Have been going here for over a year and the cuts I have received on my two dogs has been hit or miss. Sometimes they look great and other times they just looked like they were brushed out and washed. Will cancel an appointment on you with less than 24 hours in advance. I would not recommend. read more

I have been sending my dog to Bark for boarding for almost a year now and I have loved the experience. I have so much comfortability leaving my dog here knowing that the staff is genuine and loves her. I also love that they have active cams, I am always watching my dog play with the staff and run around. She seems to absolutely love it!!! I also have to add that they melted my heart when I watched the cams and saw they drew a little heart next to my dogs name We love bark! read more

I was a little skeptical of coming here from some of the bad reviews left recently. I brought my two doodles here to get groomed. The groomers did a great job, and both of the dogs were done within three hours. Both of the ladies I spoke to at the front desk were super helpful and assisted me with making my next appointment for 8 weeks out. They only do baths on the weekends, no full haircuts which is good to know if you work during the week so you can plan ahead. I love how they are able to text you during the day to ask preferences on haircuts and keep you updated on things. The inside of the lobby had tons of bagged treats, baked treats, toys, grooming things, and different food for the dogs. It was like a fun little shop for your pup. I had to pick out a treat for each of mine after getting their haircuts! They also do daycare and boarding, I spoke with a gentleman in the lobby because he is a frequent customer for boarding and he said he has no complaints as he travels often for work and his pup loves it there. I will be keeping them in mind next time I leave town and need to board them. So far so good from my family! read more

Terrible groom, even worse customer service. Made an appointment for my dog and he was returned with a terribly quicked nail and several mats left unaddressed. After speaker with the owner, he insinuated that I quicked his nail post-groom and would "need time" to consider reimbursement options to compensate for our terrible service. Not to mention the groom was outrageously priced $160 plus tip and was there for 6 hours. Could have done a better job myself. read more

Always can fit us in for grooming! Grooming staff is kind and communicative! The prices are pretty reasonable for grooming. Haven't really taken advantage of daycare outside of letting our pup stay and play for the day post groom. read more

My black lab, Brady, has been going here for a while now and loves it!! It is nice knowing he is playing and having fun while I am at work. When I pick him up after work, he is exhausted from his long day and sleeps all night. He typically goes 1-2x per week. In addition, sometimes I receive pictures from the staff of him playing (with water on warm days - he is a lab lol). He seems to enjoy it, and it has been a good place thus far - I recommend for any dog owner. read more

The before and after pictures of my dogs grooming. I was shocked! They are always busy when you drop off - they don't listen to instructions - they clearly don't read notes on file - they change groomers frequently. They would be better off sticking to daycare/boarding and exit the grooming business. read more

I struggle with the review because I think the whole staff deserves 5 stars with the exception of the owner. Every time I have talked to him, he is cold and apathetic. We hosted my dog's birthday party here and so I called 3 months in advance to reserve the date. I called at least 3 times after to confirm whether or not I could reserve the whole space and I was assured that I would have the whole outside section. On the day of the event with 40 people expected to come , the owner said I wouldn't have the full outside and anyone could come in and said I would need to pay a fee for that. I asked what that fee was and said "I don't know". I go on to say well I spoke to your staff many times so maybe you should check in with them. He refused and just said that I didn't speak to him so he couldn't do anything. So if you ever come here, never speak to him if you can avoid it. read more

Me and Teddy (my Dog) enjoy Bark Public House for our boarding needs! He really enjoys his time here.

I found my new groomer! This place is tucked away in the Gulch near The Chef & I. I've only been once but the groomer did Chewy's haircut exactly how I requested. Her name is Winter & everyone else there is nice as well. He is a shih tzu & a full groom was about $60. There is limited parking which says "paid only," however you will not get a ticket for parking there & running in. They said that the parking guy comes inside to make sure none of the customers are parked out front before he writes tickets. I will definitely be back. read more

WORST GROOMING APPT EVER - INJURED DOG- 2ND DEGREE BURNS My dog left his appointment very uncomfortable and in distress. Would not stand up, walk, or eat for 3 days. When I called Bark Public House, they insisted they had nothing to do with this and that it was MY DOG'S OWN FAULT. I finally took him to the vet and he had 2nd degree burns on his scrotum from the groomers hot tools. My dog is now on medications for colitis and also having to take a painkiller to function properly. This place has cost me over $500 in vet bills + medications on top of a terrible experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING. read more

We took our dog to get groomed here twice. The first time, we just got a quick trim around the eyes and fanny area. We weren't pleased with the first cut because of how they had trimmed her eye area, but decided to give this place another shot. I was aware that my dog had some matting, but not to the point where she needed to be shaved so short like she is now. Although we were so shocked as to how unbelievably short they groomed her, the haircut itself is also so uneven. She has patches all over her body that are so short you can literally see her skin. Not to mention the cuts that are all over her body. Her tail was also groomed very uneven and it looks like they rushed her haircut, although she was there for close to seven hours. I will not be returning to Bark Public House. read more

This was my first experience with an over night doggie daycare, and my standard poodle Fozzie LOVED his stay! I highly recommend this place. Melinda and her staff were amazing! read more

Love this place and our pups love this place. The cameras in each day care room are awesome and allow us to peek in on the pups throughout the day! read more

I took my puppy for her first visit and I will not be returning... They just threw her in basically a padded room with at least 20 other dogs barely any access to the outside... not even sure they had water. A human came in every once a while to clean up a potty mess, but, barely even acknowledged that the dogs were there. She is a very playful and friendly puppy but had her tail between her legs most of the day. She still eats three times a day and I'm fairly confident they did not feed her, even though I brought her food with her name and told them what time she needed to eat. She came out looking absolutely miserable and smelling stressed. I will for sure not be bringing her back or even considering recommending them to friends. Do a tour here before you consider dropping your dogs off!! For sure not worth $37 a day. read more

We were referenced to this business via NextDoor and had a less than satisfactory encounter. Understandably, grooming an animal is hard, that's why we take our dog to a professional, but our result doesn't seem professional. Our dog ended up with clipper burn all over his belly and also has a lot of uneven spots from his grooming. Hard to know what happened since nothing was communicated, but it seems like his cut was a little aggressive and rushed. If there was an issue with coat condition or temperament, I would expect the owner to be notified upon pick up, but we were not. read more

Very disappointed in our grooming experience here. We have a Bernedoodle who is prone to matting, so we went in knowing there was a possibility of a shave. We talked to the groomer in length about what we wanted, showed pictures of past cuts, etc. We were assured that if shaving was necessary, we would receive a call beforehand to confirm we were OK with this. We did not hear Bark Public House until our dog was ready for pickup. To our shock, her body was closely shaved. I am frustrated and disappointed that this was not communicated to us as promised. From a business standpoint, the entire team was incredibly friendly and nice. read more

I took my 2 yr old dog here for a grooming apt and when we checked in I was told 2-3 hours and he should be ready. I get a text at the 2.5 hour mark saying he'll be ready by the end of 4 hours. I don't mind that it was extended, I just wanted to know what to expect going into it. I did appreciate the timely communication! The groomer did not seem enthusiastic at all to be there or see my dog which immediately made me have doubts about this place. Then when I picked him up, they had missed several spots and he had burns/rashes all over his sanitary area from the razor. They got me in rather quickly compared to how long you typically have to wait which I appreciated. Probably won't go back, but not the worst place to take your dog for a groom. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional. I had an appointment for my dog that I set up three weeks in advance, I showed up day of and they told me they remembered me but had made a scheduling error and failed to put my appointment into their system. I asked what they could do, because I needed my dog taken care of that day, and they refused to help me at all. Essentially, they made a mistake but did absolutely nothing to rectify it and I ended up scrambling all over town. They weren't even nice about it. read more

Everyone at Bark Public is so friendly. My dog has so much fun there that he barely wants to leave when I come to pick him up. Love the puppy cams so I can check in and see all the fun my pup is having. He also got groomed here and they did a fantastic job. So glad to have discovered this place. Would recommend to everyone. read more

I would move to Nashville just to have this place as my go-to for my dog, Lulu. They got her in last minute for an anal expression and a bath that she very much needed after Florida saltwater swimming days before. They were kind, cool, and did a great job with my baby. THEN about a week later I got an email about a singles night they were hosting, THEN they just sent me an email wishing happy birthday to Lulu. They know their clientele. read more

I have a special needs dog that cannot be at a grooming facility all day. With that being the case, I physically went into Bark Public House to explain her special needs. I let them know that her previous groomer would take her first appointment of the day in order to get her in and out to accommodate her special health needs. Bark Public House made an appointment for me at 10:30 AM and assured me that they'd accommodate the request of getting her in and out as quickly as possible. I arrived to the appointment and was told that there were still two 8:30 appointments that were not done, so that they'd likely not be touching my dog for 2 hours. I took off of work specifically to accommodate this appointment, so I offered to come back in 2 hours when they were ready for her. I was told that was not possible since the groomer "had a full day of appointments"....I reminded them that I came in to make the appointment in person and explained her special needs and that she could not be there all day. Despite this, they would not allow me to come back later and told me I'd need to leave her there for likely 4-5 hours. I again explained that was not possible due to her condition and the groomer proceeded to raise her voice and yell at me that "she doesn't make the appointments". I understand that, however, I came in and made the appointment in person and expressed her special needs. It would have been better for them to just tell me they could not accommodate her needs. They clearly did not have the health or well being of my dog in mind or they'd have been flexible to either a) confirm me for an early appointment to begin with or b) allow me to return in 2 hours since they said they'd likely not touch her for 2 hours anyway. I was not going to leave my special needs dog there for 4-5 hours as that is the opposite of the arrangement I made, so we left...a wasted appointment and wasted day off. read more

A year ago... two years ago, I have given this establishment 5 stars but I can't do that any longer. This week my fiancé went to pick up one of our dogs after a full service groom, the attendant brought out some else's animal and was incredibly flustered... so when we got charged $183 dollars for our 35 lb miniature labradoodle's full service groom, I though maybe the girl had made a mistake. Typically in the past this included a shampoo, haircut, blow dry, ears checked & cleaned, a nail trimming, and an anal gland check (all of which is listed as included in the full service groom CURRENTLY on their website). We went up there this evening to correct the mistake.... however we were informed that despite us paying typically $ 90-105 (in the past which they pulled up in their records for all previous services for our middle dog). We were informed that the groomers are new and set their own prices for the base cost of cuts and the previously included amenities were now a la carte ( nail trim-$ 22 additionally & anal glands- $22 additionally).. the woman at the counter said "oh someone SHOULD have told you before your dog was cut.." (no one ever said a thing)... It would have been nice to know prior to our dog being groomed that they were going to charge us DOUBLE what we have been paying for the past 3 years because we would have taken our business elsewhere instead of being ROBBED at the end. The lack of customer service is astounding which is a shame because this USED TO BE a great place...BUT as an owner of 3 dogs that use to go exclusively here.. we will NOT be going back. read more
