and if I do so, my derailleur will break on the road. I was like - why no one told me about that before I do the modification? He said he did not know it will not work either, 95% of the time, this set up with work, just that it will not work on my bike. So, end up, he has to put back my old cassette. At lease he was honor about it and do not just let me walk off with my new setting and risk breaking my derailleur on the road. At the end, he did not change me for that cassette work. I appreciate his honesty and workmanship. To be honest, the shop looks a bit old inside but they seems to have a lots of bike parts and accessory inside the store.

Great service and great staff…read more I've come back to Boca multiple times even though it's out of the way because they always had good feedback or little tips to share with me. I first went to get a bike fitting but didn't end up charging me cause it was already so close. I ended coming back and ordering other online parts and for more racing advice for the season. So I damaged my rear carbon fiber Reserve wheel. I called up reserve to see about a warranty…read morereplacement. I took a photo and they sent out a replacement but it needed to be built using my old hub. So they had me go to a local Cervelo dealer with a claim number that would bill them for the labor. I sent Boca a note and the owner got back to me quickly saying that he had two great in house wheel builders. Perfect. So I went to drop off my wheel on a Saturday. The guy at the counter seemed confused because I was doing warranty work on a wheel not purchased at Boca. So I explained to him Reserve is a Cervelo brand. And Reserve gave me a claim number they could input in their computer to have the labor paid for since I supplied all the parts. He still seemed a bit uncertain but he took the wheels (new and damaged). I filled out a slip but didn't receive a receipt, which made me a little uneasy since this was my first time in the store. He said 2-4 days. Not hearing from Boca, I called the following Friday. The guy who answered had no idea what I was talking about and just said it would be another couple of days. So I'm legit worried now. I emailed Boca again just to ensure I did everything right (no response this time). But I get a call back later that day from Boca--I guess the guy went into the back to look for my wheel or whatever--and he's like they're just waiting on Cervelo to give them the ok to do the claim so that their builder gets paid. I was like Reserve gave me a claim number and I wrote it on the slip I had to fill out (and in my email). The next Tuesday/Wednesday, I receive a call from Boca saying the wheel was ready for pickup. So a week and a half versus the 2-4 days I was originally promised. I'm sure the delay had everything to do with the whole claim system or whatever for the labor cost. But I'm out riding again. The wheel feels great so far. I have zero complaints. I think the builder did a great job and I'm glad they were able to sort out whatever they needed to so I could get back on the road. If I was in the market for a Cervelo, I'd definitely give Boca my business. Mostly pleasant experience. But I would have preferred to get some sort of receipt when I dropped off my wheels initially.

Even if the greeting was behind the desk, that was still nice that someone acknowledged my existence. Then, out comes someone different. His name was Alex and he was so nice and friendly. He told me all about the differences between bikes and what I should look for when choosing the right bike for my kids. Told me the interesting fact about why girl bike frames used to be different and now it doesn't really matter. Just incredibly patient and he never made me feel like I was an inconvenience or a waste of time because I wasn't looking to buy... right now. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and his ability to make me feel comfortable in a setting that I wasn't, was a pleasant surprise. He told me all the things that the bike factory could assist with if we did purchase a bike such as changing the tires, brake pads, etc. which even if we are not avid bikers, was still great information. I would hope that if and when I go back again, I get Alex to help out. He was awesome.

Bike factory has the worst customer service and on top of that Stacyc is rip offs! Long story short, but we bought 4 brand new Stacyc bikes for my children for Christmas, go to plug in the batteries to charge my son's 18 inch bike which cost me mind you $1800. The battery was not working. So I couldn't even give my son his Christmas gift on Christmas because the battery was not charging. I had to wait for after Christmas until they opened the following day to go and replace the battery and they still wanted me to place it under warranty, which that would've taken weeks to get replaced and if I hadn't give. my opinion on it that I just bought the bike. This is not my fault that the battery does not work and I want a battery today. They are responsible for checking to make sure the battery and bike is working when we leave out the door cause they do have a policy once you buy the bike and leave the store. It is nonrefundable. So I said I will not leave without a brand new battery for my son's brand new bike that was supposed to be a Christmas gift so that was already terrible news to my son! Then my daughter's smaller 12 inch bike. They ride it through the dirt got some mud on it and it started to smoke and then they wanna claim that the mud had ruined the motor which I highly doubt it because the mud was just on the frame and the tires, but because of the mud on the bike, they wanna claim the mud has ruined the motor and want me to pay out-of-pocket which I had just purchased the bike for Christmas and it was still technically under the 90 day warranty! But they called and said it's not covered, right on Stacyc! Will never be buying that brand of bike probably any brand of Bike from Bike factory again! ! !
