But the best part ( besides the hospitality of the owners/brewers) was the beer! We tried Ales, stouts and IPAs. All were amazing. Not beginner beer at all. I've been to some breweries that have 4 to 6 different IPAs and they all taste like they came from the same batch with just different names. Swing on did not disappoint. All three IPAs were different and the New England IPA was one of the best New England IPAs, I've had in a while . Disk golf in the back. Golf simulator inside. We will definitely be back!

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and had pints of the Special Kind of Evil, a hoppy IPA style pour and the All Hallows Ale, a riff on a porter. Porters aren't my thing but this was really good with all sorts of spice - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc. The IPA was a nice balance between a regular one on the hoppy side and a more Imperial style - ABV landed between 6 and 7%. The atmosphere here is just something special - it reminds me more of an English pub, where friends hang out together every day to catch up and fraternize with their neighbors. And the service is both knowledgeable and generally friendly, emphasis on genuine. Oh and their merch! Not your normal merch! A lot of it is handcrafted - really nicely done leather items, hand crafted. I really wish I could pick this place up and take it home with me to Ohio! They have a good variety of brews suitable to please all the spectrum of drinkers from Seltzers, Stouts, Ales, to hoppy ass IPAs. And they even have coffee if you want to skip the booze. You are free to get a taste before deciding as well. The fella behind the pours was really nice and loved that he used his face and head jesters to let me know if he liked a certain brew or not ;) Say no more, sir!! I'm excited to see what is going on around these parts as the weather improves and the outdoor area opens up. But it will be our stop anytime we head to FHSP!
