Did not want to add more salt by adding broth so tried eating it on its own. Perhaps that's just how the boys in the south do it because it's certainly not representative of a good Chicago-style beef sandwich. My gag reflex took over after just one bite. Terrible. I saved my appetite all day for this supposedly authentic Chicago beef and was hungry, so I tried the French fries. They were old and horrible tasting. I ate only one, for fear I'd get sick, wrapped everything up and threw it in the garbage. I took one of my anti-nausea pills I use when I get a migraine. Ugh. And to the readers of this review: If you want an authentic beef, look up Portillo's. Portillo's ships an excellent and authentic sandwich.
