Injured both of my dogs (one minor, one major) in one day, and are currently not taking any kind of responsibility for it. Drove the dog straight to the veterinarian - he said is "definitely wound was from something sharp"... they insisting that the injury came from something else...lol Yep... Mistakes do happen, but when they happen and the people that make them blame others and don't even call you to let you know that the dog got injured (yup... That's right, I found out when I picked the dog up), we're in a whole new league of bad behaviour. There are lots of other dog groomers in the area... Find one of those. read more

I'm not one to leave a review but I gave this place two chances and I'm so disappointed. The pictures speak for itself and my dog left more mangled than before. I have no idea what I paid $85 for or if she even got a bath. We won't be back and I had high expectations so I'm very disappointed! Not to mention the first time they forgot to cut her nails and we had to take her back and then today we dropped her off at 12:30 for a cut and she didn't get done till 4:15. I understand being busy but a text and update would have been nice. read more

Doodle grooming is no easy task. They never disappoint. My girl always looks amazing. Highly recommend.

I went in for a job interview a while back and got to tour the place. While the front is clean, the back was filthy. Those poor dogs were in crowded crates next to each other and everything was dirty. Most of the dogs were showing body language to indicate they were terrified. I went back to the front after the tour and was talking to the owner as part of the interview who paused to gossip about a customer that simply wanted to use the bathroom. She was working on a black poodle who was showing many signs of discomfort (repeated yawning, trying to get away from her, etc.). For some reason she decided to go from agressively grabbing it's face to trim it, to talking to me, to grabbing it's face again and pulling it toward her to trim it. When the dog was clearly sick of that she went to do the hygeine trim. This poor dog was so stressed the whole time. When the poodle was "finished" and got off the table, it tried to run out of the store. Another customer brought their dog in during the interview and the dog would not walk through the front door, which the shop owner found amusing. If you care about your animal being taken care of and want it to be as comfortable as possible while being groomed, do not go here. This is not a "pet spa." read more

So sad that this didn't work out. I had heard it was a new fresh and good, professional place. I was actually driving from downtown just to come here but they have now canceled on me twice, both times they called the day before my appointment. First time they got me a new time a few days later but this time they said their next availability was in June (it's now April 13th) they also cancel my appointment in May since one of the groomers I had seen quit. Just not reliable enough. I have a puppy that needs a regular cut so I'm gonna have to find a new place again. read more

We are getting ready to go on vacation with our dog and she needed to be groomed. She has been looking scruffy. Most of the time I groomer her myself but I'm not good at it. When I clip her nails she kicks the entire time. She does better when someone else grooms her, at least they say she behaves well. Petsmart didn't have any appointments available for three weeks and I didn't have time to take her to her boarding groomer so I was going to have to groom her myself. I have an addiction to the tea at Starbucks. When I was picking up my tea from Starbucks a few mornings ago I see this big sign with an arrow advertising Four Paws Pet Spa. I got excited at first and then thought to myself that there would probably be a waiting list. I took a chance and called. I was super excited that there was an opening. I called last week and my dog's appointment was today. When I arrived, Sarah was very friendly and greeted my dog, Padmé, with enthusiasm. That put me at ease immediately. I always get nervous when I take her to be groomed because she stays mad at me for the rest of the day. I dropped her off and discussed when to come pick her up. We agreed on two hours later. After two hours when I went to pick her up, I asked if she behaved. Sarah said she was good and she was sleeping. She was in a big gated area and very relaxed. Usually when I call her she gets excited and is ready to go home but when I called her name she just opened her eyes. That made me super happy. She was so happy and relaxed she didn't even raise her head when I arrived. The best part is when I took her home she didn't knock my pillows off the bed. That is our dog's go to "I'm mad at you" move. This will definitely become our permanent grooming facility from now on. Sarah is a pro and I couldn't ask for a better grooming experience for my dog. Padmé was happy and she looked fabulous. I'm so happy to find such a wonderful grooming experience. read more
