My boyfriend and I bought our English Bulldog from Todd last year, we love our little guy so much. The only concerns I had about the purchase was that he charged top dollar for him. I think we walked away that day spending a little over $5.5k. When we arrived that day he mentioned to us that there was kennel cough going around all the dogs. He made it seem that the puppies in the upper area did not catch the cough, but gave us antibiotics to take home as a precaution. Not too long after we brought our baby home we noticed his cough got really bad. Todd did check up with us every day to see how he was doing and also mailed us more antibiotics for him. But they didn't seem to work. I also noticed that his ears kept filling up with gunk and wax and he wouldn't stop itching himself. I ended up taking him to the vet probably a week or two after to find out that he still had kennel cough along with really bad ear mites that he had from when we bought him. On the second visit they wanted to me also bring in a stool sample as well and we found out he had giardia. You could only imagine how I was feeling after all of these vet visits. After a few more vet visits and $800 later he was in great shape. Besides this headache is has been the BEST little guy and we love him very much. Also a side note, I was kind of hesitant about getting him when I found out that it was going to cost us another $1k if we wanted his documents. Along with that we noticed that he whines and sucks on his soft toys sometimes to comfort himself. We read up on it and saw that it could be caused form separation anxiety and being taken away from the mother too early. Honestly besides all of these mishaps he has brought a lot of joy to our family & friends.

Just wanted to give my personal experience with Todd at big bulldogs. We got our boy Gus from him a year and a half ago and we couldnt be happier with our little guy. He is super healthy and an absolute blast! Todd had mentioned when we got him that we can always call or text him with any questions or concerns as this is the first puppy we have owned. Todd has been true to his word and always been there to answer any questions weve had. Today I had a question about his ear as he has been itching it at times and Todd invited me to his house and showed me how to deep clean his ears for free, I didnt expect him to do that at all but it shows that he goes above and beyond. While im with Todd I notice how he treats his dogs and you can tell that he loves not only what he does but he loves his animals. I would not hesitate to purchase a bully from Todd.

Could not be happier with my experience with Todd and Big Bulldogs. I love my puppy, she's healthy, happy and very good with people and other dogs. Todd replies quickly to texts and questions and has been a great help. Would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to come see Todd. I will be getting another English soon enough.

We got our bully from Todd 11 years ago. Todd was always great and answered the phone right away or returned my call. Very professional and VERY knowledgeable about the English Bulldog bread. His best advice and what I tell every bulldog owner is KEEP THE WEIGHT DOWN on your bully. Overweight bullys are very unhealthy. Stella is still going strong!

I have two frenchies from todd they are wonderful dogs and in great health. I use to run the san diego french bulldog meetup group abd will tell you first hand he has some of the best bulldogs around and his facilities and second to none. I just wisk I had more room to adopt another from todd.

This is a picture o my dog monster!!!! Love him!!!! Thanks big bulldogs!

Sarah disgusts me as a person. We just mourned the loss of our beautiful little baby girl Penny…read moretoday. You and your disgusting puppy mill sicken me. Our baby was only three years old and she had so many complications from her incompetent breeder. She could not breath and had to be indoors her entire life, could never run or be a puppy. She had to have bi weekly injections her skin was so bad. She eye complications when she was little and in the end suffered a major back issues. We first knew something was wrong suddenly lost the ability to use her back legs. Prompting a visit to the ER. This was the third time she had been to the ER. At the ER they used a breathing tube to try an resuscitate her. She had lost control of her breathing completely and overheated, leading to massive seizures. She died that night as there was no chance of saving her. We spent more than $10,000 in medical bills trying to help Penny breath, see, and not itch constantly. We loved her so greatly and took cared of her as best we could given the horrible breeder. As for when penny had her first issue when we had her for just 30 days. We requested a refund for the money we had payed for the dog, she refused and offered a new puppy. Automatic red flag. We still believe she would have immediately euthanized the puppy. This lady is a disgusting human and should rot in hell. I personally hate you and think that you and your disgusting operation should be seized by the FBI and PETA for how horrible you are to your animals. To anyone thinking of this lady for their dog, stay well clear. This lady doesn't care about you, your kids, or her animals. She is a horrible person. The second you have an issue she just offers you a new dog, a classic sign of a puppy mill breeder. Give them a new dog so they can keep the money and kill the current "problem". Lastly I want to make it clear, I completely understand that everything has a cycle and that life will come to an end. With that said however, Sarah and her negligence and incompetence lead to a horrible, short life for our puppy. She is a prime example of what to avoid when looking for a dog. Avoid this lady at all costs. Best wishes to you filthy wench

Buyer beware. I…read morenever write reviews because I understand that we are dealing with peoples livelihoods and impacting their income. With that being said, I have to share my experience to help save others from a large financial loss. In December of 2021, I was so excited to learn about Sarah and her Distinctive French Bulldog service. It was important for me to find a responsible breeder that I could trust and had experience that aligned with best practices. I thought I found that in Sarah as she came recommended from a French Bulldog owner. I was very mistaken and I wish I had spent a bit more time going through these reviews to get a better idea of her practices. First contact: When I first contacted her, she seemed very knowledgeable and spent time on the phone answering my questions and telling me how much she loves her "frog dogs". She informed me that she had several litters due between January and February 2022 (back to back). She told me that reserving a spot for the first, second, third and fourth pic was very important as her puppies go fast. I quickly gave her a $500 deposit that same day to be one of the 4 first picks for an upcoming litter. She told me some dates when puppies would be due and that she would reach out to offer us puppy picks before posting online. The litters: (1st litter) Time had passed beyond the due date for the 1st litter and I had not heard from her so I decided to reach out. I was informed that all the puppies died in that litter. That was terribly sad to hear and I was told to wait for the other litters. (2nd litter) All the puppies died and the mama died too. Again, heartbroken for her and her puppies. Trying to be understanding I decided to continue waiting. After all, I'm sure those things were out of her control and it must have been so heartbreaking and stressful. (3rd litter) Only one puppy survived. A male puppy (I had specifically asked for a male puppy since our 1st conversation in December 2021). Fast-forward to February 2022 and she publicly offered the newborn puppy to someone on social media that was not on the paid wait list. I didn't even get the opportunity to reserve the puppy as it was never offered or brought to my attention until after she had already given it to some random person. I learned about the puppy through social media rather than hearing about it from her as agreed upon. Conclusion: 3 months later, $500 was taken from me and services were NOT rendered. Once my money was in her hands, she was not easy to communicate with. Her excuse was that she was always traveling or something. Her text messages were all over the place and she seemed very unorganized. Since she did not respond to my e-mails, I would text. When I texted her for photos and information about the Sires and Mommies for her litters (her website was never updated with information about the dogs) I never received any information. It was like trying to navigate in the dark and feeling completely helpless like I was being taken for a ride. Per the pandemic and other life challenges, $500 is not a small chunk of change. People work hard for every penny they make and no one should have to go through this type of experience. If she was genuinely concerned for her business, its reputation and retaining clients/customers, she would have offered a refund at month 3. I believe I was more than patient and understand. This was a very disappointing experience and incredibly frustrating. Think twice before giving this breeder your money. Best of luck.

Not only was he just gorgeous, but he was a loving, gentle and smart dog to raise our three boys with. Our newest addition, Maverick, is just three months old but we can tell he too will be an amazing addition to our family. With big shoes to fill, he has already captured all of our hearts. He is one smart doggie too. He already rings a bell to be let out to go potty, and he responds well to my commands. Carol knows her stuff and as the previous reviewer explains, she does everything right. We met both of Maverick's parents and Carol presented us on pick-up day with a blanket she had made with the scent of each of Maverick's siblings, some toys, shampoo, a collar and a lovely binder with information on both parents. Losing Bentley was traumatic, but Carol helped me immensely by sharing photos of her newest litter on a regular basis. I also like that she is not a puppy mill and focuses on breeding high quality puppies just a few times per year. Trust me, you can't go wrong with Carol!

I appreciated the thoroughness and advice she provided me a first-time puppy purchaser, to advise what to look for in breeder in whether her, or another one. It's evident she really cares about her dogs. They are on a good routine and takes visitors around the time they eat and nap, putting them first. To a purchaser, it may seem that she is very involved or has lots of suggestions, but the truth is, she got us ready to immerse a dog into our home and family. Her tips were from a good place, to make our routine similar to what he (Palmer) was used to. He slept through the night on the 2nd night from then on, ever since, and she lets us know about night one, he may be a bit scared in a new place. He's beautiful and healthy, our vet was so impressed! Her dogs are groomed at home, she has cleaners to add care at their home and cleanliness, they eat well, enjoy goats milk, and love. The owner/ breeder She has a big heart, and understands Cavs are good for people in need. There is an option to have your puppy be a dog certified to visit assisted living care and elderly people in homes who do not have visitors. We are going to enroll Palmer in it because it's good for the dog and we feel good about helping lonely older people in our area too. She makes sure your lifestyle fits well for what the breed needs, being home, etc. If we had questions or concerns, wanted tips, she was happy to make suggestions that did work, from his sleep to bathrooms to routines. As long as he is alive, she is available as a resource - a very caring, knowledgable, breeder. We could not be happier with Palmer and the transition she has made going forward comes from a place of love - and as a buyer, if you can remember this, it will help you too. Having one of her KCC is so rewarding. Thank you, Castel Creek.

They were so incredibly helpful with our decision to get another vizsla, and the selection of the right pup for us. They take impeccable care of the puppies and are so obviously passionate about everything vizsla. It's infectious! They are doing this out of love and only have a couple of litters a year. Which means, if you want one of their puppies, you have to act fast. It looks like they are taking deposits on the spring litter right now. I know from our experience that the puppies went really quickly and there is a good reason for this. I would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a vizsla. Look no further. Brody is fabulous...in perfect condition and he has the best temperament. He's great with other dogs and all people, including kids. He is just a hearty, healthy guy who loves life. Seems all of their puppies have these same qualities which says a lot. Also, they run the Socal Vizsla Rescue organization at www.socalvizslarescue.org. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there are a lot more people willing to rescue than there are dogs available, but it is a great organization and it just speaks to the vizsla commitment by these ladies.
