I paid 139.00 for a bath for my mini dauchound. She had anal glands at 40.00, teeth brush for 12.00, ear cleaning 40.00 they charge extra for a sanitary trim. The bath was 28.00. The bath includes a bath and nail trim only. They shaved the hair on one paw down to the skin and didn't trim the hair around her paws on other 3. That was over priced for a crappy job!

Very clean exam rooms. And very spacious

I just moved here and found battleground off reviews to help my Great Dane cause he has on and off ear issues due to seasonal allergies and they are always quick to help. My other dog was taken care of too! They are amazing. I've worked in a vet hospital for years back home and I am 100% comfortable with my dogs getting medical care here from what I've seen and my dogs' experience as a patient. The doctors are great and the staff is friendly. They always love on my dogs when they go. They are quick with med refills and appointment requests which is great and being open on Saturdays is helpful due to work.

After 15 years of being a client, they turned us away last Friday at 1:30pm when our boy (Max) was having an emergency because they were too busy. They told us to take him to VEG. He died at a place he had never been with vets we didn't know. I entrusted my fur babies to Battleground because I trusted that they were being cared for by the the very best vets with over 75 cumulative years of experience. Max paid the ultimate price of finding out they would not make him a priority during an emergency. I would not recommend these vets. I will never know if Max could have been saved. I have lost hours of sleep and endured so much guilt over having entrusted my boy to these vets.

Great compassion and experience from Dr Bob. We have found a vet practice that is worth the drive from Nashville.

Misleading "Free" Night -- Beautiful Facility, But Watch for Hidden…read more We brought our little Maltepoo to My Second Home because the rep on the phone explicitly told us a one-night stay would be free. What we found when we dropped her off was very different. The facility itself is modern, clean, and you can tell the staff care about pets -- that part was obvious and appreciated. The problem was the surprise charges and upsells that only appeared at drop-off and again at pickup. Playtime, walks, and basic activities were all listed as extra charges when we arrived. The supposed "free night" turned into an $80 bill at pickup. Staff told us it must have been a miscommunication with a new employee in training, but that doesn't excuse the lack of transparency. Pros * Clean, up-to-date facility * Staff clearly care about the animals Cons * Misleading phone communication about the "free" night * Numerous hidden fees (playtime, walks, etc.) disclosed only at drop-off * New/poorly trained employees passing on incorrect info to customers If you're thinking about boarding your pet here, be very careful when you make your reservation. Ask for a written itemized estimate that includes everything (playtime, walking, fees) and confirm any "promotions" in writing. The facility has potential -- fix the pricing transparency and employee training and this could be a great place. As it stands, we left feeling frustrated and nickeled-and-dimed. -- James Meade

Thus, you have to be careful when grooming them because you could damage their undercoat and fur if you use mechanical trimmers. We picked PPPS because of the positive yelp reviews. We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.

She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!

I scheduled a tour in advance online, and received a very thorough explanation of the Yardstick difference. There are three different play areas for small, medium, and large dogs. During a regular daycare visit, your dog gets a short break in their own kennel area around midday, before jumping back in for afternoon play. An all-day daycare visit will run you $45, and they do offer a trial day for new guests for $25. The entire facility is cute and clean - but I have to say it's the customer service that stands out most. The Yardstick team sends me adorable (and detailed) photo updates throughout the day, reinforcing that I've left my fur baby in excellent hands. Every time I drop my dog off, they greet her by name and genuinely seem excited to see her. Big thanks to the entire Yardstick team for taking such good care of our pup! We'll continue to bring her by as often as possible for some of the best doggie daycare in town!
