But without that - I think that no matter how excellent the interior is, how great the staff is and how awesome the smoothies taste it will be an uphill battle. The closest restaurant is Joy Yee Noodle which had been there forever and gets really good business but they offer their own smoothies and there is vacant store front between the two. There is a CFA in the strip mall but it is facing the road and further away. The strip mall has a Planet Fitness so maybe that was the reason for the location. But it is still across a huge parking lot which no one walking across in the winter )or maybe summer).

She explained that she was unable to make my hot latte because the hot coffee machine was down. When I pointed out that she had just served three of the four customers ahead of me a hot coffee, she said, "yeah, but those took hot water.". She went on to ask if it was okay if she made me an iced latte instead. Having already waited more than 20 minutes inside at this point, I said that was fine. She then reached to her side (where she'd previously hid), grabbed the iced coffee I'd watched her make before the claims of the broken machine and handed it to me. Instead of owning the fact that she'd mistakenly made an iced latte instead of the hot one I'd ordered, she'd chosen to cover what was an innocent mistake with a lie. I told her as much and left. She said the store no longer has a brick and mortar in Lisle, as they are moving to a location. The owner told her the current location does not attract the Eastern European clientele that they expected. Fortunately for us, they were willing to bake this cake AND deliver it the next day. I had been in that part of Europe recently and everyone kept telling me that I had to try this Moskva cake. Very few bakeries in the US make it, as it is exclusive to Serbia. I never got to try the cake until we found this Bakery! It was really good. HUGE. A very tall cake, not overly sweet, adorned with a lot of fruit and almonds and a whipped cream frosting. Tastes just like real pizza, it has cheese, mushrooms, looks like ham, and pizza sauce. Breading was flaky, careful because it is very hot. The hurmasica came from the display, it is a Bosnian dessert. It is not sweet, very moist, and you can definitely taste that syrupy flavor. I should have ordered more of those. I recommend people order their food and the Balkan desserts.
