There is no telling how long they had been ill before I advocated for them. Our dog improved with antibiotics, but our cat's condition worsened and she was euthanized 2 weeks later. Given that both of our previously healthy pets became sick while boarding, we have serious concerns about the facility's hygiene and infection-control practices. We were deeply upset by this experience and no longer feel comfortable boarding our pets here. We were also disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement and empathy from the staff.

I paid a premium for a "creekside cabin" which states (per their website) "each cabin comes complete with a flat-screen television, calming color scheme, and custom padded bed." The room my dog was in had no bed for almost an HOUR and the floor was soaking wet. I had to call them to tell them to give her a bed. The bed was just an elevated dog bed made out of PVC pipes. The paint was peeling off of the walls and the room looked like a prison cell. The creekside cabin is also supposed to have cameras. They don't tell you that the cameras turn off for about 9-10 hours a day. If you want to check on your dog between the hours of 9pm-6am, you're out of luck. I also paid for an extra package to have my dog taken outside to go to the bathroom more often. It also included pictures of my dog. They sent me pictures through the metal bars of the kennel where my dog looks distraught. When I picked my dog up and put her in the car, she smelled horrific, as if her skin was rotting. I went home and gave her a bath and her feet were all cut up, she had sores on her legs, and her feet were oozing/bleeding. I had to take her to the vet. Thank god I paid for the insurance here because they had to foot the $500+ bill. She had an ear infection on top of everything else, and had to take medication. When I told the manager about the bait and switch (the room looking like a prison cell), she laughed at me. When I told her my concerns, she said "we'll update the website". Don't send your dogs here. I'm still dealing with the consequences and it's now been 2+ weeks and a couple vet visits.

We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.

He's a unique dog, and for a while we weren't sure we would ever find someone who could effectively and safely handle him, but Grace was able to not only speak his language - but also safely integrate him into walks with other dogs and help muzzle train him. She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!

I scheduled a tour in advance online, and received a very thorough explanation of the Yardstick difference. There are three different play areas for small, medium, and large dogs. During a regular daycare visit, your dog gets a short break in their own kennel area around midday, before jumping back in for afternoon play. An all-day daycare visit will run you $45, and they do offer a trial day for new guests for $25. The entire facility is cute and clean - but I have to say it's the customer service that stands out most. The Yardstick team sends me adorable (and detailed) photo updates throughout the day, reinforcing that I've left my fur baby in excellent hands. Every time I drop my dog off, they greet her by name and genuinely seem excited to see her. Big thanks to the entire Yardstick team for taking such good care of our pup! Every other groomer I tried left me frustrated -- uneven cuts and/or my pups coming home stressed. But from the moment I walked in here, I could tell it was different.
