This review is for the grooming side only (haven't used the day camp.)…read more My 23 lb beagle mix gets a twice a month bath with special shampoo for his allergies and, because he hates baths and acts like I'm putting him through pure torture, we've opted to go to a groomer for it. Trey has been my dog groomer for over three years now, and he is truly just the best around: incredible groomer, magician with nervy dogs, and just all around kind human. When he moved to Camp Bow Wow earlier this year, it was a no brainer to follow him. He's one of the most reasonably priced groomers in the area and does an incredible job with all sorts of dogs. My dog genuinely loathes bathes and is overall a nervous dog around other dogs. Trey puts him at ease and he comes wagging his tail every time he seems him, even though he knows he's getting a bath. His nails are always filed down and maintained well and he smells so delightful after a groom with adorable fluffy fur! The facility is super clean and I appreciate the dogs are separated for grooming and have their own crates while being groomed. When my dog got skunked when I was out of town last year, for no extra charge, Trey worked his magic and in a couple of visits the smell was almost gone. True miracle worker and I'm so grateful we found him, as it takes a huge headache out of my life and helps me to know I'm always leaving my baby for a few hours with someone I trust. There's a dedicated parking lot for customers and I appreciate that staff is on top of making sure any dog who comes here is up to date on shots/vaccinations. Even though I don't use the day camp services the staff at the front desk are incredibly kind and welcoming to me and my pup and give him little treats and hugs every time we come in. It's a wonderful and welcoming experience and I can't recommend getting your fur child groomed here with Trey enough!

She has not only transformed bad behaviors in my dogs but also taught me how to better communicate and work as a team with my dogs. Dog training is a lot of training the owner as well and Melissa is extremely easy to work with, takes the time to make sure you understand everything she is teaching and uses a variety of methods to train your dog to be the best that they can be! I recommend Melissa to everyone. She even helped out of town family members tremendously over FaceTime training to improve leash/walking skills! We love Melissa and you will too!

Melissa is so down to earth and professional. I am a first time dog owner- kinda insane that I got such a stubborn and smart dog (beagles) but Melissa taught me SO much. For those that know how difficult the puppy stage is- I would have never survived it without her. She was available in between training sessions to help if Eleanor started a new bad habit or started a strange behavior. Anytime I had any questions or concerns- Melissa was always available with advice, links to products that saved my mental health. She is a phenomenal trainer, human being and sooo knowledgeable and experienced! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Then, I had applied to meet her for adoption & met her, & took her home never looking back. This sweet girl had some tough knocks and behavior issues to go along with them. I enrolled her in a 6 week program with Mighty Dog Services. The team was patient and worked with her throughout the training. Her fear of other dogs, barking at people, pulling on leash walking, nervous pacing, separation anxiety all were resolved. She's a a happy camper that knows what I ask her do, she does it and happily takes praise and treats- and lots of love. They helped this dog overcome a rough past so she can trust and enjoy what she has now. She and I both are extremely thankful for the folks at Mighty Dog Services in Portland TN. They work with all breeds, ages and issues. They truly treat each as an individual and unlock all the potential the dog has to offer. As a dog mom- just as a mom of children. I would rather not fuss at my dog for behavior issues- I just want to love and enjoy them. Its possible , I promise give them a call.

He's a unique dog, and for a while we weren't sure we would ever find someone who could effectively and safely handle him, but Grace was able to not only speak his language - but also safely integrate him into walks with other dogs and help muzzle train him. She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!

Great big fenced areas to play in, and best of all communal sleeping on furniture! She felt right at home. Highly recommend this place. From the very beginning,…read moreChelle's expert guidance helped us navigate Level One Good Manners training with our dog, Tubbs, and we were so impressed that we immediately renewed our services to continue into Level Two Good Manners. Chelle is the definition of a consummate professional -- knowledgeable, patient, and warm. She shares her expertise in such a nurturing and encouraging way, which makes both the dogs and their humans feel confident and supported. We especially appreciate her positive reinforcement approach, which has not only helped us train Tubbs, but also helped us recognize and "correct" some of our own human habits along the way! As new pet parents navigating adoption, Chelle has been a trusted source of advice and reassurance. Her responsiveness and kindness have meant the world to us, and it's clear she genuinely cares about every dog and family she works with. Beyond training, we plan to be lifelong customers through For Social Graces' boarding, daycare, and grooming services. Tubbs has already enjoyed a brief overnight boarding stay and absolutely loves his daycare visits! Thanks to Chelle's influence, what started as Tubbs' initial apprehension toward car rides has turned into daily excitement -- he knows that car rides often mean getting to see his friends at For Social Graces! While Tubbs has always been a wonderful dog, Chelle and her team have helped his confidence blossom and his manners flourish, strengthening our bond with him in the process. We also really value the small class sizes, which allow for personalized attention and hands-on learning in a calm, friendly environment. Chelle and her team have truly made a lasting difference in our lives. We're so grateful to have found For Social Graces -- and we can't recommend them highly enough! -- Charley, Michael, & Tubbs
