THIS is the place to go for anything you can't do on your own. Shane is a stellar dude who can absolutely be trusted to not lie to you about the issues your bike might be having. Everyone that works in this shop is incredibly friendly. I brought my newly purchased Triumph Street Triple in to have a basic checkup along with having my tires swapped and to have the bike lowered. The guys finished up earlier than I expected and I was able to leave with my bike while still having time left to enjoy my day off. This does not know how to do estimates. The way overcharge and they warranty nothing. Communication is basically non existent. Very content with my experience. I brought in several items: EU6500is Honda Generator EU2000is Honda Generator Honda TRX 420 Honda TRX 350 Bombardier DS 90 All had dead batteries and were in various states of disrepair. I'm no slouch and tried for hours and hours to get these all to run correctly. I pulled all the carburetors out, cleaned them, tested everything blah blah blah. I failed and all of the above machines sat and started to rot. Finally, on a chance, I decided to entrust them to someone else. I spent months looking because I have been badly screwed by Honda and Yamaha dealers, various mobile mechanics and local shops where dropping off a $7k ATV is like throwing it down a black hole. I'm so glad I brought everything to CPR! These dudes rock. The hourly is higher than most at $105/hr but they did do everything right. I feel like everything is going to run super nice for another 5-6 years. read more

I always take my bikes back to the dealer for service. However, this time It was suggested that I try CPR for my brand new 2020 Yamaha FJR. I was reluctant but though I would give it a try. WOW! These guys are awesome!!! Brought my son's bike here with some serious issues. My son bought a bike from his cousin that had high mileage, was messed with a bit and had been sitting. When he bought it my son took it to a "Dealer" to be completely gone through and brought up to running order. Spent a lot of $$s just to get it "running" only to find out they wanted way too much more $$$$s to bring up to specs....Never did run quite right either. Should have just brought it here first!!! Shane dug in and stuck with it until all gremlins were resolved and bike runs good as brand new... for a 10 year old bike that's saying something. I discovered this shop early last year. I noticed some bikes and since I own an ATV (2007 YFZ450) I decided to give Shane a shot at sorting out the problem I had with my craigslist purchased ATV. I can say with ease that this decision was the best one I've ever made with my beloved bike (it's got 4 wheels but I'm still going to call it that). Shane diagnosed the problem and fixed it in time for me to make the next trip to the desert. I felt great about the decision I made and Have been going to his shop ever since for all my motorsport needs. I've never met a more honest and hard working individual in this industry. I've had plenty of experience with the shops around North County and I will remain loyal to this shop simply because I can trust the guy and his warranty on his work. I brought "Critical Performance Racing" a 1996 Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R with 63,000 miles on it that had not been started in six years. And, I had serious doubts it could ever run correctly again. Before even seeing the bike, Shane (the owner of "CPR") ran through the possible problems and gave me an idea of the potential costs to rectify each problem. While it turned out my bike was mechanically pretty sound, there were many issues to sort through in just about every system on the bike. Shane and Jeff meticulously went through the carbs, the brakes, the clutch, the emissions system, etc ... ferreting out the "gremlins" that had appeared during this bike's lengthy period of inactivity. To make a long story short, my experience with Shane and his staff was very positive. It took some time, and it took a reasonable amount of money for the work and parts required to bring this bike back to life. However, I now have a bike that runs and rides amazingly well. More importantly, I have a sense of confidence that my bike has been transformed from a "barn find" into a bike that is 100% road worthy and safe to operate on the roads. I would not recommend this place. I spoke to a gentleman named Shane about getting some work done on my bike. While he expressed enthusiasm about having me as a customer, that interest quickly dwindled as soon as communication transitioned to email correspondence. The last email I sent was about 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a response. Like the previous 1 star review that this company received, I expect someone from CPR will respond to this review stating something along the lines of "We apologize for blah blah... this isn't how we as CPR typically conducts ourselves blah blah... we have multiple lines of communication that YOU can utilize blah blah..." No excuses for a lack of professionalism. I suggest stepping your game up CPR if you hope to remain in business much longer. read more
