Being the former Basil restaurant space, the interior is more intimate, darkly lit and a sure romantic spot for date night. Everyone at our table ordered a different drink or glass of wine and there were no complaints. For appetizers I ordered a bruschetta, which was served on a very crispy slice of seasoned bread. It was a nice touch. We also sampled the cheese curds, which held up well to our Wisconsin standards, and a soup which I can't remember the name of but got high marks. Now for the main course. I was not expecting to be mind blown, by my god. The namesake dish, the Osso Bucco, was absolutely phenomenal. The veal was literally falling off of the bone and was easily, effortlessly separated with a fork. I have rarely had meat this tender. On the other side of the bowl was a fantastic risotto and a perfectly seasoned stew of carrots and onions. I did not indulge in the bone marrow, but I have heard it is a delicacy. Altogether this dish was worth every penny, and I will absolutely be having it again.
