Southern Tradition with Bacon on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel + cream cheese added - A bagel sandwich with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and cream cheese is held in a person's hand. The bagel is sliced in half, showing the filling inside. The background includes foil wrapping and part of a person's lap, indicating the sandwich is being eaten in a casual setting.

Best bagels in the area hands down. Great selection and super friendly owners. Go early if you want Onion!

lox bagel with veggie cream cheese, plain bagel with plain cream cheese - A bagel with a mixture of sesame seeds and poppy seeds on its crust, sliced and spread with cream cheese, with slices of smoked salmon inside. The bagel is placed on a piece of white parchment paper on a tray. In the background, there is a red basket with more bagels wrapped in paper, on a dark countertop.

Super cozy little shop! The ladies at the shop were super patient as I decided what to get and they helped give suggestions. I love lox bagels and the sandwich really hit after volunteering. I do wish the bagel was toastier tho, but i'm sure I could ask for extra toast next time.

Souther tradition with Asiago bagel - A close-up image of a cheese bagel with melted cheese on top, showing the bagel partially sliced open to reveal the soft interior. The bagel is held in a person's hand, wrapped in a paper wrapper, and the background is blurred. The image emphasizes the texture of the melted cheese and the bagel's crust.

Best bagels around!!! They're fluffy and delicious and make amazing breakfast sandwiches. Have a large variety but make sure to get there early before your favorite flavor is gone.

    Muffins and bagels oh my!

I had about an hour to kill between meetings, so instead of going home I thought I'd grab some breakfast. I live nearby, so I'm actually surprised it's taken me this long to check out Big Apple Bagel. In general, I honestly try and avoid bagels. Lotta carbs, not a lotta nutritional value. But hey, sometimes you just say yes. I tried to still make a healthier decision amongst what was offered though, which was really hard with all the available muffins and deliciously flavored bagels. Luckily there was a huge picture on their menu of the start fresh sandwich that caught my eye. Egg whites, turkey sausage, tomato and provolone on your choice of bagel (I went with 8-grain). To top off my order I of course needed my morning caffeine fix, so I chose an iced coffee. Despite there only being two of us in the restaurant, it actually took a good few minutes to whip up my order. Luckily I'm a pretty patient gal. Here's the breakdown of my experience... Start fresh sandwich: bagel was alright (nothing special), the turkey sausage, tomato and provolone were on point (great combo), and the egg whites were fluffy and huge! This was definitely a big sandwich. Normally I wouldn't complain, but the size of those egg whites plus the extras all on a thick bagel made this extremely filling and difficult to eat. I powered through half of my sammie and ended up taking off the egg for the second half. Too much for me first thing in the morning. Iced coffee: Tasted great! The man who took my order asked if I wanted cream and sugar and I said yes. I was surprised to see him come around the counter, walk over to the coffee station and concoct my iced coffee. I kind of felt bad, like... Should I be doing this myself? Regardless I was appreciative and luckily the coffee-sugar-cream ratio was spot on. My only complaint, and this is a personal preference, is that I hate when restaurants or cafes give you iced coffee in one of those cups that has a bubbled lid (like for a frapaccino). Not necessary and honestly it causes some unwanted beverage spillage. Decent experience overall. If I'm ever hankering for a bagel I'll probably be back. Bonus: they have doggie bagel bones for sale at the counter! You better believe I brought one home for Stella.

Lox and cream cheese. So good! One of the pricier items on the menu but I love Lox sooooo.... I ate a half before I could snap a pic lol

Top notch service and the food is awesome. I visit every chance I get. Recommend the breakfast BLT on Asiago with jalapeno cream cheese.

Terrible. Go elsewhere or you'll be sorry!…read more I was in the area early one morning with my mom and sister so we decided to go for breakfast. I wanted to go to Cracker Barrel, but my sister wanted to try something new so we ended up at this restaurant. There was only one other patron eating when we arrived. Looking back, that should have been our first clue that this wasn't the place to be. Our server/hostess was nice but she literally only took order and brought us our food. I opted for the hash browns, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. First off, the toast was Texas Toast which was odd... it was much too thick, but it didn't matter because it was burnt. They also didn't put butter on it right when it came out of the toaster so it was dry and cold upon arrival to the table. The hash browns had no flavor, but the ketchup and salt/pepper helped make them edible. The eggs were okay as well, but the turkey bacon was gross. It tasted like rubber. I have no idea what brand it was, but it was obviously some cheap off brand. The orange juice was so bitter that I had to exchange it was apple juice. My mom had hash browns, eggs, sausage and pancakes. She didn't care for her food much either. My sister had the corned beef hash, eggs, hash browns, and toast. She loved the corned beef hash and thought everything else was okay. Ultimately, she agreed that we should have gone elsewhere. The restaurant was clean and quiet except for the noise from the television. The bill was about $50 for the three of us. The quality of the food is obviously lower tier. IHOP would've been a better choice and that's not even a place I'd ever even consider visiting.

We've worked our way through the menu, but the skillets and waffles are consistent winners. The Pro Tip: Get "Ozzie's Favorite." Very disappointed with the service I received today on 10/06/2025. I called to place one order of…read moretwo biscuits and gravy with just ONE extra biscuit. After confirming and repeating my order making sure I wasn't being charged for two entrees when I only wanted one and a side biscuit. Ok get to the store I was proceeded to get charged for two orders of the biscuits when I repeated over and over my concern how I specifically wanted to make sure I am not paying for TWO entrees when I just wanted a extra piece of biscuit on the side. I asked the manager to remove the other entrée because I only wanted one, she proceeded to say that that would be a waste of food and she did not want to do that. That is beyond me that they would rather lose a loyal customer that's been coming here for years rather than making sure the customer is happy and satisfied. When I drove out of my way to come to the specific diner passing so many on my way... thank you so much for ruining my experience and to be honest I would not have done there there are so many other places with better quality service or you can actually get treated like family not like here. Very rude very unprofessional didn't even bother to fix their mistake. I was so disgusted with the service that I did not even care to even touch my food. So I proceeded to throw away $25 worth of food when it should've only costed me $12 thank you so much.
