Biggs Harley-Davidson - The Phoenix ‍ - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - San Marcos, California

Do not buy from this stealership. Sold a bike from under me two hours after running my credit. The salesman, Andrew Banks, is a liar. This place is full of people ready to take your money and lie to you while they do it. Go to Laidlaws. This place is run by liars. read more

Every year for the past few years I've gone to the fire fighters chili cook off at Biggs. It's a fun event with donations going to a good cause. Everyone is very friendly and excited for you to taste their chili. I love trying the variety people make and hearing about their family recipes or the reasons they put certain things in it. Over the years people put in peanut butter, chocolate, hot Italian sausage and even soy sauce. It's definitely upped my home chili game playing with ingredients I might not normally try. Inside you can look at all the bikes and merch and they even run specials. The staff is super knowledgeable and they have everything Harley related you might need. The separate departments even participate in making chili too and having their own competition. The raffle is fun, the chili is great, the hot dogs are good and the music is always enjoyable. read more

The customer service here is top notch. I came in for a new helmet and was greeted right away when I walked in. Chris was the person I spoke to. He was extremely helpful and thorough in explaining the differences between all of the helmets and which might work best for me. He took the time to help and wasn't just "trying to make a sale". He wanted me to feel comfortable with my purchase without rushing me and it was refreshing. Not many places take the time to actually help the customer. The showroom was very clean too. They have new and used bikes and have apparel, parts, accessories; everything you need! I'll definitely be back to this location. Thanks guys! read more

Let me start off by taking some responsibility for this given that I should have asked about it and made it a point when buying the bike. I was a dumb 21 year old. With that said I bought a 2016 soft tail deluxe from them and as usual they upsold everything to make the bike sell for way more than it's worth but again I'll take that one, my fault. When I bought the bike there was a chrome Harley Davidson sticker on the rear fender that I noticed but didn't question because I just assumed no dealership would pull some bs like this. I just figured they threw a sticker on it. Well I found out why they did that. There's a massive paint chip underneath that's completely rusted out... so instead of replacing the fender like a reputable dealer they slapped a sticker on it and pulled one over on me. The salesmen no longer works for this dealer or any dealer but this just shows the kind of practices Biggs hd is willing to do to sell a bike that the know needs work without telling you read more

Amazing experience here! If you are going to buy a bike, let it be here! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Serena, a sales manager. This was the first time I have ever been greeted by someone in a place that sells motorcycles. Immediately this place was off to a fantastic start! My wife needed to use the restroom and they had no problem with that. I started to look around and Mike, the owner or manager of the place, greeted me and asked if he could help in any way. I let him know my wife and I were looking at buying a motorcycle because we had been thinking about it for a few years. Mike asked more questions to get a feel for what we liked and what we wanted, and he pointed us in the direction of a very nice bike for an affordable price. Mike encouraged us to sit on them and taught me how to properly get a bike started so that it wasn't as heavy, and he answered all my questions (since I'm a very beginner)! He even took us around the entire place on a personal tour and showed us some bikes he had in their garage. My wife and I truly had a great experience here, and even ran into an old friend/boss! My friend/previous boss told me we were in the right place to buy a Harley! I told Mike that we will 100% buy from him after we take the driving training classes they offer, because we had such a great first impression here. Customer service makes a difference and thanks to Mike and Serena for acknowledging us and going above and beyond, we will 100% absolutely buy a chopper here! read more

DON'T BUY USED!! I bought a used Road Glide and Biggs claimed they did a full inspection on the bike. The bike ended up having a cracked clutch basket, WAY too big injectors, and WAY too big a cam! Quick update on my purchase of my 2022 Road Glide from Biggs! Three years later and after a pre Sturgis inspection by Chad and techs, I enjoyed every mile, 3,200 to and from the 2025 Sturgis Rally! Extreme heat, possibly but not admitting to above average speeds and my 2022 Road Glide was amazing! Thx to Chad and the tech or techs who inspected my Hog and insuring I made it unscathed. And all while wearing an elbow brace as I busted up my elbow about a week before the ride. Team Biggs, you guys kick ass from sales to service read more

The first time I came out for an event, the vibe and energy is like no other. We instantly felt welcomed and were treated like family. We had the pleasure of meeting Bronwyn. She is AMAZING! Excellent experience in selecting and purchasing my Harley Davidson at this dealership! Other Harley dealerships should model their customer service after Biggs Harley-Davidson. Great location and huge selection of new and used bikes. Ernan in sales was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and assisting me through the complete process in the purchase of my CVO Ultra. I also met the owner and he thanked me for my business. I also worked with Brad Hacker, Julian Corona, and Dino throughout the purchase and all were courteous and professional. Edit: Chad took care of me and we worked a deal out that was fair. That works for me and for him. Word of advice though don't come in a ragey like I did. But give them time to work it out. Also that being said after talking with Chad I hope they get better with the communication. I will give Service one more shot. Original review: Sales and Parts is great and if I had only ever dealt with them I would give Biggs a 5 Star review. But every time I have taken my bike here Ifor service which was 2x it have left something to be desired. There is a severe lack of communication. The initial quote was 1490 in the Text which confirmed I was supposed to get the detail( That was originally forgotten and the still not completed the day I was supposed to pick up my Bike.) You would think that with out the Detail I would have paid somewhere around 1150 to 1250. But they are trying to charge me 1462 30 dollars less then what I was quoted. Does this make sense. I think not. The proof is in the pudding look at my direct texts with Chad. Take your bike down to what used to be El cajon Harley for service every time I have been there it is great and they maintain constant communication. I recently moved to Temecula and will post a review of the next. Like I said Sales was great just avoid them for Service read more

Absolutely love Biggs over all of the other dealerships in Southern CA. The atmosphere here is so much more relaxed and they do not believe in high pressure compared to other dealerships. They take much more of a straight forward approach to doing business!. After the purchase of your bike and when you are ready to start installing accessories there is no better expert on upgrades and accessories in the parts department than Danny Powell. He is super cool and more knowledgeable than imaginable. His ability to help you accessorize your bike is awesome and his knowledge of all of the parts and accessories needed is unlimited. I have "fixed up" several of my bikes and i am so glad i went with his suggestions. He will talk with you and see what direction you are headed and he will help you with products that will suit you best. I simply cannot say enough about how good he is at his job and i have come to rely on his suggestions. When looking to upgrade and accessorize you bike definitely go to Biggs and See "Danny Boy" and trust me, you will not be disappointed. Also if you are looking to purchase a new motorcycle just do yourself a favor and go to Biggs. Much better atmosphere and their prices cannot be beat! read more

I recently bought a Low Rider ST from Biggs. The experience was excellent. Knowledgeable and personable is how I would describe my sales rep Andrew Banks. This was an amazing experience. I rode years ago but am not a motor-head. I was given the name of Josh (salesman) from a friend as being honest. This kid was AMAZING! (He's quite a bit younger than me. lol). He didn't push. Didn't want me to buy the first day. Just wanted me to try out a bunch of bikes. We rode a ton that day and I fell in love with Dyna Street Bob. He didn't upsell or try to sway me. Josh even took care of me after the fact with questions. The manager was amazing too. I never felt talked down to or pushed. It was amazing. read more

I just bought my first Harley and I got it from Biggs HD in San Marcos. I worked out the details with Derik before going in (over the phone). He was low pressure and easy to work with and put up with the many questions, calls, texts, etc. that I sent him during the week. Then when I went in, he showed me the bike, let me take it on a test ride, helped get the bike on our trailer, and gave me a Harley T-shirt! Dolly, in the finance department, helped out with the financing and gave me good rates on the financing as well as a big discount on an extended warranty. Just like Derik, she was low pressure and easy to work with. I left feeling that they gave me a killer deal on a killer bike and would definitely go back to them! read more

Scouring the internet looking for my next Road King...I was planning on purchasing private party, like my previous Road King Classic. I found the one I wanted at Biggs and the advertised price was good enough for me to check it out. Cody Hogan was quick to answer any questions, and hand me the keys for a test ride. Really laid back environment. There were no sales tactics or pressure. I have to say...the best dealer experience ever. Purchase went smooth, and I was on my way home. While heading the 50+ miles home, I noticed a front wheel vibration at higher speeds. I took it back at my next opportunity, and Cody took it for a test ride....noticed the same vibration, and promptly had new tires installed. That is customer service! I wanted to express the Outstanding, Professional Customer Service that I've received over the many years at Biggs H.D. It all started with having my bike serviced many years back at Biggs, with Chad and Robyn as my Service Advisor's you can't go wrong, Amazing knowledge and great to work with, Their follow up is amazing compared to other dealerships. The Service Techs are very skilled and they service / repair my bike the first time, without any accidental damage to my bike. Most recently I noticed a Road Glide 3 in Biggs inventory while visiting the dealership to purchase another extended warranty for my current Road Glide from Dolly in Finance, which I have to say Dolly is amazing, professional and was very helpful, if your looking to purchase an extended warranty I highly recommend contacting Dolly. After purchasing the extended warranty I decided to take a test ride on the R.G. 3, and after discussing the bike with Andrew / Sales Associate he made the process of the test ride easy and with NO pressure, upon returning from the test ride I was very impressed with the R.G. 3 and discussed options with Andrew to see if we could come to an agreement to trade /purchase. What happened next was amazing Andrew worked with Willard / General Manger and Serena / Sales Manager to come up with an agreed trade / purchase prices on both bikes to make a painless smooth purchase transition, which is hard to come by now days. Joshua / Sales Associate is very knowledgable and assisted in going over particular functions of the bike before I rode off. If your considering a new bike or your current one needs a face lift, I highly recommend talking with "Danny Boy" at the parts counter, he built my R.G. 3 for the previous owner and Holly Sh!% did he build it. Danny's vision in bikes is amazing, not to mention his knowledge in parts and their applications are second to none. In closing, I would like to express the Outstanding, Professional Staff at Biggs H.D. and would Highly recommend giving them a shot for your business. if it's just for a T shirt which the Apparel Department is very helpful or Service / Parts / Sales I don't believe you'll be disappointed. Thanks again Biggs H.D. you have a customer for many years to come. Scott read more

I went into Biggs about a month ago with my wife. I met Derik B. who was a low pressure salesman, but very happy to show us and talk about bikes - I had told him that I was not likely to purchase immediately - I actually said 4-6 months out, but he still had a lot of patience with me answering questions, and showing me and my wife different bikes that fit into the range of what I was looking for price-wise and model-wise. I ended up buying a Street Bob over the weekend, and I am very satisfied with the whole experience. I would highly recommend Biggs - they had some fun looking events going on each time I was there, that I plan to start attending now that I'm a Harley owner! I also had a great experience with the woman working at the accessory counter. I needed gloves and a helmet, she helped me find what I was looking for, and I grabbed a Harley backpack as well since I had no way to carry my paperwork, boxes, etc. She asked "are you only buying that because you need to carry your stuff home?" I said yeah, so she gave me a free backpack style bag that I was able to use to get my gear home. I really appreciate that this place does not seem to be always about only making the sale. Because of this, I am likely to return here for other items in the future and I will recommend Biggs to anyone I know who is interested in owning a Harley (several of my neighbors are very interested in my new bike!). read more

This review follows a 12-year boycott of Biggs and deciding I need to give my local dealer another shot at earning my trust/business. In summary they succeeded but not without a minor blip, and yes, I will be back. Made an appt for an inspection and was surprised at what seems to be shortened hours. Appointment was on Wednesday, told I couldn't drop off Tues evening (Wed am was really inconvenient for me). Text reminders said Tuesday was ok, so I called, talked to Justin, and man was he the bomb! Made arrangements to drop the bike off Tuesday evening, validated all of my contact info and left feeling really appreciative. How long does an inspection take, right? I called on Thursday and was told they needed to validate my phone number as there was a problem contacting me. We validated the number to be correct (and parts called the previous day). You can make your own assumptions on what happened. New battery took all day and Justin (yay) called to let me know it was done and ready to be picked up. Picked up the bike on Friday from Justin and again, really appreciated his attitude and customer service. All good, thank you. read more

Updated: Wow, just wow! I can't believe what Biggs did to me! This dealer's slogan: *No added dealer mark-up. *No added dealer set-up. *No Gimmicks, EVER! Biggs tried to trick and scam me, NOT GOOD BIGGS!  They gave me the numbers for the OTD payment for the bike I wanted and the amount I would get for my trade and I was good with it, BOOM DONE DEAL RIGHT, NOT.  My HD application was approved.  However, my monthly payments were higher than expected due to a high APR.  I asked what my APR was but they were silent about it.  So they gave me a number to HD finance department (1-888-691-4337) to call them, but they didn't specify the reason for the call, I'm assuming to talk about the high APR rate I was given.  So, I asked HD finance about why my $15k loan is almost $400 monthly for 72 months...I have Tier 1 credit score of 755!  Of course, they told me they didn't handle rates but were puzzled about the situation so they told me to find another dealer, unbelievable.  They knew something wasn't right!   I called another Harley Davidson dealer to see if they would give me the rates and they quickly told me the rate which is 6.99% for 72 months, why Biggs was so secretive with me?  I still thought we could come up with ANOTHER deal with Biggs so I didn't go with the other dealer. So, I spoke with the finance manager at Biggs and she finally told me that the only way this deal would benefit them was either if they took less for my trade OR I WAS GIVEN A HIGH APR RATE!  I didn't know dealers could manipulate rates!   In the beginning, WE HAD A DEAL! WITH THE ALL THE NUMBERS! BUT THERE WAS A CATCH and they didn't want to tell me at first!  They thought I would just sign the dotted line and ride home with my new Harley. NO DEAL AND NO PURCHASE! I don't recommend BIGGS HARLEY! You've been warned! My honest review. *Reply to response: The deal didn't happen so I backed out since Biggs tried to scam me. Good thing I caught it! read more
