Look no further! After trying SEVEN different groomers in Franklin and Nashville, I can finally say I've found the one. This place is hands down the best dog groomer in town! Every other groomer I tried left me frustrated -- uneven cuts and/or my pups coming home stressed. But from the moment I walked in here, I could tell it was different. The staff greeted my dogs like an old friends, took the time to ask questions about their coats, and what style I wanted. My dogs go to groomer every 5 weeks, and ever single time I pick them up from Dapper, I am blown away. The cut is absolutely perfect -- clean lines, soft finish, and they smelled amazing without being overpowered by heavy perfume. Most importantly, my dogs co bouncing out, tail wagging, totally happy. That's how I know they were treated with LOVE and care the whole time. I've tried enough places to know how rare this level of service is. Jesse has groomed our dogs for the last 3-4 groomings, maybe even 4-5. I've lost count. I have two Australian labradoodles, small and medium. On the onset I gave him instructions on how to groom this breed. There is specific way to groom this breed or they end up looking like poodles. My little dog has the right coat but my larger dog has curly hair so he won't look as much like the picture I sent and I understand this. Today I sent a message reminding him of how I'd like them groomed because obviously he hasn't groomed them in ways I asked for. Example leaving the ears too long and not cutting them up to the leather. Making sure the head doesn't look like a cone etc... not out of bounds requests if you ask me. He sent me a text dropping me as client at the very time he should have been at my house grooming my dogs. Aside from the obvious lack of professionalism sending a text and not showing up he left me hi and dry as my dogs won't be groomed today and we waited a month for this appointment. But this isn't really anything new. He's been unreliable. Canceling, changing times/days and we've been accommodating. However after his treatment and behavior today looking back made me realize that he's been pretty high maintenance himself. So I DO NOT recommend this groomer unless you like being fired for requesting basic grooming needs. He's not cheap either. $165/180 for my small/ medium dog. I was willing to pay the price but obviously after the treatment I received you can understand the impetus for this review. Nashville has a shortage of dog groomers and I'm imploring all the newly transplanted folks to open a great spot Obviously at the moment this industry is full of waitlists, unprofessional behavior and the pricing has left a wide open market for easy competition. I contacted Dapper Dog and provided them with all the information they asked for so I could set up a dog grooming appointment. I understand like many other mobile dog groomers they need to book out a few weeks in advance. I was more than happy to wait 3 weeks as long as I got my dog an appointment. 3 days before the appointment I received notification from them that my address is outside of their area. Mind you, I provided them with my home address and zip code! And, they confirmed my appointment after receiving that information!! I've been waiting 3 weeks for this appointment and they cancel last minute!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. If this is how they treat people, I can't imagine how they would treat a dog. They also had the gall to say they're sorry I wouldn't let them help me find another groomer. Why would I trust someone who... 1) Can't figure out whether or not I'm in their service area after I provide them with my address!?! 2) Can't be bothered to respond to you unless you've reached out to them multiple times!?!?! 3) Cancelled days before an appointment that's been scheduled for weeks!?!?!?! read more

The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable. I have a husky and it's been so hard to find a groomer that can do a great job. My past experiences with other groomers have been fair at best with a hefty price tag and mediocre results. Most times she would be still shedding and molting clumps after being at the groomer for hours. Lilly not only looks shiny and trim she is not shedding. The price was fair considering I hadn't had her groomed in over a year and they were finished in less than 2 hours. These guys are awesome! My Roomie impulsively purchased a standard poodle baby from the mall, after having a half glass of rosé inside Nordstrom. We had no idea what kind of responsibility we were about to take on, and we certainly didn't realize we would need to be grooming our little beast every 6-8 weeks or so. After doing a little research and seeing all of the ridiculous haircuts people give their poodles, we went ahead and contacted Jesse. He came to our house on time, made friends with waffles, and gave her a super bath, blow dry and precious haircut moments later. Well, Jesse was adorable & was agreeable to all I wanted done during the one time my 3 canine babies were groomed by them but I when I texted them this week for another visit, I was informed that they have now moved out-of-state! So either I was that bad of a customer (just kidding) or they really are not in the So Cal area no longer (& good 4 them 4 escaping this nuthouse of a state!). Horrible!!! This hack will RUIN your dog's hair. Inexperienced, truly awful groomer, he is a total nightmare. He butchered our poor baby's coat. Don't go to this guy. He's really awful. One star is too high a rating for this liar. He pretends he knows what he's doing but all he does is give EVERY dog the same shaved shave down bc he has no other knowledge. His horrific grooming has caused permanent damage to our dog who now suffers from knots bc of how recklessly he shaved off all of her coat. He is the WORST!!! read more

I have been a customer for a few months now and always have been happy with the cost, staff, and care given my pet. However, I recently booked an appointment for grooming. In this crisis we are in most places are giving rebates and offering incentives to ease the pain we are suffering. Not so with the owners of this establishment. In fact, they raised their pricing 10% and are also now charging a service fee for credit and debit transactions. Knowing how we all love our pets and are willing to go the extra mile for them. It appears some greedy people are cashing in on our love for our pets and the covid-19 situation. I will not be returning to this establishment for any type of service and will travel the extra miles to a less greedy provider.
