This is probably the best basic Mexican in Maynardville. Yes, I said basic, I'm very picky about my Mexican style food due to living in the southwest so long. But I can say the street tacos are much bigger than the usual street taco size. Great stop if you're traveling or coming g back and forth from Norris Lake. Military discount.

Fantastic. Sweet. Yes. Doesn't stop the intense flavors from coming through. Also tried a classic spud. The potato fed me for 3 meals. Was recommended the chicken ranch spud for next time. Potatoes are cooked to perfection. Also, need to make room for a funnel cake. The owner hires the nicest people. Ask for a menu when driving up. Or take a look at the photos section here. Will be a regular. Treat yourself to this local gem.

Definitely a nice stop for treats and eats, something unique that isn't like everything else around it. I'm definitely all in for the funnel cakes; not the biggest fan of shave ice in general, no fault to this place for that. The walk up and drive through options that they upgraded (along with the building) makes it more accessible than it was prior. If you're in the area or swinging through and wondered if it's worth it, I'd say get yourself a Funnel Cake!

I used their preferred method of online ordering and I have yet to receive my food as I ordered it, something is always wrong. I kept coming because their food was good and convenient but never again. I decided to try calling in an order for the first time thinking maybe their system sees the order wrong. I get there and they've messed it up again. They overcharged me by $20 and overrang me four items. When I told them this I was treated as though it was my fault. They only would refund me for $13 and still told me I had to take the extra item I didn't want. My dog was in the car so I was trying to just get in and out so I wasn't paying attention. Then the manager would not let me leave until he could lecture me to use the website THAT I ALWAYS USE to order next time and not to call. I've probably ordered from this food truck at least 10 times using that same website and have never got a correct order. This was my last straw I will not be returning and I would advise against it unless sitting down to eat.

It took us a while to actually go -- my husband was skeptical, insisting "locals don't know good pizza" -- so I pulled up some reviews and photos online to talk him into it. So glad I did! The pizza was excellent: wood-fired, chewy crust, loaded with toppings, and a great sauce. Everything you want in a pie. The beer was just as good. This is officially our go-to pizza spot now. A few things to know before you go: it's only open select hours, so check ahead. It's dog-friendly (they've even got their own resident pups on the property), and it's just 12 minutes from Frozen Head State Park -- perfect for a post-hike meal. Oh, and the view is great too.
