Depressing; however, this pet store is not depressing. It is medium sized, clean, less sad animals waiting to be loved, and friendly staff. We came to look at hamsters, gerbils, bunnies, anything a 10 year old can hold and fantasize about owning. The fish tanks are immaculately clean, WOW. The tanks that the little fuzzy animals are in are clean and have an ample amount of toys. These animals didn't make me sad- well, there were a few tiny containers with fish swimming in circles waiting for someone to love them and those made me a little sad. The workers were very nice. One young lady was so accommodating and any animal that my son wanted to hold she would catch it and let him hold it. She imparted knowledge about the animals and talked about when she had a gerbil or some other animal. You could tell that she loved animals. The guy at the checkout was so friendly and funny, he didn't seem mad that he was working on a Friday night. They have an excellent variety of bunny paraphernalia. Great bunny homes, toys, chew toys, and snacks. They have some delicious looking treats (a bakery display of dog treats) at the check out counter. Basically, if you need to go to a pet store, this one is really good and they have a lot of stuff without being too big. They had a good selection of pet clothing.

Once I get there, I don't see any of the kind of tag I need. I asked a guy at the register if he would please come and look to see if I'm just not seeing it or if it's not there. Nope, it's not in stock... I asked him if he would help me contact another location before I trek all over Nashville. At this point, he's speaking with another employee and voilà, CAT comes to my rescue... she looked in a drawer near the checkout register and found the kind of tag I need. But my problem wasn't solved there, the font options are nothing like what is advertised on Petco.com (see picture attached)... She said the font options in the tag making machine are universal to all Petco Stores across America. Bottom Line: a) CAT IS A ROCKSTAR: If you need any reliable help when visiting this store be sure and ask for Cat. b) Website font not an option in actual store: Unacceptable, false advertising!
