I take my cats here to get their nails trimmed because they wiggle too much when I try to do it at home. I have been bringing in my hefty boys for a couple of years now and always as a walk-in. This is our second time using Groomer Has It & both experiences have been terrific! My doodles come out looking exactly how I had hoped, while also smelling amazing. They were very kind from the get-go to me & my pups. Considering mine only get groomed fully about 2-3 times a year, the pricing was suitable to the services they provided! They finished both of their baths/cuts within 4 hours, where as other places I've been have taken upwards of 3 hours for just one dog. Would highly recommend. Had an interview scheduled through indeed with the owner of this place. She's not very friendly or nice and never gave me her name. I drove all the way over there it was about a 22 min drive got there early. and waited for a long time in the waiting room. And was told by the workers to wait for the owner because she's dealing with something personal. I waited there for about an hour. It was a huge waist of my time. I was told to leave and come back later because she wasn't going to be coming back in to interview me. Which was very strange and rude to do to someone taking the time to come interview to work for you. I agreed to a reschedule. A family member ended up getting injured at the time I was supposed to leave for the interview. I messaged the owner for a reschedule ahead of time. And was met with message telling me that she has so many people wanting this "opportunity" and refused to reschedule with me. No ounce of even a little understanding seeing as she did worse to me 3 days before. Proceeded to say that she's "gonna pass" on a reschedule. Im pretty sure that's unprofessional and it's fair for me to ask for a reschedule especially that something serious came up for me with a family member! Just like her! But she felt entitled when someone else needs the same understanding they gave to her. It's okay when you need it but not when someone else needs it? Thats not a good way to run things at all. I have bathing experience and with grooming it wouldn't take long to train me at all but yet she wanted to move on that easy...because I needed to reschedule my interview. DONT GO HERE!! I went in to use the self service dog grooming area. It was $15 each for my German Shepherds. I asked if there was a blower before I paid and the groomer said yes. I start washing my first dog who is blowing her undercoat, attempt to use the "shampoo" that doesn't sud or have a fragrance. So I stop and ask if it's actually hooked to shampoo and they said yes, but it's hypoallergenic. So I asked if I could have real shampoo, that would leave my dogs smelling nicely groomed. I get through her bath and then start to blow dry her. I turn the dryer on and the air flow is so weak, it barely knocks water off her coat, let alone getting her undercoat off. I ask multiple times if it can be turned up so that I can effectively use the tools I paid to use. Nope. I asked how much it'd be to have her blown out with a real dryer and they said that they could go over her quickly but wouldn't be able to finish her because of time restraints. No problem, she comes out about 3 minutes later, coat looking worse than it did before they started drying her. I then again state that if I had known the equipment wasn't suitable for actual grooming, I would have not chosen to use the facilities. A woman said it'd be $10 do have her dried. Okay. Then, an older gentleman then came out and told me it'd be an additional $20 per dog to have them dried!! I asked him to get my dog, because I'm not paying $20 to have my dog dried for less than 10 minutes! When I said that he said "well just leave then"... I have never experienced such poor customer service or lack of equipment working!! Why would I pay $35 to bathe my own dog?! If your equipment was legitimate it would have been a simple task of washing and blow drying my dog. It seems like he was looking for any reason to get more money from me! read more

This groomer consistently changes prices for services. Took in our cat today 1pm appt. Called 4pm to ask if she's ready. They responded that she was not ready, nor had she even been started. We asked if she'd been given water or chance to use restroom, and the head groomer yelled at my wife to come get her. And the service was never completed. PetSmart grooming services (no matter where we went) has fallen short so many times and I just scheduled both my doggie babes to get groomed here. My husband picked them up and was shocked how amazing they looked! smelled and looked so great!!! Their service is great. Took my maltipoo here a few weeks ago. The staff was very friendly and my dog looked fine when I returned to pick him up. BUT, the PRICE for an 11 lb. little dog was more than I paid in New York and CA!! I have never paid over $65 (includes $10 tip). DO NOT take your pets here. I've never written a review, good or bad, but this is definitely warranted. We took our golden doodle here and her fur was, admittedly, a little matted. But we brush it out all the time and it almost always returns to normal. Sure it takes a little time but it gets most of the clumps out. They didn't even attempt to brush her out and just simply shaved her down to almost her skin without our permission. They were more concerned about just getting the job done than doing the job well. If I'm paying you $100 to groom my dog, I expect you to put in a little effort and not take the easy way out. Not to mention the missed many spots while shaving her down. We will never go back here and I advise many of you to take your business elsewhere. read more

This is your warning. Don't go here. You only have yourself to blame if you read this, ignore this and schedule an appointment for your pup. I have been here twice. The first time I brought my dog I wasn't super clear about some details and my dog ended up with a terrible haircut. Some things were totally avoidable (like uneven lengths in places, choppy ear trims) and other things I blamed myself for, for not being super clear about specifics. So I paid the $61 (yah, pretty steep) and blamed mostly myself. Brought our dog back again and this time literally had a check list of specifics, laid them all out and they put them on his "card" and when I picked him up most of those items were missed....resulting in a terrible cut. Still I paid $61 but told the shop owner they screwed up... screwed up big time. The girl at the desk wouldn't listen but instead had to bring out the girl who did the grooming. She was completely defensive - either blaming her coworkers for not clarifying and then blaming us as the pet owner. She continued to argue...all we needed was an apology and an acknowledgement about what was done wrong...(and done very wrong) but that was not going to come from her lips. So we left... will not go back and will make every effort to let people know not to go here. A couple more things.... and they're important. The place is filthy. They don't clean up the pet hair/fur throughout the day...when we arrived at 2PM the entire floor was covered, and I mean covered in all sorts of pet hair. The groomers were covered in it too... gross. We were told they didn't have my dogs leash, but they did..and we knew they did... so yah, they searched some room (for quite a while I may add ---whats back there??) and they found it. Our dog leash is an expensive, designer leash... (Yah, our dog is spoiled)... so I could only assume they were trying to pull some kind of theft off here. Also, when we walked in, three girls that work there were all gossiping and talking crap about the last person who picked up their dog... who... SHOCKINGLY... was complaining to them about the crappy cut they gave their dog. So yah, do what you will... but know if you take your dog here, I think you're crazy. And, likely you are paying a lot of money for a sub par cut done in a dirty environment by some very unprofessional groomers. read more

Don't go there. I used to bring my dogs here about 3 years ago and they were great but now it is dirty and they butchered both of my dogs. I have shihtzus and usually groomer give them a fluffy puppy cut with the top knot. They cut both of their eyelashes and shaved both of my dogs. The shave isn't even even and my little one had bloody nails when I picked her up. Do not bring your animals. It's not worth having them ruin your fur babies. $170 and they looked terrible with bloody nails. read more

Finding a groomer in Nashville has been difficult for us. There hasn't been one that we've been completely happy with. And we hadn't decided to make a repeat visit to anyone until we decided to give Groomer Has It a second try. I was weary after the first visit. Our Mini Schnauzer came back to us with a too square beard and to our horror (yes, it's that big of a deal!) his long beautiful eyelashes had been cut off. Yes, they will grow back but I was so disappointed to see they had been cut. And even more disappointed in myself that I hadn't been sure to tell them to leave his lashes. But then again in the over 4 years we've had him we have never had to tell a groomer to leave his beautiful long lashes untouched. The last groomer cut him (and didn't tell us), the one before that was astronomically expensive but did a good enough job. So we decided to come back to Groomer Has It with clear instructions about his lashes and a few other things. We got a call an hour earlier than they told us to expect that he was ready. We excitedly picked him up (literally picked him up while they searched for his leash) and we were given an opportunity to evaluate his work more closely. And there they weren't. His lashes that had started to grow out were not cut they were butchered. I decided to not let it go this time and said something to the woman behind the desk. She got the groomer that had taken him when I dropped him off and I explained my disappointment in his missing eyelashes. She too looked disappointed and let me know that another groomer, Rocky, had actually done his cut and she had been told repeatedly to not cut his lashes. She went to get Rocky and that's when my disappointment resolved into anger. Not once did she utter anything resembling an apology. She basically blamed us by saying she always cuts them so the dog can see better. My baby is 7 and has had those lashes for his entire life without any issues being able to see properly. After a few minutes of back an forth with her it was clear she wasn't going to take responsibility for ignoring the instructions and there was no way we were getting an apology. I left angry and upset. Groomer Has It will not be getting any more business from us. read more

I took my purebred rough coat collie here & asked for a short Summer coat. When I picked up my dog, she was completely shaved. The only hair left was on her head & at the end of her tail. I was shocked & extremely upset. The owner apologized profusely, but it was too late. My dog had been there once before & I could not understand how this could have happened. Clearly, the groomer did not look at her records. I did not pay for the service & the owner offered me an additional groom, but I am not comfortable leaving my dog in their care. read more

We used Groomer Has It for our dogs while we lived in Bellevue, we had great experiences and the dogs always looked great and were well taken care of while they were there. When we moved to Franklin we continued to use them, even though it was a 30 + minute drive to get there. However, the service and grooming just went down hill over the last year or two. We had gone there since they opened (5-6 years) but now we are using groomers in Franklin until we find one we like and will use regularly. Groomer Has It's staff shows little to no concern for the dogs. They practically drag them to the back... which actually sounds terrifying! My male dog has anxiety and is a WRECK when he comes back. Being in the cage with all the barking in such an enclosed space scares him. I have asked that they place my dogs in the cage together (I assume they don't listen and do it) so that he will be less anxious and that they get groomed about the same time for the same reason - I'm not sure that happens either. One time I picked them up and the girl went back to get them from 'the room', she had to cover her nose and mouth with a bandanna before going through the door. WHAT IS IN THAT ROOM!!! For a week or longer after they are groomed my female will quiver in pain (she is 12 years old). the first time this happened I thought it could be because she was cold (she is a tiny shih tzu) since she was shaved down from a longer length. when it happened again I took her to the vet and they believe it was due to pain from the anal gland being expressed with too much force or just all around doing it wrong. I still had to have the expression done by the vet because they didn't do it right! My male dog also had the pain but not nearly as bad. They both seemed traumatized after the last couple grooms, that is when I decided we wouldn't go back. I'm not driving 30 minutes each way, 2 round trips, and paying too much to have my dogs left in pain! Recently my female had to have her eye removed. She started having eye issues about a year after she was there being groomed and one of the groomers nicked her eye. They took her to Valu Vet next door and were given some ointment for it. I didn't find out about it until I picked them up Groomer Has It used to be wonderful but the service has declined and the staff just seem rude, uncaring and unconcerned with anything! Unfortunately, we won't go back. We really liked the owner, we used her at Petsmart before she left but the groomers there now are not what we expect for our dogs grooming. Wow!! What a great place and such caring people! This was Gigi's first time at Groomer Has it. I love the way they groomed her. The lady who took care of Gigi was Jessica. She was so patient and gentle. She asked how I would like Gigi trimmed and did a great job. The price was right too. And they gave her a Greenie treat on our way out. I brought Gigi in at 12:30, and she was all done by 4:00. This was a great experience and I am grateful I have to say that that review about the lady who didn't PAY!!! because the dog's fur was too short... That's just mean. These people work hard!! I think that was pretty stinky to give a bad review over that! You should be grateful that they took care of your dog because they are such dog lovers there I seriously hope you don't go back. read more

Stopped in to use their self service bathing station. The tub still had clumps of a previous dog's fur which had been there for who knows how long seeing as they told me no one had used the tub today when I had called prior to showing up. It's $15 which is pretty average. The shampoo is one of those that dilutes through the hose which I hate but that's fine. What's not fine is that while the nozzle was turned to "bathe" which should have released shampoo, it gave a spurt of soapy water then went back to being straight water. Could not get anything that resembled a lather on my pup. There is only one option for the shampoo and it's some sort of clear, hypoallergenic, non-scented shampoo. No option for conditioner. The dryer is not very good- they might as well not have one but at least the owner acknowledged it beforehand. Long story short, $15 later- my dog still kind of stinks and is wet. I will say the girl who answered the phone when I called was very nice and pleasant. read more

I took my two boxers in for a nail trim and file. They were nervous and my male dog is terrified in new places. The woman took him back, practically drug him and didn't even talk to him. She was talking to another groomer while doing his nails. The other woman was nicer and talked to my female dog and actually asked her name. But she claimed she filed her nails and I watched her, I only saw her clip them. The whole thing was traumatizing and i cried all the way home. And it was over $40 with tax for both dogs. A took my toy poodle there to get rid of the winter coat and get his nails cut. When I got him back it looked like nothing had been done to him. They had brushes him out and his coat was still not white. I was very upset but still had to pay $80 something. When I got in my car I heard scratching noises on my seats come to find out they had not cut his nails like I had asked. They were still the length they were when I dropped him off. He has been there multiple times and there has only been one time he has been cut correct. I feel that their prices are too high for what you get in return. read more

Took my pup here for the first time today. He came home with razor burn all on his underbelly and cuts on his paws. When I picked him up, they tried to convince me he broke out in hives from ingesting something previously. Although they said it wasn't razor burn or caused by anything they did, they said they were going to wave the cost of the groom. I didn't ask them too..they offered. I took my dog by there to groom her in their self service area, if you want to call it that. Before I got started, I asked to use the restroom and the chick up front said 'ummmmm we don't really HAVE a bathroom. We have one in the back but we can't let you through due to reliabilty.' Fair enough~I am not going near the dog that you are grooming but it's your place to decide so I'll inconveniently go next door. So, lucky for them and me I only needed their water and a power outlet to plug up my dremil and my force dryer. I own my equipment. The self service area is Shade EY. I bathe her in the floor due to her size. Five minutes into her bath the water starts rising. I clean out the dirt drain in the floor (not my dogs hair) and procced. It helps very little and while I'm down there I notice the pipe connected to their hose has split into pieces hence nooooooooooooo water pressure. The owner then came over to tell me not to leave my equipment in her lobby, because there are cusotmers coming in. (not really) I wish I had said to her, you know customers that pay you $10 for your water and outlet for 20 minutes aren't the type of customers that you want to run off. read more

When I lived in Nashville this is where I took my bichon for grooming. My dog was always happy when I picked him up so I was sure the grooming experience was as stress free for him as possible.
